I think that I prefer keisuke’s races in both 4th and 5th stage to Takumi’s. His racing is based on actually be godlike. I love takumi’s raves like the one he had against the evos in Agaki but keisukes are just so fun. God Foot’s race is amazing and keisuke not having a weird gimmick besides “when he concentrates he becomes really good” is more proof to his skill. Also he has some of my favorite eurobeat songs in his races.

Same. Keisuke grew a lot because of his daily training and I liked Ryosuke admitted he surpassed him. I also think several Takumi races were because he got "lucky" (I think that started from 3rd stage, when there was 50% chance the leaves would be on one side of the road)
At first when Ryosuke told Keisuke that one day he could beat him i thought he was being nice to his brother. But on the fifth stage i understood that Ryosuke had a point.
Initial D is so cleverly constructed that they got us hooked on Takumi and had us staying for him along with Project D. Perfectly encapsulates that exciting feeling of late 90’s illegal mountain racing. Sick shit.
A complete masterpiece, an amazing combination between underrated eurobeat songs and Keisuke's awesome racing complications. Your abilities is far beyond the starters. Yet your reward doesn't worth the time you spent and the effort you used to make this. Truly underrated man

Hideo Minagawa has reputation as a pro driver. He won't risk any further than that after he put pressure on keisuke Takahashi. Because Hideo thought when he put pressure, keisuke would be break his consistency to preserve tyres on FD3S and go full speed just to run away from Hideo supra. Hence, this backfire to Hideo about supra which is heavier, so his tyres were out first.
just because he's rich doesn't mean you can hit FD especially when it's a cym, the supra driver must have no idea how expensive that yellow would cost him and his insurance

I agree, Keisuke felt like an actual character with development, Takumi just seemed to lose all personality after 3rd stage.
I really love that they didn't focused too much on Takumi. My favorite race on the 5th stage was actually Ryosuke vs Rin.
