Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Mazda plans to stop development of the RX series because rotary engines are outdated and lack the efficiency that other common types of engines provide.
@@protolcol There exists the RX Vision, though currently it's still only available in Gran Turismo. Still, I believe Mazda still has plans for the RX series.
This is honestly one of if not the best Initial D AMV out there, and a great AMV out there anyway. The cuts, and timing are great, and the track itself is one of if not my favourite Eurobeat/Initial D track out there. I remember this was like the first Initial D thing I saw ever, years ago, and I watch it now as D fan, and love it more. And having seen the original scenes and battles in this video make it even better. One of my favourite videos to watch.

@@nissangtr4349 I have no idea how the last race actually worked, the previous races had rules where if you were in a lead in front of your opponent by the finish line for a few second, you win that race. I think the same idea worked on this particular race.
I haven't followed Initial D since Fourth Stage. Wasn't that the TRD racing engine he bought in Second/Third Stage? And he managed to kill it? Difficult to get another one, I'm sure..
@@alvatoredimarco yes. He did manage to kill it. Would highly recomend 5-6 stages. In the anime he keeps the ae86 shell. In the manga he scraps it. He revs up to 12,500 rpm for a time over a couple seconds. It destroyed the block

I know it's not a driftcar ,in in US standards, but for me... having driven a a fuckin Punto for at least a 5 years, It's quite an improvement for me. Another non-car guys buy freakin LX-es or new Mustansgs or Demon Chargers and they don't know shit how to drive cars.We, the poor sports drivers, we make to most out of what we have and we fuckin CHERISH it! Doesn't matter if ot's a Punto, or a Lex is200, or a freakin corvette. We make the the most of our cars... and THAT, is what makes us car guys.
this series was a huge inspiration to get into racing games. Learned a lot about racing from kinds of cars to styles of driving. understandable that a lot of it is exaggerated in the Anime but there are good pointers to learn from in the show. Even inspired me to build up an ae86 similar to the Initial D star in Forza MS3 and tuned it to race down the Fujimi Kaido tracks. I got it to the point I would win races down the track against cars that were a class or two higher than my 86 using shallow drifts around the tight narrow turns. I miss that track. Hope Forza brings it back in the future.
If takumi first met shinji and raced in another course different from thier home course, I think takumi is gonna win. Both trained their skills differently, but takumi adapts to anything.
Just finishing watching Initial D today from Fifth Stage to Final Stage, it was my dream to watch it when it release, but I couldn't find the way to watch it. Ahhhh, the golden era for Initial D.

I know it's not a driftcar ,in in US standards, but for me... having driven a a fuckin Punto for at least a 5 years, It's quite an improvement for me. Another non-car guys buy freakin LX-es or new Mustansgs or Demon Chargers and they don't know shit how to drive cars.We, the poor sports drivers, we make to most out of what we have and we fuckin CHERISH it! Doesn't matter if ot's a Punto, or a Lex is200, or a freakin corvette. We make the the most of our cars... and THAT, is what makes us car guys.

this series was a huge inspiration to get into racing games. Learned a lot about racing from kinds of cars to styles of driving. understandable that a lot of it is exaggerated in the Anime but there are good pointers to learn from in the show. Even inspired me to build up an ae86 similar to the Initial D star in Forza MS3 and tuned it to race down the Fujimi Kaido tracks. I got it to the point I would win races down the track against cars that were a class or two higher than my 86 using shallow drifts around the tight narrow turns. I miss that track. Hope Forza brings it back in the future.
If takumi first met shinji and raced in another course different from thier home course, I think takumi is gonna win.
Both trained their skills differently, but takumi adapts to anything.
