Revenge is indeed one of the GOATs forever and ever, but about War Zone: you say it was a bad game, when in reality it wasn't bad at all. First it was a huge upgrade compared to the Mortal Kombat style games WWF had released the past few years prior, finally we were getting a simulation (which was a huge deal at the time); the graphics were pretty good for its time, and the moves were well executed; most importantly it's the very first American wrestling game where you could fully create your own wrestlers and save them on a memory card. I mean it's a bit weird that you're praising Revenge's ability to change the color of a costume, but don't mention that in War Zone you could literally create a character from head to toe and add him to your roster. Anyway, good video but War Zone deserves more love.
I agree. When Warzone came out, I was obsessed with it! So much so I rented it nonstop before my birthday that year, and my mom surprised me with it. Even once the AKI games came out, I still played Warzone and Attitude for different experiences. World Tour was awesome but I loved Revenge. So much love for No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000 too. The WCW arena are where it's at, though! I used to create my own 'storylines' out of the tournament and championships.
I love this gem. It’s the best of the 4 THQ games on the 64. I remember the first style of this game on the ps1. This game is from an era of where Easter eggs were special. Like sting coming from the rafters to la parka coming out with the steel chair. Plus the roster was sick. Not to mention that at the time Wcw was rocking wwf. The Wcw/wwf war was such a time that will never come back. I got the last thq game on the 64 but I play this game over it.

i couldn't get passed the games horrible control scheme, thats what the WWF games always had, and later AKI figured out.
