A lot of wrestlers didn't seem to understand that the promos were supposed to about why you should pick the wrestler not that you are going to square off with them. Lol
For WCW thunder the best one hands down is Curt Henning for nitro it would have to be either one of Harlem heat Stevie Ray or Booker T. everybody always makes fun of the worst one which is Alex Wright which is the same promo that he does on both games lol!!! And as far as Eddie Guerrero on the nitro version I know he does the promo in Spanish and he does the promo in English so I guess it's pretty much the same thing that he's saying in Spanish.

The thunder rants felt kinda weird in a good way, because you get this mix of laid back 90s promos with DDP, Hall and Nash, but also shouty 80s promos with Anvil and Piper. I like it.
Anvils was funny because he laughs like a maniac and the looks off camera and then stops lol. Pipers promo was awesome and funny, I still enjoy it to this day.

Yeah right after he split up with Rick Steiner and joined NWO he was known as "The Superstar" Scott Steiner for a little bit, if you play WCW/NWO Revenge on N64 you'll see Superstar on his tights.
Wolfpac Sting was definitely leaving a lot to be desired. This was the rough time in Stings personal life before becoming a born again Christian so maybe he just didn't care at this time. In regards to other comments I think Sting 99-01 after the NWO ended started to really find himself giving promos and he carried that on to TNA where he prolly did his best promo work of his career.
HyperionTesla Dude Anvil faced a dub of crack in one hit before that promo! And poor Crush...his promo skills were just tragically disastrous... worst of all he was clearly trying. Bulldog's on the other hand was surprisingly good, and of course Piper owned it.

That Sting promo he did with the white face paint was his first promo changing into the crow gimmick. You can see he was trying to incorporate his old style with the new style at first with no shirt and talking then he eventually just changed it to a full body suit, trench coat, and not talking.
