Your one of the few men who can put florals together without making them look like a big mop lol. GORGEOUS work with out over doing it. Thanks for sharing Joo
Just beautiful. I still have snow on the ground and certainly am jealous of your beautiful garden and yard. Love this design, seems so simple the way you just put those wires in those leaves and put that bouquet together. Thanks for sharing
Really nice classic design, it expresses a lot of naturalness. You said we can ask what we would like to see in the next videos. I would love to see how to make a teardrop wedding bouquet. Thank you.
Beautiful bouquet 💐 !! I duplicated your techniques using white roses and yellow tulips for a spring bride's bouquet. It turned out absolutely lovely!! Thanks for this video tutorial, John:)
I’ve recently become a bit of an addict and watch every new video! Please could you, as the wedding season hots up, give us an idea of what garden cut flowers and foliage will last well in wedding bouquets and church arrangements? Thank you in advance.
I’m doing the flowers for a couple of weddings this year so I loved this video. Top tip about the cold glue. I love the little flowers you added at the end. Such a lovely detail.
I agree that sometimes simple is best, John! This is lovely and as simple as it is, holds a certain elegance - it's the shape I think. Thanks for this one! As an idea (since you've asked), would you think of doing a large, all around arrangement - of your choice. Something incorporating several varieties of flowers and greens? Just a thought. Meanwhile, enjoy the week to come!
I learn every time I watch your videos John! This was a beautiful example of floral movement, and elegant use of Spring's gift to us , the tulip! You were so kind to email me back John a few years ago , when I asked about Irish flowers used in bouquets. Would you ever consider doing videos on Flowers in bouquets that are used in countries? Example : France: Larkspur , Liliac , Scotland: Heather , Ireland : Shamrock USA : Rose. This is my polite suggestion. Michelle
Thank you Michelle 😀 and that’s a really interesting suggestion, you are making me think of ideas 😀 I used to work in a hotel, doing flowers and for international buffets we would try and theme each stand - so carnations for Spain, and thistles and Heather for Scotland etc. good suggestion 😀🙋🏼♂️
As a new florist I have to say you are amazing sir! It looks so organic and yet so polished!!! I love your work and i thank you for the education you offer 😊😊
the addition of the Kalanchoe blooms at the end really surprised me! I've never seen that done before! The bouquet went from lovely to lovely and cute! following from Ottawa, Canada :)
Hello! I was thinking of making a similar bouq for my future dtr in law and using the ivy from my yard. Do you know how hearty the ivy is after cutting and used in a bouquet? tia :)
Ivy is a good foliage choice because the leaves are quite thick - the only growth to avoid is new soft growth as that can wilt. Just cut it in advance and pop in a deep bucket of cold water to get a good drink overnight and it will be fine 😀🙋🏼♂️
Loved this design, and really admire your confidence, but being me all I wanted to do was fix that broken ivy piece that got caught in the string. OCD much 🤣
The day before is ideal - any earlier and the tulips will move and change too much - and the bouquet can lose it’s ‘fresh’ just made feel . It is possible but it is relatively quick to make . 😀🙋🏼♂️
That’s a good question - depends on the weather / season ! As long as they are not too fully developed in the first place then they might only open slightly but will still be good and strong. I would avoid more developed blooms that might of lost a bit of strength as they can drop petals. But a mix of closed and semi open are nice - and wiring to keep closed might be too damaging for the flowers 🌸 some tulip varieties are closed style - others will open, so worth choosing a good variety that stays closed
Great as usual - that accent at the end really makes it pop - thanks
Thank you - and they last well as succulent flowers 😀🌼

It’s cute isn’t it 😀👍🏼
Just beautiful. I still have snow on the ground and certainly am jealous of your beautiful garden and yard. Love this design, seems so simple the way you just put those wires in those leaves and put that bouquet together. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! Yes the wires just give the outer ‘collar’ of ivy leaves a bit of strength so they sit nicely 😀🌼
Hope your snow goes soon 🙋🏼♂️🌼
I love the little detail ending! I have never thought of that. So pretty!
Thank you 😊 and they last really well as they are succulent

Замечательно!!! Очень довольна Вашем полезным для меня видео! Спасибо
Please do a spring design using gladiolus, thx from New York 🙏 😊.
I shall keep an eye out for gladiolus but that tends to be more a summer flower here. Interesting as a spring design 🌼😀

I think you're capable 👍🏻of doing anything because you do it with flowers. That's art too.😊

Thank you 😊 you noticed! I should of cut it a little shorter or replaced it but didn’t think it was noticeable 🤪🙋🏼♂️🌼
Would you have to make this the day before a wedding or could it be done 2-3 days prior?
The day before is ideal - any earlier and the tulips will move and change too much - and the bouquet can lose it’s ‘fresh’ just made feel .
It is possible but it is relatively quick to make . 😀🙋🏼♂️
Would the tulips open and change the look? Could you cross wire them so they dont open?
That’s a good question - depends on the weather / season ! As long as they are not too fully developed in the first place then they might only open slightly but will still be good and strong. I would avoid more developed blooms that might of lost a bit of strength as they can drop petals.

Hi, do you have any designs using sunflowers for a wedding bouquet?
Hi 👋 no, but that’s a good suggestion for a video! They are best used in a hand tied design so they can be kept in water until needed. 🌻🌻🌻
E bellissimo
🌼🙋🏼♂️
❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
👍🌹
😀🌼
Beautiful ,but it's up to high I can't see what you are doing❤
