@@jazzysoggy12 it sucks. Also breaks everything I’m doing with the frontier now. It will require the frontier. No way around it. I asked the devs themselves if there were any possibilities. Answer is no. MMM2 wont just add cars. It’ll implement them into the game.

Mad max mojave looks like a blueprint for an incredible Fallout spinoff game.
apparently, the guy in charge of mad max had been working with Brian Fargo back during the interplay days on possibly developing a fallout inspired mad max game, but it was canned.

I would recommend world expansion mods like beyond the borders, because the Mojave gets pretty stale
Always had instability in games when removing invisible walls though.
Maybe its bc of the mods lol, even if you remove alot of assets, the mods well, add more assets
Kudos for actually recommending Solid Project and not peddling the misconception of it being unstable.
But the reason why tree removal mod and such are causing crash is because of how NV engine works. Even the Unofficial patch team stated that you should not delete any mod records ever. And doing simple stuff like deleting trees, rocks and shrubs will cause unseen, cascading problems later on. (not sure about simply disabling them though, I think disable records instead of completely removing them is fine)
So, aside from that, very, very comprehensive modlist and compact explanation.
I was worried those mods might break more things even if loaded later. I’ll pin a comment and put this info in the description thank you!

Completely deleting a record of something from the game can make something else (or many more) to stopped working. For example, if one quest specified that you must run to that one tree in order for an event to trigger, that event can no longer trigger because the tree is gone, and no info of it existed.
However, if you disabling the tree instead, the info of that tree or its 'ghost' will still existed, just not presented in actual game but it will still allow the quest to referencing it and play the event as normal.
Most of 'performance' mods created before 2015 make use of the deletion method because it is very easy to do in GECK or NVEdit. But they're inevitably lead to even more long-term crash.
Any alternative to make nevada more like desert mods? Atleast one thats really disabler trees and such.
This is the best Mad Max mod combo I've ever seen, well done for good choice of the mods.
for the sandstorms you could use nevada skies and then disable rainy weather and enable dust storms in the mcm then set the chance of a dust storm of your choosing
I've always wanted a Mad Max inspired RPG. Also, I highly recommend the Mad Max game for those who haven't played it.

This looks like a entirely new game with all these mods it looks like if you picked Fallout 1+2‚New Vegas‚Tatics‚Mad Max and Borderlands put it inside a blender and injected it with heavy doses of Gasoline and Steroids into the paste and holy hell you did an amazing job unfortunately i probably won't be able to experience it for a while since i don't have a PC
(Unrelated note) If there's something i would absolutely love to see in a Fallout mod would be if someone used FNV's Engine to create a Fallout mod Set in New Orleans since there's a Lot of storytelling potential to be had in there since New Orleans is a quite 'Unique' with it's own Face and Culture that could be explore in the World of Fallout specially with some 1920's Aesthetic inspiration for the Town with references to the Axeman murders‚Vodoo‚Jazz Music and etc.
(P.S no this is not a request) just wanted to share some thoughts and Ideas

Great video! Love that you put Ashes of 2063 music into it! Really fitting! At weapons & armor though you seem to be using weapons that aint part of the vanilla game nor the homemade weapon pack mod. Those looked kinda cool, care to tell which mods they are in? :>
There are The Frontiers weapons which I have injected with Mad Max Mojave. But I recommend you wait until my next update for the mod. Im remaking it.

Just bought the Mad Max 2015 game, and I had to come back and watch this video again.
Mutant Mods is probably one of the best content creators for this kinda stuff. Reminds me of Gopher's mod lists for Fallout 4 way back in 2016 and Al ChestBreach's hundreds of mod showcases.
Man, this kinda reminded me of Al's old Minecraft 'Go West' challenge somehow.

Don’t use the plant life removal mods they break the game in many ways I couldn’t notice.
Mad Max Mojave is getting regular updates daily stay on the lookout.

Perhaps this is my favorite collection of mods. Almost with such a set of mods I played. I would also add a mod for increased weapon damage and reducing the health of enemies and the hero
Watch out for Raiders, Buzzards, and the Doof Warriors. It would be cool to have the WarRig in here, but that would probably break the game.

@@Mutant_Mods The biggest thing is there seems to be a lot of research and effort into compiling the mods from both this and the other series about making new vegas more like the originals. I clicked on this one honestly expecting it to just to be a showcase of a single car mod for 12 minutes, but the work put into making it an actual conversion is really cool to see. Presentation is also nice and concise for how many mods you have to get through in a relatively short period! Looking forward to more.

Mojave Raiders and Mojave Wildlife are great for remedying this common complaint of players. I’m assuming you’re talking about how empty and boring sometimes traveling in FNV is.

@@themitheus The roads would be crowded as f*** with raiders. And I have no idea how to script I’m just a beginner when it comes to modding.
@@AdiAlZabdah I understand the latter, however i meant that Gearheads would spawn instead of Vipers only in some places, whilst still keeping Vipers spawing in some others

Wow taking two of my favorite things - mad max and new vegas and putting them together... definitely going to be trying this in the near future. If you are reworking the mod would you consider an add-on to support similar playstyle in the Cajon wasteland of New California? That map with all its big open desert spaces just feels like that would be a blast too.
I’m only working on the Mojave. i will place vehicles in balanced locations, add a few raider camps with modded cars for the player to earn in places where there previously was nothing in NV. And I will add three factions with varying encounters for the goal of putting the player in different combat situations and to teach them lessons about the wasteland. And that’s it. After that if anyone wants to add something, remove it or whatever, they can go right ahead I give my mod to you.

Theres are no motorcycles. Adding creatures to NPC LL isn’t possible.
