Alexis looked gorgeous here, even if it didn't make sense why she would be dressed that way when the weather looks way too sunny and warm for that outfit.
Considering 1984 comes before 2016, it should be surprised to see people dressing in 2016 like it was 1984. Anyway, basically fashion trends always comes back around. But also "classic" styles are called such for a reason.
The whole idea of Alexis driving around in Kirby's car is strange. I never liked the character of Kirby. She seemed mentally unstable. Claudia was also unstable, but she owned it and made it work for her in a way that made the character much more likeable than Kirby.
Agreed on Kirby. She stunk and so did the actress. Such a weak character and let everyone push her around and then finally got up nerve to attempt to shoot Alexis, folded up like clam. So boring. Lady Ashley character was also lame but Ali MacGraw was not right for the one to portray her. Just did not fit her really. Neither character lasted very long.
Seeing Alexis with Kirby is like viewing a 1980s fashion model with today's model. If you watch a fashion show from the '80s and a current show, you'll see the difference in the models.
People tend use the phrase "born in this house" to mean it's the house their parents lived in when they were born and they were taken from the hospital to, not literally "born in."
People didn't like Kirby that much as a character, but her backstory issues were always so compelling -- like her crazy killer-mama and her closeted impotent daddy!
They couldn't come up with a better name then Kirby...I'm not a judgmental person but why would someone call a baby girl Kirby? It's not a pretty name at all just my opinion.
So wait...Joseph lived in the Carrington's home (isn't that what a major domo would do?) and also that huge house? Also, how well was Blake paying him for him to afford a house like that over 20 something years ago? Or did he already have to paid for before he was working for Blake? Why I am even questioning the logic of this show?
@@TheHoopyscoopy Pamela Sue martin was not a good actress either. But both had that innocent yet Lolita quality that the role of Fallon requires. Emma Samms was good actress but she wasn't Fallon.

Pamela's a way better actress than Beller. Her acting wavered near the end of her stint because she didn't like the spotlight.
