Yes the old woman was the actress Natalie Core. She appeard three times in different roles: - Dynasty The Reunion (1991 - woman at auction, talking to Krystle) - Dynasty Season 5 (2 Episodes as Dina Hartley) - Dynasty Season 4 (woman at cemetary when Kirby visited her mothers grave)
I felt so bad for Alexis having that outburst - she was telling the truth when she had the outburst. I can relate since I can sometimes be excitable and have to control /supress any urges to have an outburst. Also, Adam should have insisted she engage a top criminal defense lawyer since he's too emotionally involved to give her the best possible defense - although he's doing fairly well here.
The building used in establishing shots (10790 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles) is one of a pair but the shots depict the West side of the West building, plus there is another building between the twin complexes so there would be no way of seeing the balcony (I don't know why they call it a terrace) from the other building. @@dalemcilwain The only thing is that Dex didn't die in the fall at the Carlton. He didn't fare that badly either. He got away with only a few bumps and bruises. He died of a heart attack in August of 2021.
@@30dizzy34 I'm talking about the show. I know Michael Nader passed away a few months ago. In 1991 when they had the reunion movie, there was a mear mention of the fall. But no mention of Dex's condition. Nader & Beecham did not appear in the movie reunion..

It sure is good enough for this old fan. There are so many nods to the 80's show and times. They use covered 80's music. It has a least a couple 'damn!!' moments each episode. The only thing I don't like is making Jeff Colby black just to be black. But the new show is in Atlanta so it does at least make some sense. But they are from a poor Caribbean family, so that doesn't jibe with Colby vs Carrington story. And they rarely use the 'business' as storyline, most of it is in the family/house. And they do have a fantastic staircase like the old Mansion. Even has the same staff names for the help. Watch it once and see...
Yep I agree. The show’s characters are way too immature. They’re obviously trying to get the millennial audience to watch, but the dialogue and storylines are just way too dumb down. And the COMPLETELY dumb down the Alexis character! Totally hideous!!! Dynasty was hardly PBS worthy but they at least had solid, interesting, and visually entertaining storylines. The writers and producers need to watch a few episodes of the HBO show “Succession”. THAT show works: the characters act like adults, the storylines are focused on the business and competition, and the characters are smart, mature, and they bring in the whole wealthy 1% vibes perfectly. The writers need to mix a bit of “Succession” and another excellently visual show called “Riviera” that I think is on the Stars channel (or Sundance? I forget which). That focuses on a wealthy family in the south of France. If they can just have the same vibe; same look to CW’s Dynasty (and the title alone should make the viewer expect a smart, visually stunning show!), I’d watch it, but really the CW version is pretty dumb. I do like the house, though. It’s much lighter than the original Carrington mansion in the 80s series, although that mansion exudes “old money billionaire family”.
The thing was, that the lady said she saw "someone" with Jennings. When asked was it Alexis, she said she didn't know, it could have been. But "could have" is not definitely. Alexis had no reason to outburst. Court room drama can assassinate a person's character and make it seem like you are not the true person that you are. They can make you a villain. But in this case, Alexis is a villain.
Any competent defense attorney usually advises his/her client to dress conservatively and subdued in court - this is why Alexis' outfit and makeup are subdued here.
