Hands on engineering at its best........ Nothing better that watching Mancave at 4am when you can't sleep!!!! Oh your fault iv just bid on two vintage engines fingers crossed one except my offer then I can hide away in my man cave........ Brilliant vidio 👍👍👍👍
Love the "thank you John" milling machine . Like the name "hillbilli engineering" . You should get sponsored by WD40 - the amount you use and all the various applications. Its a joy to watch you . Never a dull moment and we can all relate to your style - keep going kid - you are a breath of fresh air .
Good series nice little thing loving the new milling machine bet nasa as never seen such a precision machine lol hope you two are keeping well keep up the vids
Great work mate lovely little engine. Can't wait to see it running. Great video to watch came out of the Norfolk and Norwich yesterday had gallbladder out sore 😢
Those screws you used for the manifold are for the Mag backplate. should be studs and nuts for both manlyfolds! AND with washers! I've restored two of these in the past.
Good Evening Adam mrs man cave ok?, Well it look as if you have done it again can’t wait to see it working well done mate.🛠️🛠️⭐️⭐️👍This is for mrs mancave ❤.
Trojan mini motor,my first motorbike. your missing the friction drive wheel, cover for ignition and fuel tank, and the aluminum hinge that mounts the motor to the bike and allows the motor to lift of the tyre.
If you can size the studs you could try hitchcocks motorcycles, they do parts for the old royal Enfield bikes and have the part books on-line which generally give the sizes.
I left you a comment on last video re-Cossley engine. I think you have a marine engine they use to run anticlockwise. If this is so, you should not get a spark if you run it clockwise.
Is that a Trojan Mini-motor? Had one to play with back in the '60s. This looks very similar. An Italian engine made under license in the UK... (My dad threw it out)...
Mr, Mancave, ignore my advice at your peril but i hope you are not thinking of NOT replacing main crankshaft oil seals because how much of a good spark you get it will not start, [i have been messing about with engines since 1959]
First job is to have a good measure up, i/d shaft, o/d crankcase and width. you may be able to get double lip reinforced seals, Plenty of bearing/seal shops around.
I'll go one better, Adam..I gave myself a very nasty 2rd degree burn right between me chest & me belly...EATING SOUP!!!...I think I'd give it a bit too long in the microwave...bloody oxtail should come with a health warning!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Enjoyed this video thank you

It would be a good project and a perfect time to make a stud on your lathe 😁< project that would make a good video too !

Hello bud. im after a crank seal and set of rings. Did you manage to get new parts?? if so do you remember were you got them?
Good Evening Adam mrs man cave ok?, Well it look as if you have done it again can’t wait to see it working well done mate.🛠️🛠️⭐️⭐️👍This is for mrs mancave ❤.
Hi Adam love the milling machine very good on electric lol I hope Mrs Mancave is getting better
Your workshop compressor could do with a pressure switch mr mancave
Forward to the future. Great Great Great grandchild of Mr mancave buys a rusty spacex rocket at Swaffham auction, and gets it running 😂

Nice wait see what doing got
That's some tec mancave engineering for you, the stuff we love and why we watch👍🤣
basket cases can be fun

It's amazing how it can come back Adam and I'm sick again
There's a maker's marking on the loose side of the crank case.

Smashing little engine looks very 1930s art deco

Not so much 'oil' seals as crankcase 'pressure' seals. (2 stroke fan!)
I thought exactly the same one of the most important parts of a 2 stroke .
Agreed....it's so nearly fully apart that to NOT do the crankcase oil seals would be a big mistake.....and cause much heartache...!
Aw. Any idea were I could get the seals??

Its not the Space Shuttle its just an Engine
I cant tell looks to me like the rings are gone
Trojan clip on motor by the look of it
Mate , you have a lathe , you can make studs etc.
Just looked on the web
Engine might be 1954 vap a 1.75bhp peugeot
Make a stud, take 5 minutes
WD40 !! what wrong with a mixture of vinegar and old engine oil much more environmentally friendly than an aerosol .🪒
