This edition is great! But adding a little bigger tires, with the clipless body. Isn't so easily done. But it does look more realistic than the first generation of Sport!

I am on the fence about the S.E.! However I do love the red one!!! I am not a fan boy of the high lift editions, I have to center my tires in the wheel wells.

Thanks for video, I appreciate the review as I'm looking for my first serious 1/10. Question if you're still monitoring comments...: In addition to modifying the shock oil, what else would you do to make it more 'crawler-y'? Would a wider wheel base and softer tires get it there?
Yes, absolutely. along with wheel weights to stick it to the ground, and a larger gearing ratio to get more precise throttle control and or overdrive/underdrive. if you want to, go with a trx4m so you can practice crawling but on a smaller, less expensive scale!

I haven't been excited about a new RC in a while. I thought the Copper K10 was exceptional because it was licensed, and I believe it's the first time Traxxas has ever sold an RC in that color. This Special Gray Edition is rad, in my opinion. I wanted to get just the assembled body from Traxxas, but they sold out pretty quickly. I couldn't bear waiting, so I contacted my closest T.E.D. and am getting an RTR. I also ordered the new "Green" Long arm lift kit, so I can fully trick it out. This will allow me to take the stock black pieces and lift one of older TRX-4's if I choose. Bonus!

Thers nothing new bout this truck except the new body chassis and radio is the same with lock unlock diffs it’s the same as the trx4 defender
