Much as I enjoy the physical game, its a massive pain to set it all up just for myself. This is really helpful for actually getting to play more Spirit Island when I'm not with my friends. :D
One question I have though: if I wanted to play with the Horizons / Spoiled Nature Incarnate stuff, how do I do that?
@@losethegame101 you should be able to find an upload of the Horizons spirits on the workshop. I haven't checked for NI yet, but safe bet you'll find it there soon. Worst case scenario, you can build them all yourself using the images from the NI crowdfunding site.

Important note on the ability to copy/paste objects - only the host can do this. Other players are dependent on the host if a unique asset needs to be duplicated. Also, you didn't cover on the right hand side of the board there is a button that shows/hides the player aids.
The host can give other players permissions so they are able to copy/paste also.
Great video as always! I have learned so much from you. We just switched over to tts. Question: Since you do the videos with best boards for certain spirits, how do I select my boards I wish to play with or manipulate their position to try different 2 player board layouts?
Top left there are several icons. One of the icons has a boards. Click inside the icon, find the board and drag it out. Then you'll need to rotate the boards in place to the configuration that you'd like.
Wow i just drag the boards onto the table ahead of time and the program auto populates them when i hit start game! Thanks man huge help.
Highly recommend anyone new to Tabletop Simulator checks out the short tutorial series Berserk Games put out in 2017. Some if it is a little outdated but mostly still great information for new players.

Just a question that came up how do you add/remove a board? Since there are major powers that do that.

One annoying behavior is if you have your cursor over annobject and press a hotkey to add a new object (like adding.a 2nd blight or explorer to fall on the first), the game will cause you to "pick up" the object the cursor is on (move it off the board and into hand. Usually this is just annoying, but when you add an extra board (by hotrong threashold on b isions of an jntouched land) that new board is also "picked up" when I try to drop tokens on it. Do you know how to turn off those behavior, or at least modify an after-the-fact added board ao oke can use hotkeys to drop objects on it?
Is there a way to hotkey adding defends, instead of dragging from the element markers?
Tips from me since I only just started out and remember my struggles:
Copy paste is very nice for AoE Defend Actions like the Serpents Aegis or encompassing ward. You can just copy one defend and paste it everywhere you need it.
The "Reminder Token" is the Backside of The Defend token. Use this as a reminder for f.E.: Action skips, or Stones retaliation damage innate. Grab it from other spirits when you give out cards like Gift of Constancy.
Not that I know of (outside of copy / paste)
Options (top of screen in-game) > Game Keys allows you to set custom hotkeys for the spirit island game elements. Just beware that if the hotkey is also used for something else, it will now do both.

How do you change the values on the defend tokens?
Press a number key while hovering over the defend!
I know you can zoom in/out and can unlock an object and press +/- to change the size of the it. That being said, is it possible to do this for the boards themselves?

How do you swap the spirit you want to play? (If I picked the wrong one?) and how do I make a new game after the first?
Click on the games tab at the top and then click on the mod to load!
How do you add/stack/manipulate invaders without them falling all over the place? I find when I need to add a bunch of invaders, it's hard to stack them up quickly and neatly, but somehow you're able to do it!
Hmmm. I'm not sure how I do it. I drag and drop the pieces and they line up on the hit boxes.
Could you remind me which events are redraws for you?

Outpaced (getting removed in NI)
Farmers Seek Dahan (hinted to get removed in the Dahan expansion)
Numinous Crisis (usually too good for the spirits / creates swingy games)

How do I rotate the invaders such that I can keep track of the damage they have taken?
Numbers on the keyboard. 1 and 2 I believe! (Not number pad).
Oh, also I forgot to ask, how do you add other spirits like the ones from Horizon I've seen you playing with?
I load it in via Objects. I have it saved as an object.
The mod creator has refused to upload Horizon content at this time. I have my own saved objects instead.
Hopefully he’ll add them at some point.
To my understanding the mod creators are honoring the 1 year exclusivity Target has for Horizons

Can you help? How do you rotate card 90 degrees immediately? And how can I line my cards in perfect line (not in columns but in line, you do this often in your videos).
Top right there is a guy lifting weights and a number. Change that number to 90.
To make cards in a line, select the cards (draw a box around them) and press a number on your keyboard.
