As someone who has been using the armor series for about 4 years, yeah they are very tough. I tried something I had seen in a demo. The gorilla glass screen was able to crack walnuts without cracking the screen.
@@danielololo9218 I can guarantee any other brand of tablet that came out at the same that the ipad he has, would break if you where to bit them, 99.9999% of phones are not meant to survive you biting them.
All it proved is that screen protectors are softer than the screen, which in turn means that it's utterly pointless to have one on your phone since at this point the latest incarnations of gorilla glass are extremely hard.
I actually have the Armor 2 from this company, and when it comes to everyday use it's actually pretty damn good. The camera in the 2 is just meh quality, but everything else about it is rather nice. Only flaw I can point out is their QC might not be the greatest, because the rubber lining on both right-side corners on my phone has come partially unglued/unsealed from the phone. After looking closer, I've found it's because the rubber pieces were a little longer than they should've been, so they were stretching themselves out or something sciencey like that.
Ulefone: says cars won't hurt it waterjet channel: yeah what if take a humvee that's about twice as heavy, and is basically made to be extra rugged for army use
They did. They also ran over it with the screen up anyway, tires aren't exactly sharp. It was just too much weight. Paper thin plastic won't help in the slightest.
Whoah, this is like magic! I watched the video, and then I got an email saying TSpring sent my "lick test approved shirt has shipped." A Christmas miracle!
What a coincidence my lab is always chewing on my iPad,ears, sleeve, sock, pants, shoes, chairs, blanket, and couch. But I still love him 🥰❤️and he’s so sweet . 8 weeks old
It would be really dumb if it ~just~ had a UV Index sensor. It would be really cool if it’s normal light lumens/temperature sensing that it uses for the camera also had a tiny bit of software that measures the UV component and gives you a UV Index reading as well.
Now that your test methods are approved, you should test the Nokia 3310. My dad once Drove over one with a school bus by an accident and only damage to it was made by small stone that punctured the screen a little. You could still use it as normal :D
Should have done the waterjet first instead of the humvee. The phone's integrity was already weakened after running it over with the humvee. Not that it would make much difference against the water jet(based on your other videos), it would just be easier to see if the special water resistance made any difference at all.
Will it blend, that is the question? Hwoooo, lithium smoke. Don't breathe this! I own a Cat S61 which has got pretty much similar features and it came with a proper glass protector already on it instead of a piece of plastic. It's got some much better features/tools built into the phone instead of a UV meter. I'm pretty sure most people know how hot it is not if you need to put suncream on.
I'm 0:25 seconds in and I'm thinking 'Yeahh... Kill that phone!' But, I'm curious as to find what is or has been the most difficult thing to cut..... hmmm... or what took ages to cut!
The manufacturer is trying to tell you that it loses its waterproofing after something is broken on the phone in a drop test or any other stress test that causes failure to the structural integrity. Pretty simple logic. You put a hole in a boat, it collects water.
the screen protector did nothing with the scratch test; the gorilla glass on basically every phone in 2019 is harder than metals used for keys coins and knifes so will be very hard to purposefully scratch out the box with everyday items, love this channel tho
Maybe try the phone on a piece of flat steel or 3/4 plywood. I know with it setting on the rocks it made like a 100+ small pressure points on the phone instead of one big flat one. How do i know this? I ran my company iPhone 7 over with a small Kabota backhoe tractor on some gravel and the only thing that broke was the screen from where the gravel rock pressed against the screen.
I wish I would have seen this video when it came out......I just bought this phone......kinda like it......best of all, it isn't a locked phone that the carriers force you to buy the crappy, expensive phones.
it only failed the Humvee test because you took the screen protector off
They put a new one on
Yeah sure. A screen protector would really stand up to thousands of pounds of pressure...
Idiot.
but you can see in the next scene that there is a screen protector on again

Ulefone Armor 7: "We included the crushing force of a humvee and the pressure of a waterjet as benchmarks we needed to pass"
Cannot recommend this phone to anyone. If it can’t survive a Humvee then what’s the point of owning it.

The title is click bait, it is obvious that the old Nokia phones were the most rugged phones.
I agree, they should had said "smartphone"
AKGaming, seriously was though, my dad’s old Verizon flip phone got run over by a tractor and still worked.
One time my brother left my nokia in a bucket of water and didnt tell me about it for a week and it still worked
