Greetings from Chicago! My 3 sons gifted this gem of a guitar for my 60th birthday. Couldn’t be happier with the playability and quality of sound. Think you nailed the pros - which definitely outweigh the cons (who gives a crap if someone in the audience thinks the guitar is rubbish). I will be giving my Taylor a break in 2023 as I get to know my new baby. Thank you for spreading the gospel of the fabulous Fender #affordasonic Well done! 😎🎸
Just purchased this exact guitar 2 weeks ago. Been playing for 45 years, mostly acoustic and I can honestly say this is my all time favorite. I haven't picked up my dreadnaught since I open this one up. This is perfect for playing in full mix. Mine came in excellent condition. No sharp frets. Just had the next adjusted for lower action. These sound best plugged straight into a PA System as they already have modeling built in. If you plug into an amp you will be disappointed. I plug mine straight into a LR Baggs Para DI and into the FOH. Sounds great!
I wish all gear reviews were as detailed, informative and obviously unbiased as your Affordasonic review. Thanks for helping me decide whether this could be something for me or not!
I just picked up one of these on reverb for $500 in a sale - and I'm incredibly happy with the price point, and am excited to play it. I'd been shopping for acoustic/electrics for a while and at $500 I don't think it can be beaten. I'm stoked, it'll be perfect to help teach my girlfriend how to play (she's been asking for a month or so).
Thank you for playing it "unplugged" for us. A lot of reviewers neglect to do that with these. I know it's not really the intention of these guitars, but it's a feature I am looking for.
Great review! I agree with most of what you said. I've had my "affordasonic" for almost three weeks now and I really like it! ...but I have a warning: it eats batteries like there's no tomorrow. I suggest never leaving the battery in it when it's not being played through an amp/PA. I thought, like my other guitars which use 9-volt batteries, that all I needed to do is unplug the cord and the battery wouldn't drain, but it seems like it sucks the life out of the battery even when it's unplugged.
@@livemusicseychelles6485 I stream gigs that last one hour and gigs that last three hours. If I take the battery out between each, I can get three sessions maybe four short sessions out of it. I always unplug the patch cord when not playing the guitar, yet It seems like the battery drains anyway when left in. So I take it out. I'm going to try rechargeables.
Howdy🖐🏼😃; I picked up one of these about a month ago as a last minute replacement for my 2013 Martin HD28 (it was starting to rain and tho it was an indoor gig, I didn't really want to get it out in the moisture...) Took my new Telecoustic and my little Fishman Loudbox Mini to the gig; no time to test it out at the store (walked into the store, saw it on the wall, bought it and walked out), so I was depending on Fender's rep as a quality instrument. Long story short, it played and sounded like a million bucks at the gig, got compliments from the pickers in the room, and that was even before I realized that I'd bought an MIM 'Player'. Don't know what could be functionally different between it and a US model, so I consider it a pretty economical purchase (not to mention that it paid for itself at the gig!) I'll give it a thumbs-up👍
I'm an honorary , card carrying , end of video member of the affordasonic club. Got mine yesterday Americana is my flavor. Thanks for the extended video of this incredible instrument. Alot of R & D went into this guitar. I'm going to enjoy learning the many voicings I can create . Have fun busking with yours.
Excellent review of the Affordasonic! I have one, and watched this video both before and after I bought and played it. On my first viewing, it helped educate me on the various sounds that came out of the guitar. On the second viewing, I definitely agreed with most of your assessments on the playability and sounds of the guitar. I have been playing guitar for 55+ years, mostly electric (Les Pauls and Strats), and I love the Affordasonic, and find it very useful when performing live in a duo format. The guitar feels great, and is very playable for me, especially the neck. As a mostly electric lead player, to me this guitar sounds like an acoustic, and plays like an electric. Thanks for your terrific review!
I got my acoustisonic player telecaster yesterday and after a couple of hours of playing I have to agree the rounding off at the top of the body is sooo comfortable.
You really hit on a lot of good points. I played the American Acoustasonic for awhile and loved it but I just couldn’t afford it. But I did order this one. I actually like the electric sounds. It isn’t the same as a real Tele but it has it’s own voice. The thing that sold me is that I can get an acoustic sound on a guitar that is easier on my arthritic hands. After all these years I need something easier to play and this fits the bill. Also I like playing quietly while watching TV and my Martin is just too annoying for my wife.
Just picked up the player Tele and have played it on stage with no complaints. I’ve owned the US jazzmaster since it released. The MIM is just as nice. Fret work is clean, zero QC issues at all. As far as the rosewood vs ebony on the fretboard and saddle, they’re both really nice. I did use the 3rd position (Body sensor) on the USA a lot but even without that feature the player has great tones available. I’m a live looping performer so the ability to switch between acoustic and electric tones is great and its such a smooth playing instrument. The price difference is not reflected in the build quality at all. I also play on my church worship team and the acoustasonic sounds great in that context as well. Great review! Watched it before making my purchase and it helped with the decision to buy another USA or try the player. The players a great instrument.
What a great review! There are not many I watch til the end but the affordasonic is one of my interests at this point. I am a soloist . Small parties and a few bar gigs here and there. I think this would be a great addition to my guitarsenal as you put it so well. Thank you again for the great review. Maybe one day my dreaming will turn into a reality. Aloha bro! 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I'm thinking about getting myself an Affordasonic so I am now in the research stage. This is one of the Best reviews I have seen... great work and thank you!!!
Thanks for the great review on the Telecaster Player Affordasonic. I've learned a few things from your review, which I appreciate. I own a Telecaster Affordasonic ( made in Mexico) that I am now playing. Thank You for the great video.
Well done with this review of the Affordasonic. I took a leap of faith and ordered one before I watched the video. After watching I feel so much better about my purchase.
I bought a two year old Fender Acoustasonic Player Tele at the weekend so I'm still feeling my way around it's possibilities. It's in an as-new condition, with the soft case and cost me £650 (about $800)! Affordasonic and some! Great video by the way, which has helped me to understand the way this guitar thinks! Can I say that? Sure!
I played one of these for the first time this week, and I must say I can't stop thinking about how damn cool it was. This is also my fave review of this model I have seen over the last few days. Thanks so very much. #AFFORDASONIC
Had been pestered by a friend that was 'going pandemic' to sell him my Godin A6 Ultra Koa for months, so called him and said come and get it, ran out and bought this exact same 'Affordasonic'... Love it, nice and light compared to the Godin and while the A6 was a joy to play, was overly busy with sliders and teeny knobs. Great for a solo gig player I suppose but this Fender is just perfect and simple for me (and my playing level). Thanks for the review.
#affordasonic I had the American version, had to sell it…then immediately regretted selling it. SO glad they came out with this version! Guitar companies think way too much of their American versions. Thanks for the in-depth review, made it easy to make the decision to buy one.
Such a great detailed review of the "Affordasonic"! Exactly the level of review I was looking for. I think, based on your thoroughness I am going to jump in and get one.
I like telecasters. I’ve been a part time professional since 1961. This looks like just the thing for me. Being a Fender, I’m sure it’s a quality instrument. With this one I think I can move a few guitars away from my main chair and use this Tele as my main one for practice, noodling, writing, late night couch picking, pedal experimentation, and you can never have too many guitars.
Affordasonic is something that I thought wouldn't come out so soon after the release of the original models. Im glad they did. These type of guitars have come a long way since the last time I purchased an attempt at a hybrid (39 years ago ).
@@jarnobot I bought a Fender El Rio back in the eighties. Thin body, plays like an electric but would feedback and the tone was neither good as an electric or acoustic. I have bought the Player Tele and the 3A and 3B sound like an acoustic that's been mic'd up with 2A and 2B sounding more like a modern acoustic plugged in. My reason for liking it is however the weight of the thing and it being so thin it's a joy to play even unplugged as a practice instruments. My use will mainly be using it to record music and while the electric Tele tones are not exactly the same they are quite usable.
Great review. The simplicity, 9v battery and lower price of this model is tempting me. I think the reduced sound settings would make it easier to dial in preferred sounds, particularly with a looper, within a live situation. This could just be me- I have enough difficulty deciding what sound settings I want on my Stratocaster! For home recordings, pub jams and church worship I can see this being a hit at the price point
Top Review on the player series Tele. I’m just a keen Amateur “Home” sofa noodler…& been looking at getting one from the start… But as you say….”It was too expensive”!! What I like was “You reviewed what you’ve got”! Not what it’s not trying to be!!(if you get my drift) It’s like when ppl review an epiphone les Paul with a Gibson and slag it off!!! Makes no sense. (Coz if I could afford a £2/3000 Gibson….I’d get one🤷🏼♂️) We can’t all afford £££££ so yer get what you can! I like the guitar for what it is… Cracking Review!! Brit reviews are better!!😀👍🏻 I’ll prob get an “Affordasonic”!👍🏻 Cheers.
GREAT review! I have the 2x8 Streetcube and I'm curious how it will sound through my acoustic amp from Fishman. Mine will be here in the morning. Affordasonic!
Thank you. Just bought this. Not delivered yet. Just did homework and came up with this. And you just made me feel better about my purchase. $1800 Australia. Thanks mate.
If you’re having to fight high action, simply adjust the micro tilt to get a more electric guitar feeling action. All you need is to loosen strings (use a capo to avoid a string to fall off) loosen the two lower neck screws, and tighten 1/8th clockwise. Tighten neck, string to pitch then check. Take your time, multiple fine adjustments may be needed.
AFORDOSONIC😃 ! Great video, thanks for all the details and lovely playing too. You’ve convinced me! I’m going to get one, my acoustic guitars are too expensive to play live with, the Fender Telecaster AFORDOSONIC will do the job and not worry about ruining my acoustic guitars playing live. Many thanks, I’m a ‘convert’ to the MIM AFORDOSONIC ! Brilliant thank you 👍🏻
Fab review. I played one today. I like it very very much and I agree with everything that's being said here. I think this is my next guitar purchase. Why? There are several reasons for this. It is indeed a joy to hold and play, I can imagine it being especially well suited for late-night strumming on the couch when one's significant others went to bed. It plays close enough to a real acoustic so that you can practice a lot of your acoustic stuff. It is light and compact, you can imagine singing along with it at parties with friends - ideally plugged in (a small good quality Bluetooth speaker would do), but even without that, it's quite alright if you don't sing too loud. I travel quite a lot and it seems like the ideal travel guitar. As I said, compact and light and not too expensive to break your heart (and budget) if something happened to it. You can strum along in your hotel room... But if the opportunity to play in a pub arises, you're more than covered out of the box. That said - if you really want to sound better than most people playing electrified acoustics, you just add one more element - an IR loader pedal.
@@45zapatero Hey, I get what you’re saying and you’re right, of course. What I wrote is not what I actually meant. What I meant was you could use it with a Bluetooth speaker, BUT connected through AUX. That’s what I do with electric guitars: guitar - headphone amp (the Vox AC30 thingy) - aux cable into aux input in my Bose Colour BT speaker.
I bought an American Jazzmaster with black paisley about two weeks ago. I played it and played it, and I kept it pretty much on position three the entire time. I just liked it the best. I returned it because I just could not justify the expense for a guitar that I just used in one position. However, I do want to say that I loved the way it played and sounded. I just ordered the affordasonic, and I am waiting for it to arrive. My expectation, is to get a guitar that is its own thing; just like it’s more expensive counterpart. I am not a purist by any means. Approaching instruments like a purist makes one miss out on nuance. I have read about people not liking certain aspects of this guitar. Cool. Don’t get one. Buy a tele if you want a pure tele sound (just to be honest here, I find someone complains about those as well on reviews and forums even though they are pretty much the same across the board considering price point) I digress. If you want pure acoustic or electric sounds, buy an acoustic or an electric. A $1200 electric or acoustic is going to sound pretty good. Get one of those if you don’t like this, but understand comparing those specific instruments to a jack of all trades, but master of none guitar is like comparing a bike to a motorcycle. They are not the same, and their purpose (even though similar) are not meant to be the same either even though they both have two wheels and require balance. I like these guitars. Besides, it is just me playing the guitar for fun. I am the only one who cares about the sounds coming out. My dog just sits and sleeps next to me, and is indifferent to how amazing the solo I just played was, nor does he care about the intricacies of the electronics. I am just trying to keep things in perspective here. Thanks for reading this. Just my thoughts. Good review, Guitar Geek.
Thanks for introducing me to the Nembrini Acoustic Voice Guitar Preamp! It sounds great paired up with the Acoustisonic. I'll definitely use them together for some of my "live in studio" recordings. It's no substitute to the harmonics and overtones of mic'ing my Taylor, but it's not too shabby for several uses!
A great review and it helped me in my decision to buy one. A friend of mine has recently purchased the exact same guitar and she is really impressed. Everything you said made sense and also filled in the gaps in my knowledge. I also wanted a guitar that I could use without amplification and this ticked the boxes as I have yet to find a travel guitar to fill that void. A big thank you and I have subscribed to your channel 👍
Affordasonic. Great video, given that I bought one yesterday, before seeing your review, I am very pleased you came up with the conclusions that you did. I found the strings too high at first so the nice chap from PMT fitted some lighter weight strings and adjusted the truss rod. It now plays a lot better and I am really happy with it. Once you pick it up its hard to put it down and I am still finding my way around it. I usually play an electric guitar but love this for its acoustic sound without the bulk. Thanks for the review, excellent detail.
Great information from the start, cheers. Is there any reason you didn’t use the acoustic fender 15 w , it seems to be paired with it, lots. Keep up the good work.
Great review thanks. Under £900 now which is very tempting for me. I had a little play in GuitarGuitar a year or so back and loved the light weight, comfort and playability.
I bought this same guitar (only in black) about six months ago. And I'll be honest, I haven't much touched any of my other guitars since I got it. And I have some VERY nice guitars.
The best review of the acoustia Sonic I have seen to date and believe me I have watched many! I like your catchphrase afford-a-Sonic, and I particularly like your observation about the nine volt compared to USB, of gig a lot over my 68 years I couldn't agree more why would you go on stage to do three or four hours show with something that might not be fully charged and up to the job!! Great work great presentation thank you for sharing!!
Affordas! indeed and greetings from Adelaide AUSTralia. I know I'm a year overdue but, nevertheless, I just wanted to acknowledge your so very intelligent, witty and eloquently balanced review. I bought an American model the instant one became available in 2019 and have loved it from day1. I've always played it through the "Normal" channel on my deluxe reverb. I put D'Addario 10's on it to give a bit more of a tele feel. I believe you are based in Austria (lucky you) - may I ask where? Thanks again and all the best with your channel.
Great review, informative and fun to watch!! P.S. Your second-last chord on Roxanne doesn’t sound right. Are you sure? I think it should be more of a sus chord.
Great guitar playing on the intro to the video and a cool walkthrough which makes me wanna get this. Left side the devil voice goes like „oh come on you where fascinated by the American here is the affordasonic - go buy it.“ On the right side the rational voice says „No way it is still 1.200 bucks - think of what you could buy for this money in the future beside feeding the kids.“ So your video will let me day dream because it comes into a price range worth thinking about it.
Great demo and review. Pretty obvious that it should be wired with separate outputs for acoustic and electric. When I build one I will use 2 pups, vol & tone - plus separate acoustic output to go to acoustic pedal and on to PA system. No silly internal electronics for me.
Your verdict hit the spot im a caribbean musician ,I play reggea ,calypso, zouk, and el son cuban music and boleros,im tired dragging 2 guitars around at my gigs ,if only i hade ur fb acc i would send u a short video of my gigs, thanks to fender, ooooh I payed less than 900 us for mine since dec 2023,my other 2 tele strings are run down, dont laugh lol, good review, now i need a good batt powered amp, later
Thank you for the "Affodasonic" review ! I am very interested in this guitar now. I had a Fender acoustic/electric "Santa Rosa" that I bought in the '80's (it was stolen about 15 years ago) and I have been looking for a nice replacement. I think I found it.
Damn it. I was hoping the "End of the video" buzz word was going to be "guitarsenal"! I was anticipating channelling Morecambe & Wise but as far as I'm aware neither Eric or Ernie ever uttered the word "affordasonic"! Great review by the way!
Thanks for this unbiased review. I did check one out at the local guitar shop. I tried the Afordisonic, the American version and also the Jazzmaster . I liked the tele. much better and more comfortable. I have to admit I have a soft spot for telecasters I also totally agree that the beveled cut was awesome. I like the American version better. I found the 5 position version more versatile. I would like the nine volt but l don,t do any live gigs anymore. So not worried about that. If or when the battery goes I,ll take it to the shop. If I,m still around. So it is just something to play and practice around the house and probably some home videos. I will consider a loop and maybe a solid state amp.
A truly excellent review Andy ,Fender should be thrilled on your detailed cover of this interesting guitar , however i'm still on the sidelines , as an acoustic player i still need convincing , however its versatility is very tempting as i am a frontman in a band covering many styles
Great review of the #affordasonic ! Something I’ve been thinking about that no else has mentioned is what the play it through, especially if using the acoustic and electric sounds. I’m pleased that you recommended the Cube over a tube - ‘cause that’s what I would use, either Cube or Roland Acoustic amp. Also think this is better value; I mean with the US version, who needs all those modelled acoustic sounds - but a couple is OK. Cheers!
A great review of this affordasonic Andy. The guitar seems to be a great tool because of its versatility. The piezo shoothout with the taylor definitly shows that the guitar sounds great, maybe a bit duller than the taylor. But for halve the price, very good. However, its not for me, I would prefer a 'real' acoustic because of its acoustic properties not the piezo sounds.
Thanks mate. This wouldn't be my only acoustic style guitar. I noticed that it was a lot duller than the Taylor but that could have been fixed if I had altered the EQ. I didn't but i promise the EQ would have fixed that.
Great demo , really in depth, authentic acoustic plus nice mellow electric tones. One question, I’ve heard the frets on Mexican version are quite sharp at the edges , is this true?
Thanks mate! Amazing review on the #AFFORDASONIC. Was on the fence about the American version but hadnt found a review that looked at the player in the amount of detail I needed and used/discussed a simple live pa or busking setup. Also, hearing your percussive stuff on the player was super helpful, thanks so much for including that! Feeling pretty confident that I'd get a ton of value and fun out of adding one of these to my live gigging setup. Hopefully help inspire some original music as well. Keep doing your thing 🤘 🙏
Thanks for the great review of the Affordasonic. I was curious what you meant about Fender saying NOT to do a setup. I was hoping to try one of these. My local Guitar Center has two of the American Versions, and both had high action and really needed an adjustment. Plus, the strings were old and in need of a change as probably 100+ people have tried it in the store. I left disappointed that I couldn't get a fair try of this instrument. If I got one with the action too high, I would definitely make an adjustment. Can't believe Fender says not to do this.
Great review. Been waiting for a thorough review. My preference is the 3B from the Acoustasonic, actually. I do have a problem with the looks. But, this may be the hybrid I purchase. Thanks again!
Hi Geek, odd name, I am 67, played if a few pub bands for awhile always bass or acoustic, sat at home now, bored in retirement and was considering one of these for home recording and learning a bit of country style electric guitar,.They are about 850 UK Pounds at the moment. Would you recommend or have the production lines changed and they are now not as good. Great video.
@@TheGuitarGeek I'm lucky really. I'm an old man and haven't played 'out' for thirty some years so I have the luxury of allowing my acousics to be acoustic 😊
Fab review. This "affordasonic" guitar seems just what I'm looking for. I have a Telecaster from my gigging days but am looking to busk/single performances. I have bought a street 2 and a PRS A40E acoustic but can't get the sound I want. Having heard this through a street 2 I am sold! Unfortunately will have wait as I have spent all available funds on the amp and the PRS. May consider a trade.
I’ve been hankering after one of these for a little while now, but they’re still a bit too expensive for me. Fender recently knocked 30% off the white and yellow versions (presumably the ones that sell the least) but I really want that lovely burst finish. I was tempted to go for a yellow one but my wife correctly pointed out I’d end up annoyed that I didn’t buy the one I really wanted. So the wait continues… Hurry up and give us a discount on the nice colours Fender! As I’m in the market, I’ve been watching lots of videos about it, and this is probably the most comprehensive I’ve seen. So I joined the end of the video club #affordasonic
Wonderful review! This might be just what I'm looking for. I already own a Fender Acoustisonic 40 Amplifier, which is an acoustic-oriented amp; do you think the Affordisonic would work well with it? (I'm not in a position/location to test it out myself.)
Excellente démonstration de ce que l'Acoustasonic "Mexico" peut faire, ses différences avec la version US. Merci pour votre expertise et votre sincérité
Thanks for the video! I have already bought the American version of Affordacastor. American not so affordable. Kind of wished I waited, I would much rather have the 9volt battery instead of lithium. I am a church musician and wanted a guitar that is easier and more comfortable to play. I was previously playing Martin acoustic/electric concert guitar. I have never played electric so it is a learning experience a much lighter touch, but much easier on my aging hands!
Wonderful review, Andy. I could elaborate why if you'd like, but I appreciate your observations and effort into making this video. Thanks and love from Duluth, Minnesota
Thanks for this great review of the #affordasonic. I'm now really thinking about buying one! Are these electric guitar strings or acoustic guitar strings?
You helped me to decide to invest in this. Everything that you have described, both good and bad, is there in my black affordasonic that arrived just today. I think the thing that struck me most was just how light this is. Okay, in truth I am comparing it to an American Tele, so it is a totally different beast. But my very first thoughts when I held it were, 'This is my guitar. It feels like its mine. It feels part of me'. Ive never had that instant feeling with any other guitar Ive owned. It suits me. It probably won't suit everyone. I would imagine that acoustic players will probably show disdain, but electric guitar players will recognise an instrument that feels familiar to them. In truth, Im still looking for my favourite sound, but I know its there.
This is really great to read! I’m glad I could help you out, it means a lot that you wrote to me. I hope the guitar serves you well and you have many years of making music with it
Great video! I am a acoustic player, who wants an guitar like this, with a Tele style (sound) but for acoustic players! What can you recomend? Best regards Ola 🇸🇪

I've learned a few things from
your review, which I appreciate. I own a Telecaster Affordasonic ( made in Mexico) that I am now
playing.
Thanks Lewis. I had a really fun time with it too.
I have five videos in a row all with this guitar in the thumbnail. This is the one I watched first.
you have NO idea how much that means to me. Thank you Bruce.
I think this one will suffice
@@TheGuitarGeek just keep making good vids and we will keep watching.
#affordasonic
I had the American version, had to sell it…then immediately regretted selling it.
You are making me want one of the Affordasonic guitars! That black one looks stellar. Nice review, Thanks!
Your video helped me pull the trigger on getting one of these. I'm super excited to play around with it on a looper.
This is the best review video on this model i have seen and i've seen everything that i could find.
Affordasonic is something that I thought wouldn't come out so soon after the release of the original models. Im glad they did. These type of guitars have come a long way since the last time I purchased an attempt at a hybrid (39 years ago ).
What was your previous hybrid? Did you like it?
And did you buy the Acoustasonic?
Just curious, I'm really starting to like these kind of guitars :)
@@catloveralways Very interesting! Thank you for sharing!
I’m just a keen Amateur “Home” sofa noodler…& been looking at getting one from the start…
But as you say….”It was too expensive”!!
What I like was “You reviewed what you’ve got”!
Not what it’s not trying to be!!(if you get my drift)
It’s like when ppl review an epiphone les Paul with a Gibson and slag it off!!!
Makes no sense.
(Coz if I could afford a £2/3000 Gibson….I’d get one🤷🏼♂️)
We can’t all afford £££££ so yer get what you can!
I like the guitar for what it is…
Cracking Review!!
Brit reviews are better!!😀👍🏻
I’ll prob get an “Affordasonic”!👍🏻
Cheers.
Great review! Thanks for sharing. I almost bought the American, but you pointing out the Player having a 9V battery convinced me to get it.
GREAT review! I have the 2x8 Streetcube and I'm curious how it will sound through my acoustic amp from Fishman. Mine will be here in the morning. Affordasonic!
Thank you. Just bought this. Not delivered yet. Just did homework and came up with this. And you just made me feel better about my purchase. $1800 Australia. Thanks mate.
I'm saving up to get one of these right now. Thank you for such a deep look into all the modes and feel of the guitar.
Affordasonic! Just ordered one. Can't wait to play it. Thanks for your wonderful review...I am now a subscriber!
Fantastic review covering the features as well as the plusses and minuses! Kudos to Fender for making the Affordasonic 😉
Cheers Dale!
Solid review buddy for this awesome Affordasonic!
Thankyou mate
Never use a bluetooth connection for audio out with an instrument. The latency (delay in the signal) will make playing impossible.
It's no substitute to the harmonics and overtones of mic'ing my Taylor, but it's not too shabby for several uses!
hi Jeff, That is great news. The plugin is superb. Never a replacement for a solo guitar track but definitely better than a DI'd acoustic.
Thanks for the detailed review. I tried one at Guitar Center but was on the fence. Need to research more and this video is helpful
Glad I could help!
I've watched three videos reviewing this guitar and this is the best one.
Great information from the start, cheers. Is there any reason you didn’t use the acoustic fender 15 w , it seems to be paired with it, lots. Keep up the good work.
BEST REVIEW YET ! What about battery life test ? What are the stock string gauges ??? TY What about WEIGHT?
Afordosonic. I really enjoyed this video. The cube and this guitar come across really well Andy. Well done
I'm going to try out a Affordasonic this weekend, i'm bringing my Line 6 Firehawk with me just to find out what it does with my rig. so excited!!
nice vid! keep up the good work.
was that your version of "black water" by doobs? nice
Great review thanks. Under £900 now which is very tempting for me. I had a little play in GuitarGuitar a year or so back and loved the light weight, comfort and playability.
Hello hello! Very nice review. I just ordered one in butterscotch. The price is going down right now too.
I bought this same guitar (only in black) about six months ago. And I'll be honest, I haven't much touched any of my other guitars since I got it. And I have some VERY nice guitars.
Wonder what the street price is in USA??
Hey Evil I think you have the USA version. This is Mexico made
@@roaddog7542 about $1200
@@TheGuitarGeek OOOH yeah, that's the new one with the three way switch... sorry about that. Doesn't change I still love my guitar!
@protec & attac This is actually my first American Fender...
Affordasonic: excellent review. I've been considering a hybrid for my gigs. This one might be a contender!
Affordas! indeed and greetings from Adelaide AUSTralia.
Left side the devil voice goes like „oh come on you where fascinated by the American here is the affordasonic - go buy it.“ On the right side the rational voice says „No way it is still 1.200 bucks - think of what you could buy for this money in the future beside feeding the kids.“
So your video will let me day dream because it comes into a price range worth thinking about it.
Best review of the affordasonic on the net! Congrats 👏👏👏
Affordasonic, yes. Bought this as an option for a hummingbirdish sound due to shoulder problems. Not disappointed Love this guitar
Outstanding review of all the features on this new model. Great presentation !
It took me some time to accept the look of the Affordasonic, but now I'm on the verge of buying one.
Thank you for the "Affodasonic" review ! I am very interested in this guitar now. I had a Fender acoustic/electric "Santa Rosa" that I bought in the '80's (it was stolen about 15 years ago) and I have been looking for a nice replacement. I think I found it.
Affordasonic. I have a 1965 Fender Mustang. Original owner. Great video.
Nice pick! And wow an Affordable Affordasonic! Don’t worry about getting laughed at! The guitar looks great 👍
Form and function blended together in this affordasonic. Great!
Great review, considering to get one, is the output stereo Andy?
Hi Geek, odd name, I am 67, played if a few pub bands for awhile always bass or acoustic, sat at home now, bored in retirement and was considering one of these for home recording and learning a bit of country style electric guitar,.They are about 850 UK Pounds at the moment. Would you recommend or have the production lines changed and they are now not as good. Great video.
Much better sound than the Andertons demo but still not a guitar I could find a space for in my life.
That's a really fair comment. It's a niche product for sure.
Thanks for a great thorough review of the affordasonic
Excellente démonstration de ce que l'Acoustasonic "Mexico" peut faire, ses différences avec la version US. Merci pour votre expertise et votre sincérité
De rien!
I have never played electric so it is a learning experience a much lighter touch, but much easier on my aging hands!
the light touch on this is pretty good.
Another excellent review! Very much enjoy your channel keep going!
Wonderful review, Andy. I could elaborate why if you'd like, but I appreciate your observations and effort into making this video. Thanks and love from Duluth, Minnesota
Thank you Patrick. That means a lot to me
Actually… I’d love for you to elaborate
I hope the guitar serves you well and you have many years of making music with it
Great demo. I only wish you would have given us a demo through a high gain amp. Nobody has really shown that on the electric side.
Video incoming!
I deeply understood this musical instrument through the content of this video.
The Taylor sounded brighter. But the fender sounded good also. Close. Great Video. AFFORDASONIC
Just the review I was looking for regarding the "Affordasonic", covering all aspects of this guitar, Thank you...........
Hey Cameron! You are welcome.
Ryan's Affordaboard vs. Andy's Affordasonic. The showdown of the century!
I can make that happen
Great video!
I am a acoustic player, who wants an guitar like this, with a Tele style (sound) but for acoustic players!
What can you recomend?
