Billiards - How and When to Use English in Pool

Hey, all. So, here's the next video for my series on how to shoot pool. In this video I explain how english (lowercase "e") works and then show you some emergency situations that might come up that call for a bit of trickery.

This video has a lot of good information and I genuinely enjoyed and learned from it as an intermediate pool player. So to those of you complaining about this video as not being your traditional pool video, incorrect terminology, etc. Grow the hell up would ya? It's the least I'd expect from "experienced pool players" but instead I see a lot toxicity.

Its not top spin or bottom spin. Top is called follow, bottom is called draw. Neither top or bottom is called english, only left and right are referred to as english.

I don't think you know anything about real pool, VR pool may be your forte, but it is totally inaccurate to say that left or right spin does not impart curve. While I give you masse and English are not the same, right or left spin does most certainly cause the cue ball to perceptibly curve, while that spin does not affect the object ball in any way, it does cause the cue ball to curve.

there are no *_fenders_* in pool; they're called rails or cushions. and even though there's some useful data in this vid, I really don't like the app U're using that changes the view of the table 'on impact' with the cue ball.
