In their own words, taken from a FB post: 7 Stages of Torah Observance These are the stages of Torah observance for those coming out of non-Torah-observant systems. 1. Anger - caused by spiritual abuse, deception, anemic instruction, conquering ethos, and lies. Work through this phase with slow measure. Do not be quick to attack where you came from, but show how Spirit and grace are ‘supposed to work.’ 2. Arrogance - Learning new ‘truths’ and peeling back the layers of old ‘truths’ can make one proud, quick to judge, and presumptuous. (Original post, This stage we can sometimes be “Torah terrorists”) New discoveries will close the distance between you and YHWH and you and people. It is His presence in OUR midsts that is the goal. Superiority and solitude is not Torah observance. In this phase, it’s vital to our survival to not let the enemy have, once again, our ‘clean house.’ Keep your justice balances true, slow, and quiet. There will be time to ‘shout it from the rooftops.’ 3. Sadness - real grief, hurt, and sadness, is felt for lost time, lost relationships, lost love, and lost confidence. Settle into the sadness. Embrace what is yours and toss what has been forced on you. You have no charge to carry the heavy burdens demanded by others. Lament, wail, repent, and weep with those who weep. Use your hurt to speak healing into others and shorten your healing time. Warning: in this phase you will be vulnerable and suggestible. Be on guard for those who only care to grow their audience or flock or social media following. Also be on guard for covetousness of your neighbors spouse or Torah observing men and women outside of your marital or relational commitments. 4. Exodus- time to prepare, brace yourselves, fix your eyes on Him who leads. This phase takes time. It can feel like wilderness. Stay faithful to the ‘first things’ you have learned in your emergence. Do not easily attach yourselves to a ‘teacher’ or group, or ministry, in this phase, but align yourselves with others who are ‘near’ and of same mind. Many in this phase are still choosing whom they will serve. Only ‘do not follow the crowd in doing wrong.’ 5. Reception - optimal absorption of divine instruction. Father treats all here at differing paces and potencies. The task is not to keep up with others, but to take advantage of the One on one time. The temptation here is to think you’ve ‘arrived,’ but this phase is personally tailored and corporately dependent. Find fellowship, look for the ‘you’ (plural) commands, and seek how you may collectively achieve obedience. 6. First Fruits - In this time of ‘coming into the land’ when you start to get comfortable with who you are. Give back to the One who causes you to walk in His ways. You don’t have to carve out YOUR niche in the influence sphere, but present yourself as a wave offering to YHWH, ask Him, and wait for His desired location and vocation for YOU. 7. Process - It is mission, movement, and making disciples from here. By this stage, you should be kind, patient, and ‘able to teach.’ Your Torah observance is beyond your words and memes and exists in the realm of tangible and verifiable Spirit. You receive instruction and criticism well, and are able to gently correct the brethren. At this stage, it’s easy to slip back in to any of the previous six, but the path should be well worn and the exits clearly marked.
New Covenant Whole Gospel: How many modern Christians cannot honestly answer the first three questions below? Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8, 3:16? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! How is it that you are turning back to those weak and worthless principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? I fear for you, that my efforts for you may have been in vain. Gal 4:8,9
Sabbath is the seventh day that came from the Lord not we choose to observe sabbath or rest day pls study the life of the discples how they obey the commandment first and the second century disciples like polycarp of smyrna how they observed the feasts and down to 2 and 3rd century how the true disciples follow the comnandment of the LORD.and then in the 4th century constantine favored those who dont want anything that comes from jewish traditons. And catholic was born and different teaching came, popes veneration of the saints were taught purgatory etc. now in the 16th century came the protestant under martin luther there was a separation but other teachings were carried by the protestant the same their rest day or sabbath still sunday and dietary laws are not observed. Lately we understand that the rest day is seventh day which is based on the scripture, the dietary laws are to be observed which also based on the bible. We are not doing these for salvation purposes we do these things for sanctification dont get me wrong im saying this in my personal opinion. I am saved bh grace through faith in jesus christ (eph 2:8-9) whats wrong of following the true sabbath the dietary laws the feast? And how right to do them. Maybe christians shoud ask themselves why do they dont do the same. Let us all remember that Jesus Christ was a jew he kept the sabbath and he did not eat pork and unclean food. We are saying we follow the Mesiah or Jesus Christ why dont we do the things that theLord Jesus Christ did and the disciples did? Pls consider these things. Thanks
Does that mean God was wrong when he said an exodus 34:16-17 that his commandment to keep his Seventh-Day Sabbath would be a never-ending perpetual covenant to be kept for all generations forever till the end of time?
I think you have the wrong passage. That's not what it says. Besides that, the Torah was for the Israelites to observe, and the Torah was fulfilled by Jesus.
@@CyborgNinja7 You are right. I was referring to Exodus 31:16-17. You are also right that the Torah is for the Israelites to observe, but what you may not know is that all Christians are Israelites, according to Romans 11. It teaches that the gentile Christians were grafted into Israel. Can you elaborate on what you mean by the Torah was fulfilled by Jesus? I know that there were many prophecies from the Torah that were fulfilled by Jesus, but I failed to understand how that has any relevance to obeying God’s commandments. Especially a perpetual, never ending one.
@@cameronstolhand7149 you hit the right spot with that Cameron. God's perpetual commandments were exactly the reason why Jesus had to come, so we could understand we need to keep them 'for all our generations'. It wasn't supposed to stop with the death of our Messiah. Christianity is so desperately trying to shut down the keeping of all these commandments that it doesn't realize THESE are exactly what we need to survive, as all these new genre ideology are being brought about today. God is eternal and so are his commandments.
How do you reconcile the same statement to Deuteronomy 28? The people broke every law, after the Sinai covenant …God said these curses will be against you “forever”…
👎No offense, but you misinterpreted nearly every passage of Scripture you cited. For example: The "day" being spoken about in Romans 14:5 isn't talking about the Sabbath, or any other "day" outside the context of *EATING.* And, Colossians 2 is talking about not being judged for *CELEBRATING* (literally: eating and drinking) while taking part in the Sabbath and Holy days. Also, the word "substance" (or "reality") that you cited from Colossians 2:17 is completely made up by the translators. Here is the correct translation/interpretation of Colossians 2:16-17 - Let no man therefore judge you for eating and drinking, either while partaking in an holyday, New Moon, or Sabbath days - which are a shadow of things to come - but the body of Christ, _which is the Church._ The bottom-line is this: Contrary to your assertions, Yeshua (Jesus) did NOT give us the "freedom" to disregard one of the very Commandments that God spoke like thunder and wrote in stone. The Seventh Day Sabbath is, and will always be, a SIGN between God and His people. And, yes, it most certainly matters what day the Sabbath is kept, just like it matters on what finger a woman wears her wedding ring on. Otherwise, it will defeat it's purpose! Ezekiel 20:20 HCSB Keep My Sabbaths holy, and they will be a sign between Me and you, so you may know that I am the LORD your God. Shalom
Colossians 2 is spoken to people who were keeping Sabbath and New Moon Festivals. It was saying don't let others judge you for keeping them, lol. Romans 14 is about what day they should fast. Why are you twisting these verses out of context?
Right off the bat this video is terribly flawed. Matthew 28 clearly shows Yeshua rose from the grave just before sundown on what we call Saturday not Sunday morning. It also explains that early in the first day of the week is actually the closing of Sabbath at or just before sundown Saturday. This makes sense when we see in Acts 20 that Paul preached late into the night and a boy fell asleep and fell out of the window. This is just one example of why we should study TORAH and understand GOD's ways and understand what laws might apply to our lives even as Gentile believers today. Paul clearly taught the importance of TORAH and how it shows us Sin.
Call us cultists. Paul was the ringleader. I will never understand why people call me names, and then wonder why I separate myself from them. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 [14]Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? [15]And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16]And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17]Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, [18]And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. This references Hosea. It's speaking of the House of Israel. Hosea 1:9-11 [9]Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God. [10]Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God. [11]Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel. This is prophecy, and hasn't happened yet. Hebrews 8:6-12 [6]But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. [7]For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. [8]For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: [9]Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. [10]For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: [11]And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. [12]For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Better promises, not a different contract. Same law, but written in a different place. Where was a covenant made with gentiles? Ephesians 2:11-22 [11]Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; [12]That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: [13]But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. [14]For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; [15]Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; [16]And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: [17]And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. [18]For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. [19]Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; [20]And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; [21]In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: [22]In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. It's still talking about bringing the two houses together.
(Gentile here) I think I get it. If someone tells me that they have a new Jesus, I would say they are cultists. Up until Jesus came along, there would have been plenty of people falsely claiming to be the true Messiah. When the Messiah finally DID show up, people were on their guard and a bit paranoid. Sadly, they ended up missing him in and effort to not miss him. It would require patience and sharing Scriptures to explain that Jesus really did fulfill all the prophecies, as required.
@@steprockmedia If I choose to call Him Yeshua, would that be a new Jesus? While there are some crazy people out there, the majority of the "Hebrew Roots" people aren't saying that calling Him Jesus is a sin. I prefer to call Him Yeshua just like I call my friend Jorge (Horhay) instead of George because that is his name. I don't speak Spanish, but I love him as a brother. I am going to briefly explain what most (not all) of the Hebrew Roots believe. This won't be exhaustive, because that would be a very long comment. I will write this from my perspective, even though I am not part of Hebrew Roots. In a nutshell, they believe that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to receive Salvation. Jesus didn't do away with the law given to Moses by God. There are aspects of the law that are impossible to be kept, but if it applies to you then you should keep it. Men can't keep the laws that were for women. There is no temple, so animal sacrifice can't be done. The main contention between them and Christians are a few simple laws that still apply to a believer. Dietary laws still stand. Sabbath is still valid. We become part of Israel through Jesus. Scripture has been twisted to say that we can eat anything we want. Peter's vision was simply a metaphor to show him that he was wrong in how he viewed gentiles. Peter interprets the vision in exactly that way. Even the verses that people use from Paul are self explanatory if we read carefully. An example would be when he says nothing is to be refused if it's received with thanksgiving. The next verse says for it is sanctified by the Word of God and prayer. Leviticus 11 is the Word of God, and it says some animals aren't food. There are other verses that people use, but those are the two most used. Romans 14 is talking about vegans and fasting, not pork and the Sabbath. The Word never tells us that the Sabbath could be done whenever we wanted. Just because Paul and the others met on the first day of the week doesn't do away with, or change the Sabbath. It doesn't matter what church history says, it only matters what the Word of God says. When Jesus says come unto me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest; the Greek word for rest is not the word used for Sabbath. He is speaking of rest from the guilt of your sin, not cancelling Sabbath. When Paul is telling believers not to let anyone judge them in respect of anything, it makes more sense that he was telling them not to let anyone judge them FOR keeping Sabbath/God's Feasts/Dietary laws. When we keep these things, everyone judges us; pagan and Christian alike. I find that verse very comforting in my walk. I've been called a cult leader by people I love for keeping these things, even though I never said they had to do it. Thank God that my immediate family understands these things. We do not follow replacement theology. We do not take the place of God's people, but are grafted into God's people. Adopted. We are part of Israel; not because of our blood, but because of His. God has one people; Israel. Israel is made up of twelve tribes. Those tribes were separated into two houses after Solomon. Northern House of Israel, and Southern House of Judah. There are prophecies that they will be brought back together by the Messiah. The New Covenant is made with the two houses. The House of Israel was divorced, and couldn't return to God according to God's law. Deut. 24->Jer. 3->Romans 7. Paul gets revelation on how they can return. He is talking about them being released from one law, not all of God's laws. He specifically mentions the law of the husband. That law. Also see Isaiah 56. Anyone who keeps God's laws can come into the family. Forgiveness is by Jesus, but then we should go and sin no more. 1 John 2 tells us what happens if we make a mistake. A mistake is different than rebellion. I am not trying to convince anyone of anything. I do believe that people should actually study and test what we believe before labeling us as heretics. The bereans tested what Paul said, rather than just thinking they knew better. Sorry for such a long comment, but this is only scratching the surface. We do not believe we can earn our own salvation. Is obedience a salvation issue? If murder is a salvation issue, then so is Sabbath. Jesus said that if we love Him, we will keep His commands. Would the opposite not be true? I believe that Jesus is God, and therefore gave all of the commands.
Well said!

Thanks
Well put. Thank you!
@@cameronstolhand7149 no.
Here is the correct translation/interpretation of Colossians 2:16-17 -
Let no man therefore judge you for eating and drinking, either while partaking in an holyday, New Moon, or Sabbath days - which are a shadow of things to come - but the body of Christ, _which is the Church._
The bottom-line is this: Contrary to your assertions, Yeshua (Jesus) did NOT give us the "freedom" to disregard one of the very Commandments that God spoke like thunder and wrote in stone.
I like your video and you are beautiful ❤️
Call us cultists. Paul was the ringleader. I will never understand why people call me names, and then wonder why I separate myself from them.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18
[14]Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
[15]And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
[16]And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
[17]Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
[18]And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
This references Hosea. It's speaking of the House of Israel.
Hosea 1:9-11
[9]Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
Hebrews 8:6-12
[6]But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
[7]For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
[8]For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
[9]Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
[10]For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
[11]And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
[12]For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Better promises, not a different contract. Same law, but written in a different place. Where was a covenant made with gentiles?
Ephesians 2:11-22
[11]Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
[12]That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
[13]But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
[14]For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
[15]Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
[16]And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
[17]And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
[18]For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
[19]Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
[20]And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
[21]In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
[22]In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Messianic Judaism isn't Judaism
Jesus Christ is our true rest those who come to Him find real eternal rest. If you think a day does that you need Jesus
