Steve has a real way of helping us to realign our thinking biblically especially on issues like this that have overcome many dispensational fellowships so we do not lose our biblical worldview which is in Christ alone. Looking forward to Part 2.

Steve, i have a question. Maybe you have a teaching on this. But i have wondered for a long time what technically is a “jewish” race?? It seems to be an amalgamation of many races. For instance, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were Babylonian. Joseph married Egyptian and Manasseh and Ephraim were half Egyptian. The other brothers and descendants probably intermarried Egyptian too. Then after the exodus many in the tribes intermarried with those in Canaan and the surrounding areas. Then they went to babylon and must have intermarried there too. Since 70AD the jews intermarried with all the countries they went too. Today most who call themselves Jewsish are actually Slavic. So, i don’t understand what a Jewish race even means. Ethnically a jew would be a Hebrew which would be Babylonian.

Steve talks of a "parentheses" that is the church age, which is a bald face lie, but a parentheses exists. It was from Moses to Christ. God deals with humans, nothing more. Race is nothing to him. His pursuit of sons was put on hold until He came to begin again with the cross for all men equally. The jews were just a tool to preserve the history of his dealings with mankind. They were his people for that purpose alone. For this he gave them many privileges which they snuffed at in their self glorification. As you point out, Abe was not a jew, the one they call father of all. the children of Adam are all equal. consider that Jesus was not a Jew, if he was in fact the son of God who is not a jew. Who was Jesus mother?? God was the sole factor in his own birth, a zygote placed in Mary the surrogate was not off any race of men but of god alone. Who was Adam's mother???

Thanks again Steve. Love your teachings. It’s true our identity is Christ alone, not the flesh with all its racial and cultural distinctions. Too many evangelicals ignore the passages that confirm the law of Moses was only given to Israel. The Hebrew people explicitly thanked God for not giving the law to the gentiles but only to them. Of course they were being prideful and unaware of the impossibility of keeping it. Why did God give them the law? To prepare them as a chosen people, by a schoolmaster, for Christ their messiah whom they were supposed to share with the world. But they denied their calling and clung to the law instead. That old law was never intended for the world and definitely not for the church. What are we told in Galatians 5:4, you who are trying to be justified by the law have fallen from grace. Even worse, the Jewish Roots movement is mistakenly mixing law and grace and spreading horrible heresy.

"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” *He redeemed us so that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus,* so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit." Galatians 3:13-14.
"Before this faith came, we were held in custody under the Law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the Law became our schoolmaster to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." Galatians 3:23-25.
"What I mean is this: *The law that came 430 years later does not revoke the covenant previously established by God, so as to nullify the promise.* For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God freely granted it to Abraham through a promise." Galatians 3:17-18.
"So also Christ did not take upon Himself the glory of becoming a high priest, but He was called by the One who said to Him: “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.” And in another passage God says: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 5:5-6.
*"Now if perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on this basis the people received the law), why was there still need for another priest to appear--one in the order of Melchizedek and not in the order of Aaron?" Hebrews 7:11.*
"Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may rest on grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring--not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all." Romans 4:16.
"Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.” Acts 15:10-11.

    Steve, you speak the truth.
I have come to believe that we are presently experiencing Revelation 20 verses 7-9 but the end of verse nine is yet to occur [ only the Father knows how long ] .
Deception is the name of the game and the enemy is deceiving people on a gigantic scale. In ALL fields and beliefs and genre and class and nations, etc, etc.

@@mikeakznsky5485 I cannot 'make' you believe but the bible is the word of God to the world.
The history of both the old & the new testaments have thousands of witnesses. I am an historian and can give a plethora evidence for it's existence over the time of the several millennia it was compiled.
However getting to the point of your scripture verses I can easily explain to you.
      Matthew 16:28
"Verily/truly I say unto you, there be some standing here that shall not taste of death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."
      Mark 9:1
"And He said to them, Verily I say unto you that there be some of them that stand here which shall not taste of death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power."
      Luke 9:27
'But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here that will not taste of death til they see the Kingdom of God."
What many do not understand is that the Kingdom of God / heaven is eternal & already exists outside of space & time but within this time of our current world.
What Jesus had told them actually came true at 70 AD when He took the keys of the kingdom from the apostate & rebellious Jews & gave it to a nation producing the fruit of it. Read Matthew 23, Jesus tell the pharisees & elders exactly this.
This other nation is also a spiritual existence of the body of Christ - the believers are one nation whether passed on into glory or still upon this earth and exists within the Kingdom of God.
The kingdom is a spiritual kingdom but still operates over this earth.
Where as in the old covenant it operated from Jerusalem & the physical Temple from the nation of ancient Israel.
Read Deuteronomy chapters 28-31 the blessing or the curses if they obeyed God's voice or disobeyed.
      Jesus said in Luke 17:20-21
"When He was demanded by the pharisees when the kingdom of God should come. He answered them and said the kingdom of God comes NOT with observation.
Neither will they say look here or look there for the kingdom of God is within you."
So that's how Jesus taught them & that's what came about.
      John 18:36
"My kingdom is not of this world/kosmos. If my kingdom was of this world then my servants/disciples would fight that I should not be delivered to the Jews. But now my kingdom is not from hence/here."
We need to see with spiritual eyes & hear with spiritual ears.
      John 3:12
"If I tell you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you spiritual things."
All these scriptures were written in the 1st century to the audience it was spoken to.
      Matthew 24
"This generation will not pass till all these thins be fulfilled."
      Mark 13
      Luke 21
"All these things will come upon this generation."
      John 8:51
Jesus is talking here, not of the flesh but of the soul & spirit.
Because the flesh is destined to die and that's why the Christians look forward to the last day of this world/kosmos and the resurrection of the dead body, both of the righteous & unrighteous.
For we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
The souls of the dead believer is in paradise now.
The souls of the dead unbeliever and unrepentant are in Hades now awaiting the great white throne judgment.
      Believe it or not!
      Matthew 18:19
If any two ask in my name....
This of course must be understood from God's righteous ways & judgments.
God is not some fairy that just grants wishes, willy nilly.
I don't know if you are a father or not Mike but if you are, would you give your child anything that they demand?
      Same context.
I do know over the years God has said or taught to me; Yes - No - Wait.
We still live in this sinful & wicked would with freewill & choices because that's what LOVE does. It gives everyone freewill until the last day.

I think the movement to some groups is about a special place Israel will have in a millenium here on earth when Jesus returns with the saved gentiles? At that time the Jews will turn as a nation to Jesus and that they will have special assignments ( government employees?)with Jesus to see to it that laws go as they should in the entire world.

People are listening to the wrong people and Jesus warned and warned yet all go down the same road.
Jesus was not Jewish he was sent by ABBA FATHER in heaven to the entire WORLD not 1% of it. Thirty eight times he told us this fact. Of those born of women none is greater than John the Baptist? Think about that was John greater than Jesus? What is a monogene and what is a firstborn? Are they the same things nope. There were two Jesus one sent and one born, the one born in the earthly realm speaks of earthly things and the one sent from heaven speaks of heavenly things. The real one was sent. not born.
John 1:9 The true light that ENLIGHTENS EVERYONE WAS COMING INTO THE WORLD.
Joh 1:10 [FOR CONTEXT THIS IS ABOUT THE WORLD NOT ONE GROUP OF PEOPLE] in THE WORLD he was, and THE WORLD through him was made, and THE WORLD DID NOT KNOW HIM:
John 1:11 Mechanical [John 1: 11 Mechanical] TO THEM, THE SAME (THE WORLD) HE CAME AND THESE SAME (THE WORLD) RECEIVED HIM NOT. [NOT He came to his own]
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name:
John 1:13 WHO WERE BORN NOT OF BLOOD [MEANING A SPECIAL RACE] , nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Not in my experience. I've debated with many who say otherwise. I have a family member who was deeply into this movement who tried to keep Torah as requirement of God. She talked several times about what a burden it was. I referred her to Matthew 11:30 " For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” and Acts 15:10-11 "Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? Names are what they are. Ji Jinping hasn't been translated into Jimmy Jinping. Jesus' name has been changed from what it was by first the Greeks and then the Roman's to a Latin transliteration. I don't see peoples historical names changed except by what's been done with Biblical characters.

So not shaving your beard or trimming your hair a certain way? If you have a wound do you isolate yourself ? How far do you take it. Everyone draws the line in different places. The levitical priesthood is irrelevant because there are no sacrifices. And the lack of a temple has nothing to do with it. Obviously because of Jesus sacrifice. Hence Hebrews. Don’t go back to that and deny Jesus. Those sacrifices are trash in comparison. That was the whole point. I mean seriously. Where do you draw the line. Your understanding of messianic isn’t automatically correct and everyone else is wrong. Many Jewish people think including Jewish believers in Jesus think non Jews behaving like Jewish people is completely ridiculous. Observing the feast days? Sure. But not if they do it on their own. Do it with Jewish people to make sure it’s right and enjoy the blessing of it. But to behave in a culture which isn’t your own and to say it’s obligatory to non Jews they say is ridiculous. And I understand why. The Bible says neither Jew nor gentile. And people love that quote. But conveniently leave out the rest. Neither male nor female. Neither free nor slave. It doesn’t erase distinction. It erases discrimination. No cast or class. All have the same right. Not all have the same culture. Or role. Which is why Paul specifically said do not become circumcised if you aren’t. Do not become Jewish. Don’t convert to Judaism. That’s not the gospel. It’s not become Jewish to follow Jesus because all followers should be Jewish.

Greek language doesn’t have “sh” sound, thus Saul, Ieosus, Samuel etc. I wonder which nation after the fall of Israel, were nice to true believers, didn’t persecute true Bible teachers? Jews are bad because they have persecuted Prophets, Jesus, Apostles? So if it was God’s purpose for Yeshua to offer Himself as a blood offering, if He came to any other nation they would treat Jesus differently?
There are some Jewish believers, that are theologically and behaviourally off, but what about Gentile believers and churches, that are so out of mind and even the biggest churches.
All believers are saved in Yeshua by grace through faith and become one body in Messiah. Anyone claiming otherwise, keeping the Law, Rabbinic law, or elevates his/her Jewishness had departed from the Scriptures.
