FYI they don't come fully built, this is due to the crate size. Obviously the bulk of the machine is together but the tires and other hub pieces are left off to fit into the square crate.
The loose bolt issue is the installer at the dealership that puts the rest of the machine together before it hits the showroom. I have met a number of these guys. Some are mechanics who are very tedious and some are just installers 18 years old doing it as a summer job and not so meticulous.
This assemble at the dealership is an issue at most dealerships and this is why they tell you to check every bolt you can see when you buy any atv dirtbike utv crotchrocket Harley naked cruiser what have you. Cars are the only vehicle fully assembled and delivered from the factory.

I have a 2019 XMR-850 and I found mine were loose too. I got mine brand new and found them on my first walk around. (I'm a mechanic) The factory must have the same guy installing these. 😊 Nice catch. "Ride Hard an Be Safe" MN Bill

Yep. I have a 22' Outy 650 XT and the left side sway bar bushing bolts were observed to be loose about a month and a half ago. I was just greasing it as well and noticed it. Took the bolts out, cleaned them and used some blue lock tight. Haven't had any issues since. Cheers!

2021 outlander 1000r here. Accidentally stumbled across this video while looking up how to content. I actually found the first one myself while greasing the zerk fitting. Bought a 2022 Outlander 650 XT last October and had the same issue. Noticed it immediately when I got home with it and tightened them up. Another common issue is the winch switch is wired backwards, or the cable is wound the wrong way.
    -edit-
just remembered that my fuel pump also died under 100 miles, but I was out of warranty. $400 for the whole assembly from Can Am. Replaced the factory Chinese pump with a $50 Japanese pump.

So between that and the only dealer near me for hours is brutally bad, I won't buy one. I can't justify driving 3 hrs when service is needed because my close dealer is shady.

my 19 1000 outlanders sway bar bolts were loose too, so I got rid of the sway bar...problem solved. I want my suspension to do what it was designed to do which is articulate and move around, not like im circle track racing it so its really a non issue and i also cut the rear one out.

@@johnsoff-road its much more supple over bumps, ruts, n stuff but I dont take corners at speed for obvious reasons, if i do it will lean to the outside hard and lift the inside front tire. Off camber hill climps it tends to be a bit more squirrley but those are quirks that i knew were going to come with taking the sway bars off. Overall I think its much more nible out in the bush.

Every brand has their issues but overall in the 4 Can-Am’s I’ve owned I’ve had no issues that weren’t caused by me. I’ve had a 2010 650, 2020 650, 2021 850 and 2023 1000 XMR. All have been the Max chassis. I wouldn’t own another brand of quad. I know the sub 650 models prior to 2023 are a completely different machine so maybe that has something to do with it.

@johnsoff-road I get that. You could buy a new Cadillac and have it break down. My biggest issue has been customer service, or that lack there of. I was sold a lemon that I paid cash for and no one at the company or the dealership cares.

@@johnsoff-road so I finally got my new 2022 Can Am outlander 850xt out of my truck and on the ground and before my maiden voyage I checked the bolts on both sides and not only were they all a little bit loose but when I tightened the top one on the side with the foot brake the head of the bolt and a few of the threads came right out and it was barely snug. Really soft bolts. I went for my first ride anyway as I was pumped up to go and then pissed off that this happened. 72.2 kms. My question now is how safe is it to drive it like this? Can I wait until the break in service to get it fixed?
