As now an old man who grew up never knowing a father, it was my older brother who assumed that role. He passed of agent orange cancer in 2002. He was my motorcycle buddy. We rode a lot together. Had a couple hundred motorcycles escorting him to the grave. It was tough on me, I sold my motorcycle as I could not ride without tears and loneliness on my motorcycle. That was 2002. Years later in 2013, I decided it was time to ride again and I purchased a Goldwing. No tears, however, I say I ride alone and I do 99.9% of the time. However, there is an angel that rides with me every mile. There is not a single ride that is lonely as I reminisce and think about my brother and our times spent together. For he is with me in spirit and I smile knowing he’s there with me every mile. That day will come for you as well and may you enjoy every mile your Dad rides with you. God bless you and your family

Your dad was very important to you and I'm glad that you were able to take the time to tell us how challenging it is. I can only imagine that that wasn't your first attempt to say something to us. He left big shoes to fill and if I can be half the man he was that would be a great accomplishment. Over these years I've grown to be much like him and you can see that in yourself as well, not a bad thing at all. Life is hard but you have his example to carry you through. Use it. That's what he left it for.

With some of these bloggers, you can't tell if they even have a family. Pain of loss is a sign of how much you really loved him and the relationship you had. You will always have a "point" of sorrow when you think of him; that's actually a good thing. I loss my father 12 years ago, and from time to time I reflect on the times we had. I loss my mother in May, and the same fellings (pain) exist. IT IS CALLED LOVE. Grieving is good. Anyway, take your time and grieve. It's your life, you don't have to explain yourself. If someone is "concerned that you don't make videos, it's none of their business. You make them when you are ready. I actually could tell his time was near in one of your previous videos.
