I changed the air filter at 60k miles on my 2008 wing here in Dallas. It was a little dirty but not horrible. Unless you ride in really dusty conditions, I wouldn’t change it any sooner. Next time I’ll wait to do it in another 75,000 miles. I also changed all the fluids, spark, plugs, steering head bearings and rebuilt the forks at 60k. It was quite a job and took me 30 days, but worth it! Merry Christmas, and love the new car!
Merry Christmas to you and your family Mo. My last purchase from a dealer I trusted completely. He was a Brother Mason who owned it and he would tell his sales staff what to do. I got my 2003 FLHTpi already converted back to civilian use, no extra charges, huge discount on top of that plus huge parts and accessory discounts for 2 years. I also got cream of the crop choice.
Riding on Christmas! I’m sitting here in Florida. Missing my bike. I bought my 05 a few years ago at North end cycle in Elkhart. The bike has been very good to me so far, so has north end. I had an electrical issue and the Honda shop in Knoxville Tennessee couldn’t seem to fix it when I made it back home, North End fixed it in less than an hour. I suppose it’s time to get the brake oil changed and the air filter. I can do the rest myself, but I’ll have them tackle it in the spring when I get back home.
That car is so baller Congrats and ive been so happy owning my new to me 2005 GL1800 i bought it with 12k miles 2 months ago and its been an absolute dream of a ride.
Not all dealerships are "Stealer Ships," but based on my experiences, a rather high number seems to be the case for those "Streler Ships" by many on various MC forums I contribute to. Have a safe Ride, and may the New Year bring you more joy on the GW! BTW, I do most of my maintenance on both of my GWs. I had horrible experiences almost every time a dealership did something on my GW.
Hi Mr Mo's this is one of your friend on TH-cam I was just checking on you haven't seen any new video hope all is well like I said just you all have a wonderful day may my name is Tommy
Thanks, Tommy. Yes, all is well. I get the winter blues, and it gets hard, not riding thru the winter. Plus, I'm still recovering from my father's passing. That was the hardest part. I will be getting back on the horse and making some new content over the next couple weeks. Got to do a brake bleed on my bike so that will be another video. I really appreciate all my subscribers. Be safe and thanks for checking in.
Hi Mr Mo's this is Tommy thanks for answer my glad all well I understand how about you losing your father I lost my mother last year in May God bless you and family looking forward to seeing more videos so keep doing what you doing maybe we will get a chance to make a ride one day I have a wonderful Bliss
I don’t trust the dealers. One dealer charged me $125 .00 to replace a valve stem and $9.00 For the valve stem that I bought there . Another dealer change the tire out for me and ovetork it with an impact that it made it nearly impossible to remove on the next tire change Now I do all my service work myself
Mi Mo. Merry Christmas to you as well. Just a thought for you. Salt hates aluminum. If they salted the road over on your side of the state as they have here in Redford, I would not be out. The salt dust can get in places you cant imagin and you start seeing white on the aluminum on the engine. Also, until 2019, the rims were left uncoated. Love the channel. Ride safe
Nice video Mo. Happy and prosperous New Year. Congratulations on your new whip. No I don’t trust my dealership. I was going to do a video on their lack of credibility but it might harm me in the future since their are a franchise that surrounds me.
What you normally see is a X ....X point inspection. If the oil is full it's good, coolant full then it's good ect. Nothing says it was changed. Went for a Christmas day ride myself. Of course it took a 30 mile trip to run up town and back but.... what the hell; It's Christmas.
Hi Mr Mo's how are you and your family Merry Christmas just touching baseI watched your video al the time looking at this one now where you went riding for Christmas and happy New Year to you all..
I agree don’t trust them. I paid for them to change my brake fluid, got home tested the fluid and the tester went crazy. When I confronted them they tried to deny it. The tech came back and said he forgot

Agreed. Don't trust them. Have discovered that also. Thought I could, but was mistaken.

If Anyones lips are moving at a Dealership they are 100% Lying. If you need consoling, confiding, a friend, advice or the truth go to church.👍👍
