Mo, I agree with what the others are saying. I'm very glad that you are safe and were able to make this video reminding us to be cautious. I pray that God continues to watch over you as you ride.
Interesting video. Just purchased a 2012 Wing. As I was driving back to Mobile Alabama from Biloxi in I-10 tonight the sight of a big deer on the side of the road was enough to open my eyes a bit wider. Never know when they will just bolt into the road. Stay safe bud. And keep the videos coming. Thank you.
You don't have them around you but up here in the thumb we have sugar beet trucks and the beets will fall off occasionally. Early last fall I had one bounce off at about 30 mph going the opposite direction and sideswipe my windshield. It bowed it in and cracked it around the vent but didn't break it thankfully. Good to see you again and hope you and the wife are well.

Glad to hear your both okay. Stabilize the bike and brace for impact if something isn't avoidable.... It's all we can do. I'm thinking about a dash cam myself... A good investment for the future.
I agree with you Mo, when you see something like that, that is unavoidable. You do need to brace yourself for stability. By instinct, I know I would have done the same exact thing.

Hi mo, beautiful blue sky there,lucky it didn’t hit your bike head on.. I had a big bird (kite) strike me month ago, big bruise on my right arm for weeks. Split second and it’s happens, yes dash cam is worth it, I have one. Suctioned onto the right of screen, I installed volt meter on right side of bike, with 2 usb power ports, powers my dash cam now.wired to auxiliary ports next to battery.🇬🇧👍

i’ve seen a couch fall out a pick up truck while driving an 18 wheeler, mexicans looked back and never stopped they boogied .
Last weekend I was riding with my gf and I hit a deer. The deer had perfext timing and struck me right at the front tire.
Talk about sit second decision..I couldnt say nothing to my gf, and I braced the handle bar..I went slightly airborne and ran the deer over. My gf though I went over a log. Thank god I did not panic but being a n experience rider like yourself, I made it thru.
The Goldwing is the best two up bike ever.
I have tons of dash cam on my bike just for safety reason.

Two weeks ago, I took a buddy from Dallas to Arkansas on his first big ride. He just bought a 2023 DCT Goldwing tour the week before. He went off the road and jumped someone’s driveway then landed in the ditch on the other side. Luckily he didn’t break any bones and only had minor injuries. Bike has 800 miles and it’s totaled. I think the heat and being so exhausted got to him. I feel bad for pushing him past his limits
Praise God for traveling mercies and that is why we pray for it God has covered you and may he continue to as we ride these beautiful machines Amen
