Not even just punishing a missed back air, he punished a mistake, you can see it on PPMD's face when he gets punished, because he wanted to put out a forward air instead, which would've hit. All it took was one mistake for Armada to win the game. Idk how PP got a back air though
It looks to me like he tried to fade back fair but hit A too late and got bair. I'm probably wrong tho cause I'm not sure why he wouldn't use C stick.
When you realize both these players are now inactive.

12:38 - 12:54 was one of the best things I've ever seen. 0-death comeback from behind. Armada's Peach Punish game is absolutely unrivaled, I love seeing it and its sad that it isn't gonna be around as much.
That was actually horrible, horrible DI from PP. He made a lot of noob mistakes that game.
I’m from the distant year of 2017. His Peach is still here we all over reacted.

I watched it at .25 speed like you said, that was poetry. The WDOOS from Armada to reclaim space, the sticky walk and wall of ariels from PP, that's some high level Melee.
PPMD has quite the interesting mentality. Since The Big House 3, he never seems to get angry.

Quite possibly my favorite set from Apex. It really showcased exactly how amazing PP's movement is, as well as being an amazingly close set in a matchup we rarely see. Even with a match that went past the 6 minute mark, it felt incredibly fast paced.

Although Peach is right next to Marth on the tier list, this MU is really rough for Peach. Not for Falco, though, that's even. Its amazing how a player like Armada has won several nationals and placed really well using a character that almost has problems with everyone in top/high tier apart from Icies. If Armada didn't exist, I'd bet Peach wouldn't be where she is today.

meowmastr123 Armada switching to Fox was no random event, he had been thinking about it for a long time and practiced it incredibly much locally. He just didn't want to reveal it to early

The micro situations between these two players are absolutely immaculate. True God level play, to say the least.

He did a moonwalk. As Marth, to moonwalk you have to start from a walk. At least for a noticeable one anyway, and pp did a walk to the left right before that dash where he doesn't move.

Dammit, armada. You do make it look so hard but you're just clearly superior on this match. Best peach player out there.

Please focus on your punishes, but don't forget the neutral. I can't count how many times I see you F-Air people off-stage instead of go for a D-Air, F-Smash, U-Tilt, or otherwise that could have killed. You got this.

12:18...PP does moonwalk into Smash 4 extended dash dance, into moonwalk again. Uses moonwalk all throughout this set, to mix up his dash dances. Genius...
+Megacake Meltdown That was actually just a bunch of wavdash canceled dashes. It's usually called cactar dashing I think.
+Megacake Meltdown Because Marth's dash is so fast and his wavedash so long, he can actually carry momentum from his dashes into a wavedash or vise versa. If you wavedash backwards and then dash forwards you get a really confusing looking slow dash. That's all he was doing. Moonwalking doesn't have all the smoke.

Suuuper late, but no he wasn’t hated! People actually liked him even back then, it’s just that everyone was in PPMD’s corner and really wanted to see him succeed! So there wasn’t any hate towards armada, just an abundance of support to PP

Even now with Fox, who he doesn't have much experience with, he's wrecking so many people. Shine spikes never looked so beautiful. I get bored of Foxes but not his...

Falcon probably wins a bit on FD and a lot on Dreamland. Fountain is probably significantly in Marth's favor, Pokemon is probably a bit in Falcon's favor. I don't know about YS, probably preference, and Battlefield is probably roughly even.
idk i don't play either character enough. but falcon can ruin marth's life if he gets him in the air. marth really really can't get down easily at all and off of grab falcon can keep him up there forever.
Uhh nobody can reaction techchase "easy", not even sheik, it's one of the hardest things in the game. Falcon has VERY guaranteed uthrow followups. He also lives forever and Marth struggles killing at higher percents, whereas Falcon can kill Marth quite early. Falcon can also be very tricky with his recovery and if the Falcon has good DI Marth struggles to cover recover high.
PPMD is always very very measured on his movement.

Why does Armada not drop from Peach's parasol when he is returning back to stage? He always floats in towards the other player and gives the opponent a perfect set up. Happens atleast a dozen times in this set.

A very interesting battle I must say. Dr.PeePee (Oh lord, such a funny name) was on the point of his sword that day. We were both simply trying to gather crucial information in order to beat Alliance Armada. It seems that it helped out later on ;)
