I run Braiins OS+ and Noctua fans on all my s9's. one 140mm 3000rpm with 3d printet adapter on the front, and no fan on the back and no back stop/fan mount bracket. 8-10 TH and under 80
W / Ths and about 75-80c temp
make a video
How is that doing on NH I seen you were mining there?
0.88 cents a day. After electric... not good. Solo mine, or run 2 boards per s9, under or around 650w, and lottery mine
0.000025 BTC a day ish
Is that still profitable today??
I'm new to crypto... was thinking about getting either iPollo V1 mini but man... this is alot cheaper on ebay.... going run my energy bill up tho :/
Or better yet 3d print a shroud and get a 6inch infinity fan. setup for this small miner. and keep it cooler and quiet. the s9 with the price they are going for now is like 200 Canadian and the new Nano 3 140w 4th miners which cost around 240 Canadian each shipped with a good wait time by reading the reviews some people still waiting who ordered in January and February. and what you save in price almost saves in almost 1yr of the power difference between them. So the S9 looks decent by for solo mining. Bitcoincash or even other Algo's
The problem with brain os is, you have to pay to brain some fee for software use.
Yep, most have a dev fee of 1.5% - 2.5% depending
80w/th is extremly ineficient..... there are 20 even 14 out there........ you have to have 0$ cost of electric cost to run them
The point was you get more fine tuning with Braiins OS.
