There is no way for me to translate the presence this giant MONSTER TRUCK gives off as an aura through your viewing screen. It's the true meaning of "BEAST". This is the largest PRODUCTION (meaning ready to purchase), Monster truck mass made, to date. Primal RC is the company that makes this phenomenal engineering marvel. This is the second video I have made since I have got the truck. I have a total of 2 tanks through it.. 3, by the end of this film. The engine is still getting broken in.. and I am running a 40:1 Gas to Oil ratio.. with Castrol 927 as the additive.
I have not modified this truck from stock, other than adjusting the HIGH needle to lean out the engine a bit.
This unique and one of a kind build is the result of 5 years of imagination through to realization! "Dan D", the Principle founder of the Primal RC company and brand - was and still is - a HUGE FAN of the classic Tamiya Clodbuster MONSTER TRUCKS! He always imagined and dreamed about what it would be like to have a HUGE VERSION of that classic beauty. Two years of building a prototype.. and an additional 3 years of ideation and end product production.. DAN engineered every kids DREAM! This solid axle design can go over anything. All torque, and all Power - all the time.
My good friend EVERETT has come by to check out this MASSIVE MACHINE.. and gives me a hand at assembling it and starting it for the first time. We are both struck by the sheer size of it - and the camera does it no justice. Its a definite "MUST SEE TO BELIEVE" kind of Radio Control Monstrosity!

Only the sound of a 49cc engine being broken-in for todays "In-Video Music"! There is only 1 needle on this CARB.. and its a high speed needle. I have 2 tanks of fuel run through here.. and Im running 40:1, Castrol 927 mix. I have leaned it out 3/4 of a turn from factory settings.. and its starting to seat nicely!
Now you Have to Go with a 73 cc or a 90 cc Engine and PUMP IT UP TO MAXX

You didn't get the 6 cell battery and charger that comes with the truck
2-speed carb and it will make that gap. what I did to make the gap was a tune for the high speed only. it was a bit tricky getting it off the line but once it opens up lookout

I had some fun with a wood 8”x8” puts the truck up in the air with the front tires then hit the 8”x8” with the rear tires to do some freestyle Action.
Primal has TMR modified stock Carbs that have a adjustment added for the low needle adjustment. And for $25 you can’t go wrong.
But then again at 40:1 yours sounds good
This takes solid axle RC monster trucks to another level. Watching this thing jump and land in slow motion is awesome! No wonder Primal RC have sold out their first batch of these beasts.

I'm sure if they did make brushless kit for this .. probably lighten up the weight just lil.
Not practical to manage that amount of lipo and runtimes would be fucking terrible. The truck weighs 80lbs, keep in mind, and with a truck that heavy you're gonna suck the batteries dry almost immediately.
ICE is the only way to make one of these enjoyable to operate.

It does seem very slow for how much noise it makes. It’s no wonder nitro cars have kinda went under within the RC realm. I know you can get super fast ones but now that battery tech has improved significantly the noise is just unnecessary.
Some people love the sound. And love motor so. If you like electric cars play if I you like gas cars play

Honestly man, its big, its exspensive, its slow with low acceleration and very noisy.
What a beast i love it!!! All my chillhood i loved the monster trucks, an worked a lot to cut the grass to pay half my share to get one on electricity.
I must admit that 20 years later i changed an like the onroad and drift more and have a epic car myself afhter inspiration from your drift adventures.
But everyone loves to se a big truck go rampage mode!

Comparing this to an HPI or Losi 5, is like comparing Grave Digger to a stadium truck or a Baja racer.

This thing is more at home on top of the Losi or Baja, than beside them.
It is under powered! Listen to it bog. It's a cool truck but I'd be disappointed with something that slow no matter how big it is.
