@lovedavantlamour301 I'm pretty sure they were referring to the Baez play later in the video, which is a far bigger stupid play that resulted in the Pirates 1B leaving the MLB & the US altogether.
At 2:43, where Pedrioa steals second and then third, it makes me think that someone on the Red Sox taught the runners to watch for that situation whenever there was a shift on. Johnny Damon, when he was on the Yankees (after the Red Sox), did something similar, stole second and then took off for the empty third base. I love great base running. Pure baseball.
2:16 There are Hundreds of Thousands of AB's in a single season. I can confidently say that ONE out is recorded 999,999,999 times out of a Billion. This is that One in a Billion play, and who else would do it but El Mago himself.
I love how he didn't even break stride on the first one and just turned his head to stare at the dude catching the ball for a second as he passed. Don't think I would've included the Donaldson clip though. It was aggressive baserunning for sure but not that smart. A halfway decent throw and he would've been canned at the plate.
The more I see that Javy Baez play in Pittsburgh I get more and more confused out of my mind. How does an MLB team turn an easy inning ending play into a tee-ball level play?
This is how you properly run in baseball. Not the lame jogging and or fluttering speed walks like what most baseball players do. I would do the same. SPRINT!
Baez play was stupid. He didn’t know the rules and got lucky that the Pirates F’s it up even worse. Baez legit thought the run would count as long as the runner scored before he got thrown out at first.
bro the situation with the pirates and the cubs it's just the most stupid play I've ever seen in my life haha, still in all memories
That will go down as some of the worst ball playing lol..I love the jomboy breakdown of it
Gotta give it to hoerner there , the only dude who had a fully functional brain underneath a Chicago cubs team issued cap during that play .
I don't know cubs brewers at 1:00 was pretty bad

Pretty sure the catcher is suppose to cover third with first baseman rotating to cover home on the first video.

1000 IQ PLAY! That's why it's always important to do your job as a baseball player because you never know in these situations(defensively).
I’m surprised that the Johnny Damon play wasn’t in the video.
no one saw Altuve break towards home because he's so short. I can say that because I'm shorter than him
2:38 This is the closest to WWE announcing that the MLB has ever come, and I love it.
bro rizzo was laughing so hard that he started choking 💀💀

This is great, running back 2:20 Tag me!

How did you not include Brendan Ryan's "infield triple" for the Mariners against the A's from 2011?
1:15 #35 looks like Trevor Wallace
instead of chasing someone forced to first base and giving up a score, how about touching the bag (automatic out) then throw home? oi some mates
It's even worse. There are two outs. You touch first, inning is over, run doesn't count either way.
No need to throw home, there were two outs
2:18 LOL
Some decent umpiring in there, too
Don't they teach defense any more?
#21 for the Cubs....what the f***?!? Why didn't he throw the ball back to 2nd? Must have been a brain fart.
Altuve looks tiny lol
MLB? Some of these plays reminded me of Little League.
