thanks for watching!! it's a great question, and you unfortunately can't because they're technically not cards and trello only shows a row for cards. Because of reasons like this, for anything I want to really keep track of I tend to defer to making things cards instead of checklist items, but I've got a couple videos about how you can do both by syncing them: th-cam.com/video/IMaZ3tso914/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/5FBqOMbIhNc/w-d-xo.html
Your videos have helped me understand Trello more than most on TH-cam. Thanks so much!! Quick question though..I’m torn between using Motion and Trello because I see that Motion does more and offers several things that Trello does but Trello is more simple and I kinda like that. I also like the all in one approach with Motion and NLP as well. What would make Trello an advantage here for a user like yourself? I will be using either software with no more than 3 people so I don’t have a big team and It’s for content, Film production and personal life. Thanks again
wow thank you so much! it seriously means so much to hear people say that, so thank you so much for sharing! and as far as motion and trello... they're both great tools but i kinda seem them as solving different problems, and you can definitely use both. Here's what i mean by that. 1) Trello is a great project management tool. Like here's my linear workflow for content planning, dragging a card through each of the stages, etc. 2) Motion is a great time blocking and scheduling tasks tool. Ie, Trello helps me figure out what to work on, Motion helps figure out when to do it and capture other loose items that don't fit with any specific project but still need to get done. I actually use Akiflow instead of Motion (I've got a video about the two of them here: th-cam.com/video/iUVie2lWG_E/w-d-xo.html ) but, I use both Akiflow and Trello for these reasons. I will say if i had to choose just one, I'd probably use Trello because its a much more powerful organizer tool and i can still assign dates to things in Trello so i can use Calendar view to plan out what happens when. Trello is also cheaper than motion if i recall. All of that being said, I do think motion is pretty cool and i like that it uses AI to tell me what to do when... sometimes my adhd brain really needs that haha.
@@britt_joiner thanks so much for that. I’m watching your other video now and I may use the two for that exact approach..Didn’t look at it that way. I was trying to find an all in one but it makes sense to use these tools for what they specialize in
@@7evintheproducer yeah exactly, and im sure many people get by just fine with one or the other, but truly feels like super powers when they're combined haha
Indeed your videos are SUPERB!!! in Anythin-Trello-Related stuff !!! Also I have to say from the heart, that AmazingFields really fantastic!!!
yay! thank you so much! i'm so happy to hear that! and yeah it's a great pup!
Great. Thanks so much for this video. Have spent the afternoon playing with in Timeline view. Much appreciated.
You’re welcome!! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for your videos Brittany! Quick question: why can't I view my checklist items that have a due date on the table view? Thanks a lot!
