If you go to your settings, then choose Board Settings / Utilities, you can copy the board configuration! This is a Supporter feature, so you'll need to upgrade if you haven't already but you'll get loads of other Supporter benefits with it.

It's not archiving either card? Try doing {triggercardname} instead of {cardname} and see if that helps. i wonder if its getting confused trying to find the new card that was copied, although i think they have the same name, right?

@@britt_joiner thanks - I ended up just doing a totally separate automation to archive duplicate cards in that list and that worked :)

It's so good! i really recommend it. I'm working on a video about how to implement it in Trello too 😁 There are definitely pieces that i will take personally and implement (primarily the single inbox for capture and dedicated time for organizing)- makes such a huge difference!

I dont think its on the rows/lines, i think its the actual files. Are any of the rows that aren't being imported missing any data in the cells?

Glad to hear it! I think if you change that last "find" action to "find card with link" and use {triggercardlink} then archive the card, that should archive the new one, not the old one.

Great question! It should update whenever it's changed, since the trigger is "when the field is set" (that also includes change. basically when a value is put in that field!)

Hey there! Butler is the same as Trello automation. Butler used to be a power-up many years ago, but then trello acquired it and integrated it into Trello so its all the same now!

thats a bit tough to explain in a comment, but id personally just embed a form on the page with something like typeform or google forms, or fillout (my favorite form tool).

I think Trello is intentionally built around collaboration. I often tell people if you are focused more on control than collaboration, you are probably interested in another tool altogether.

@@britt_joiner I agree with you, I'm using Trello Alone for Clients contacts history which is perfect in user activity daily log system, and Odoo for CRM pipelines, also using Miro for Visualizing the projects. Thanks to Trello for so many power ups which can't be defeated for it's ease of use.

Here's a video I made explaining collaborators and how many people can be involved in the free plan: th-cam.com/video/nnqfZoknR_g/w-d-xo.html The "observer" role is something that is a specific role only available in a premium workspace anyway, so that role is not available on the free plan. However, you can create a premium workspace with one paid user (you), and then add as many people as you want to a single board in there (you can make them regular members or observers). As long as those additional users are only on a single board, you will not be charged for them.

Great questions! I believe you can only attach one item per field, but you could create multiple fields, ie "attach a screenshot of your workflow" and then another field "attach a screenshot of the error" etc. I don't believe there are any restrictions on the file types, and im sure there's some sort of size limit but i've never come up against it. Feel free to play around with it on this form: forms.bluecatreports.com/shiY_WxZ/dear-taco (active form i use today, so you can play around with attaching things and get a feel for what it's like)

@@Kevinmulhalljr yeah it’s definitely not the cheapest tool. But I feel like I’ve found with AI stuff you tend to get what you pay for. Or you have to build all the prompts yourself on a free thing. Definitely tough to justify costs as a personal tool, but think it can make sense for teams who have budgets for collaboration tools

thanks for watching!! it's a great question, and you unfortunately can't because they're technically not cards and trello only shows a row for cards. @@LeesaWatego yep it’s kinda annoying. On board calendar views you can see checklist items. So if you’re only operating in one board you can go to that board and click calendar and they’ll show up. But if you want to see across multiple boards that won’t work. The best way to see all your checklist items is to go to your Trello home page and you see “my items” but they aren’t plotted on a calendar. You could create cards that sync with checklist items on a main project card, and thus have individual cards that show up on calendar and also have a checklist in the main project card to be able to view everything at a glance!

you can make a template, and it will keep the checklist items, but it wont set the due dates. or if you do set the dates in the template, each template will be whichever dates you set. ie, if you find yourself doing the same things on a Monday, Wednesday, and friday, every time you copy that card or template, you'll have to manually set those dates. it won't pick the upcoming monday/wednesday/friday, etc.

I don't but if im being honest, Akiflows AI features arent worth an update yet 😂 At the moment, all they do is guess at which project you want a task to be associated with and for me personally, it's always guessing wrong so I turned it off. But I know they're developing a lot more around that, so I'll keep an eye on it and make an updated version when I feel like I've got more to show there!
