""Sometime this week"...such a 37 Signals feature. Subtle, simple yet something which truly reflects how people's schedules actually unfold over the course of a week. Bravo.
Got my invite today and started messing with it. Already have 2 Hey emails. One for my contracts and one for myself and if the calendar is even close, this is going to be a great year. Thanks so much for this freedom. Sorry for failing 2/3 of my habits on the first day. 😂 Hey, there’s always tomorrow!
Love it so far. Permanently open in one tab on my desktop. Didn't know about Habits until this video, but that is brilliant! Also, one of the best short explainer videos I've seen in a while. Care to share what you use to create and produce these?
Glad you’re enjoying the calendar! I use Clean Shot to capture the screens (tip: zoom in on your browser 3-4x before recording so the resolution is high). Once recorded, I edit with adobe premiere pro, with a couple plugins from film impact to make the animations and transitions snappy 👌🏻 -Chad
Lots to like… I want to see tighter integration with Apple products, such as an Apple Watch complication and app, and I may make the switch from iCloud.
I really like the calendar's functionality! However, both in this video and the long preview, a different UI is shown. This was probably recorded before even the early bird rollout. But now the week view, even my smaller second screen, always fits two weeks. To get the slots for the days in the week to the size shown in the video's, I'd have to zoom to 150% which is clearly not what was done for this video. Is there a way to switch between the bigger and more condensed week views? I can see use cases for both
Hey! The reason the slots are bigger here is because the events in the morning and night stretch the length of the days longer. But it sounds like you’d like an option to condense and stretch out the days-noted!
@37signals Oh, I didn't know that, thank you! Yeah that option would be neat, while smaller view is probably more useful, the bigger view is very nice to look at
Does it interact with my current calendar so it can import events already there? The day view is odd. I have to turn my head to see everything. Very weird and unnatural. This calendar is like a Swiss Army knife. It does everything, probably too much, meaning the learning curve is steep. And then it does this and this and this and this and this…
You can integrate other calendars! Just gotta grab the .ics link. Here’s a video that shows how to do that with Apple, Google, and outlook. th-cam.com/video/QnIyQtNcuA4/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared That what you were asking about?
How the HEY Calendar works? Bad... Sync super slow Always loading for everything. Even to change the view take almost 2 seconds. Impossible to share the calendar. The video is nice... it's accelerated.

Thanks Neil! We're always aiming for reality - how do people actually work, think, be, etc. -JF
So many cool features built into a single, simple product! The interface is beautiful as well! Congrats!
This is a really solid 1.0 release. I'm not typically great about actually using a calendar, but this makes me want to!
I use a digital calendar all the time, and I couldn't agree more. A really strong v1.
Appreciate that! And yes it's just 1.0 - lots more great stuff to come! -JF
Looking awesome! And a built in habit tracker and to-do list - very clever
So clear and simple. I'm already loving the "sometime" and habit tracking features. Perfect companion to my HEY email. Thank you 🤩
Great great features. Excited for what is else to come!

Hey, there’s always tomorrow!
Great design work! Well done 👏🏻
Can we just shout out to that Mad Men reference to Lucky Strike? Woohoo!
Nicely done. 😎
Great, I’m definitely going to use it, tried it out already. But how can I display the birthdays of my address book contacts?

Damn - it's looking sweet 👏
Is there a keyboard shortcut for switching between the email and calendar?
Good suggestion!
There is now!! 🎉
i LOVE this.
awesome
‘Let’s start with the week view…’
How do I open the calendar with the week view?
I would love for there to be an option to set the default to Week or Day (it's currently defaulting to Day).
@@ChrisMooreOfficial Yep, exactly what I'm asking for.
I wrote them and asked - it’s on their radar already 👍

Is it actually out tho? I (and quite a few others..) don't have access?
It's been rolled out in phases. I can confirm all these features are live on release.
Patience my friend. I just got access today. Load Balancing is a tricky business. Your time shall come too…

That what you were asking about?
Day view of the calendar is doing what? Horizontal feed is not convenient to use. Make it like in google calendar, vertical view.
HEY don't do things like anyone else, that's part of their ethos 🎉

Bad...
Sync super slow
Always loading for everything. Even to change the view take almost 2 seconds.
Impossible to share the calendar.
