I love the tymo brush/comb so bad. Highly recommend y’all! Very heat training friendly. I’ll even use on a super low setting after a workout on my roots (i never put heat on my ends bc i rollerset my hair) zero heat damage thus far y’all. It’s giving kinky straight not bone straight but the point is…it’s a tool that allows you to go back and forth between straight and curly without damage.
I literally just learned about this Tymo product just now and watch 3 TH-cam videos about it. I noticed that there is no hair breakage when straightening it with the heat comb. I like that a lot. Looks like you have one of those backs in the day straightening comb scar on your head!! Brings back memories when I tried to straighten my hair and used to get those teeth marks from the comb right in the middle of my forehead and don't even mention those ear marks 😅😂😅 !!

I got heat damage from this. It was my favorite before I did 😢😩 I believe the protective coating burned off inside of the comb. It’s almost impossible to clean thoroughly. And very hard to see inside of it. That’s my theory behind my heat damage. I use the RevAir to “blow dry” (which I know FOR SURE didn’t contribute) and ever since I switched back to a flat iron, I can tell a HUGE difference in the curl pattern, elasticity, and thickness of my roots vs my ends 😩 Now I’m on a journey to progressively cut the damage off. My hair is about 15 inches long with the shortest layer about 12 inches. My healthy roots are only about 5 inches so I have a ways to go. Ugh.
OMG SAME! I got split ends from it. I could hear my hair ripping when I used it 😅🥲 and when I was done my hair was super poofy. I have since gotten a treatment and cut 🙏🏾 so grateful I was able to salvage a lot of my hair

you should have turned down the heat. How can you expect no heat damage when the heat is so high. You should use it for stretching and not a full blown silk press.
@@Vhfash I used it on the 4th heat setting lol. And I never got heat damage from any of my flat irons even when using the same or higher heat setting than the Tymo. There’s nothing that says you CANT use it for a full blown silk press though…so that’s irrelevant.

It works insanely well on my Caucasian curls I in one stroke have shiny swingy healthy looking straight hair and I really didn't think I would see much stretch but it's a couple inches difference. So the big task and the reason I got the brush bye biracial daughter has their which we thought was at our shoulders knew there was shrinkage of course because she is strong 4C let me tell you it got her hair dang near to a silk press just brushing it. We didn't want to add too much more heat because she was going to get braids and having her hair pin straight made the braids come out better than they ever have. So now I'm using it on all of my kids hair before they go get it and protective styles. I only do my hair once a week it's been trained to only be washed once a week for like a decade. It went from taking me 45 minutes to flat iron my hair to 15 minutes to use this brush there's no pinching there's no pulling like you feel with a flat iron cuz I never really thought about it this way but it is just smushing your hair between two hot plates it's not actually smoothing them out completely and you can never get to your roots with this you get straight to the root no burning no singing and I guess the theory is that it slides it over all the coil and that's how it stays smooth I don't know but I can sweat and I can get sprinkled in the rain and it stays straight
