In all the years of FM i have ever only needed 2 GK. I dont even put a GK on bench.

same, even in ucl where u can name 12 in bench i dont waste that on gk 😂
I've seen GK injuries many times though.
Same, sometimes I don’t even buy a #2
On older FM it happened to me to lose my GK on injury 3 or 4 time. Each time I conceded 3/4 goals in 15 minute. So I never go without a GK on the bench
One key tip. In the tactics screen, you can add “injury risk” as one of the columns (on the right side, under “customize current view” I do this so anytime someone has a “high” injury risk, I swap them out.
This is not injury proneness, but injury risk based on condition, match, and training load.
you can reduce their training load.
One thing you can do regarding playing time expectation is to go under happiness, and then look at the pop-up for "change playing time". Then you can see how low the player will allow you to go without getting annoyed.

I always try to reduce playing time. Helps me rotate players easily and find out who is actually worth giving regular or important status.

First Team 11-13 Players (80% wages)
Squad/Under 21's 9-12 Players (18% wages)
Under 18's 13 Players (2% wages)
That's my working out on squad numbers!
I like to keep a squad of around 20/21 with at least half of the back up players having multiple positions. Less players to keep happy and more chances of back up players to get a game If they're coveting say cb/dmc/mc etc
I spent 120m on Porro to ensure I had 2 quality players for every position in a 5-1-1-3. Regardless Porro was only fit for 2 games by January the 4th. 22 players isn't enough cover if you use WB's. I've had to use a 36yo Walker as cover but only still had him because he was languishing in the reserves because nobody would buy him.

How do you sell players that easily? I can't get rid of pulisic, ziyech n more. Can anyone teach me? l've tried offering them to clubs w lower price and transfer listed too. But interest r taking too long. So please can someone help me how to sell quick with their value.
If you can go to persuade to leave that usually gets things moving for me. Im had immovable objects leave by hitting that button. Usually tell them they arent in my plans or that they need to take control of their futures.
