A announcement about wheel support will be with us by end of August according to the discord , please note they said announcement and not that it will implemented by end of August ☕

@@CGDGAMES Thanks again, Lee. It is kinda depressing though that Simteract give out the impression that they're treating us like second class gamers just because we happen to play on consoles. You know, a lot can be said about the general tardiness of ART but at the end of the day the devs did at least recognise that not everyone drives with a controller....so if an equally as small team as Simteract can implement wheel support into a game that's had a relatively short development cycle then is it really as difficult as they're trying to make it out to be?
I have done some research into wheel support for consoles and my information tells us it will be coming with patch 5 which is the next update for the game as the devs have said on their Reddit and also there is a graph for all the information on each patch so we are waiting for patch 5 no date has been revealed but it will be here before august 17
Still waiting for that PROMISED steering wheel support and PSVR2 version (jk). How long will it take them to deliver that support? It was promised to be on launch, and I was dumb enough to purchase this in pre order.

When this game came out on console I was amazed at the amount of cars in the road. Feels like on console every game always keeps the density too low. Now that we can turn it up even more I might jump back into this game haha. I love traffic jams. Wish Alaskan Road truckers had a lot more traffic density (at least on the highways)
Im level 27 with one achievement to get which is to get to the level 30 and i played it last week and got bored after 30/45 minutes. We do need more real life scenarios to bring me back for longer

This looks a good game landed it on a sale for £20...this looks like it's got the potential to be very good if the devs give it a bit of polish and keep adding to the game... Test drive looks to be a good one , although the beta test didn't go to well , fingers crossed they fixed many of the issues people complained about during that test

@@CGDGAMES just looked and in setting you can adjust the radius of 3rd person view and first first person. Not the most practical but there is the feature.
As a Console player I've lost all interest for this game with its very small map with limited gameplay & still no wheel support. I'll be giving this a miss!
I did try to play again after my recording of this video and I didn't last very long tbh , like you I'm a bit fatigued with it , the map size and lack of interesting jobs doesn't help !
They did reply to a comment on here that DLC is next on their list after implementing wheel support , have a dig through the comments ! I hope you are well Mel 😊
he doesnt answer this question in the video but if you google that question then yes people are using g29 in this game and i think you need to download the G Hub software and it runs fine with this game.
map is too small, roads are horribly nonsensical, crosswalks literally everywhere. zombie ai too stupid. cars stop in the middle of a turn. I got a ticket for hitting a pedestrian who was walking backwards into my taxi. The vehicle models are fugly to say the least. This game should be free, honestly. Oh and 10000000 speed bumps! You touched on rolling back- when in an automatic you are still in drive when you stop. no one on the planet goes to neutral in an automatic trans. dumb. The dev should remove the price tag until they make something that resembles a game.

Yes - we are planning on adding more DLC into Taxi Life. More info on that after we're done implementing steering wheel support for consoles.

For £17 you can't go wrong , but don't expect anything groundbreaking , the game gets very stale after 20/25 hours or so

You are welcome , this game needs huge work across the board ! For me not much to do after 20 or so hours , gets very repetitive too in that time
A simulator where people try not to step out in front of cars is far more realistic.

no wheel support is crazy in 2024 and on pS5...i building gaming Pc this year i'll use my ps5 as Firestick😅😅😅😅😅for now on
Supposedly wheel support is finally happening on ps5 end of September but I wouldn’t hold my breath tbh
