SnowRunner a well deserved 1st place, can't believe Alaskan got 2nd spot, If it got the love and attention it so desperately needs and deserved I would agree 100%, but in its current state it would be a lot lower, shame because it had so much potential and seemed to be the game we've been waiting for on console at first glance, and Star Trucker definitely deserved the honourable mention

Now my go to channel for down to earth compelling console sim content. Superb stuff as always. This channel is a sleeping giant!

Sorry but ART is a terrible game , thats astonishing to me for it to be that high up, surely mud runner or even expeditions is better

The problem with Truck driver was the drowsiness meter that can't be turned off, which is a major problem, since it drains in just a few minutes, forcing you to find a dedicated place to sleep. I tryed Snowrunner, but found the mega-super uber-sensitive ( lightly put it ) steering way to over the top, Also the gps always seemed to take you on a tour across the map and ending up where you started. I stick to Farming simulator 22, which has lots of different trucks and maps to choose from, mostly to ingame mods. 👍

ART is a fantastic game in my opinion even with its issues

Played Alaskan didn't really have any problems. Enjoyed it for a while but in the end found it pretty boring with nothing much to play for. Still using the start truck . There's so little difference. it's not worth buying another one. Once you have the garage level one, there's no need to upgrade it further . The only thing to play for is the trailer licences, and personally, i just couldn't be arsed . There's no increase in pay for the different trailers. it's just got tediously dull rather quick. As for Snow Runner, played it when it came out awful game. The steering was so slow and unresponsive that it made it hard to play . The heavy cargo was mostly driving around in a van in the rain.that lasted about an hour. . Truck and logistics same steering problems way to slow and doesn't self centre that lasted about an hour as well. Haven't played the others . Probably never will given up on console trucking.

Is the Tram driving a part of the Gold Edition or does Standard Edition work?

I do like it. I do want to see more. And that Aston is beautiful. Trying to work on the new ones is pigging awful. But the DB5 is a beautiful machine

I just picked it up for 17 quid got the supporters edition love it but there’s one little thing I’m not enjoying and it’s the steering on gamepad and I’m a little concerned about the long term as they made train life and they gave up on that

In fairness to those who voted, the games below Snowrunner could have come out in any order because when you consider the capability of XSX and the overall quality of what we actually get, all 7 of them games are average at best. I think what helped ART being rated so highly is the fact that it's reasonably new and some may still be playing it, What the console really needs though is a truck driving sim that doesn't fall into the 'low budget' category.

Unfortunately, there just isn't a fully satisfying trucking game on console. Snowrunner has trucks, but it's not trucking in the accepted sense, of delivering loads many miles. There are several games, all on this list, that with money and skilful developers, could have been polished and enjoyable, but they're half finished. Truck and Logistics is like a demo because it's so small, and On The Road is like a work in progress. Now focusing on ETS2 and ATS, I'm only really playing Alaskan Road Truckers on console now. I enjoy its challenges, but having bugs every time I play definitely dilutes its enjoyment. Simulation games on console are ruined by underfunded and inept development.

Downloaded the original because it was 10 bucks but it has 0 instructions and made it very hard to play so i refunded it and just bought a tsw dlc instead i was going to get this but my friends that have it already are having some crashing issues. Tired of these companies releasing half finished games and selling half the game as DLC (collectors edition).
