A nice trick when its raining is to tie the bucket up on the low end of your tarp. The rain will fill the bucket and you will not have to leave your shelter for water.

The marketing picture for the product shows a sort of lid, that it's sealable. No so. I was tricked by that because I want to be able to carry the water in the backpack.
