    Great idea! There are a bunch of uses for this thing, and I can't recommend them enough for groups. It's much easier to send one person to the river and get water for a bunch of folks at once.

    nice review, I've known about it for a while but it's one of those things that you put on the back burner as far as gear purchasing. Once you backpack in a few times you begin to realize how important water is....even if you thought you already knew :)

    Yes! It works great for that too. The product does say that it is BPA free, so water you plan to consume can be kept in it.

    Thanks for the review. I agree that this would be more versatile than the kitchen sink. I almost bought the kitchen sink but will now be getting this instead.

    @helloitsmeorisit It is certainly a big help when taking a group out in the woods. It's one thing to purify your own water, but when you are trying to keep 7+ people hydrated it helps to have something like this handy.

    I think the main advantage of this "bucket" is that it can be very useful for taking a shower or at least a partial body parts bath, using only this,a cup ans some soap
