@@lewis821 You really believe it's impossible for Batman not to flinch when being punched when he shares his universe with a flying alien, a shapeshifting alien, a kid with the Old God's powers, a New God that is the incarnation of evil etc. ?
Because Earth's gravity accelerates us towards Earth and our gravity accelerates Earth towards us all depending on a relative frame of reference. But since it's in a relative frame of reference how do we know we fall at all? So it all boils down to whether or not falling actually exists because remember, our thoughts make reality. The universe presents us with something, for example energy, and we ultimately decide what we want to perceive it as.

Still to this day the best trailer I have ever seen not bc of it being great fighting or showing really cool stuff but bc this shows in the best way possible who batman is and what he went through to become batman and how he will never forget why he does what he does
This trailer is a masterpiece. It is bc it conveys so much emotion and information in a succinct 30 second video without words. And its very symbolic. It starts with bruce wayne happy and then the gunshot of his parents being killed as his expression changes. Then the gunshot again introduced a new frame of bruce attending his parents' funeral with a stare of "why?" And anger welling up inside him. Next is the junior high fight. All of the shock and frustration of his parents muder has caught up with him in his early teenage years. Hes a fighter. Next is him being bullied or pushed around. This foreshadows the strength of his enemies when he becomes batman. Next is his training. Hes a learner. Take note that hes looking deeply into the camera all these frames with a transforming expression across the frames. Finally, he is punched by bane. This shows is where bruce the kid in junior high and batman meet. Hes hit and he comes back with a retaliatory blow. This shows not only that hell never stop fighting, but that hes applying what hes learned. The trailer begins with the death of his parents, and ends with the full circle effect of this event that took place in his childhood. Hes giving back everything hes taken through the years tenfold by punching bane back. The final part is the song describing his current state. All of the rage, confusion, frustration, bitterness and questions still haunt him in maturity. But hes fighting so no one has to experience what he did as a child. Batman's a badass.
Obviously that wasn't what OP was referring to. They mentioned his brawl at school then said "Next, is him being bullied or push around" indicating the next scene when he's at martial arts training. @@MichaelSparda
Enjoy the words I saw with each new frame... I have felt fear. I have felt sadness. I have felt humiliation. I have felt weak. I have felt darkness. This world has always beaten on me. But now it's my turn...
So Tim Miller director of the new Deadpool movie directed this trailer. I was already hyped for the movie and now learning this my excitement is further increased. This trailer is still just as haunting as the first time I watched it back in 2013. The Merc with a Mouth feels like he's in good hands.
Yeah, all hell breaks lose once he injected that Modified Venom to his body. Almost shit my pants whenever he catches me. But I must say the most annoying boss fight would be the one against Deathstroke. And the easiest one was with the Cutioner, the fucker was worst than a fucking thug fodder. Firefly would be the second easiest
Yes. In less than a minute, we see a video that shows us just the tragic world batman lives in... you stop believing in fairytales here and feel sympathetic for this man... I can tell you all the adrenaline of emotions this trailer gives me...
This is the best trailer for any Arkham game, any batman film or anything Bat related. So powerful. Raises so many questions, ideas and emotions. Brilliant.
silja lin It is *partly* inspired by Batman the Animated Series, but yeah, it indeed is perhaps the best interpretation of Batman. Perhaps better than even Nolan's interpretation.
What I love so much about TV spot is that sums up the deepest motivation within Bruce's core. Even as he grew up to become Batman, he is still that little boy who wanted to stop the mugger.
ummm no.... bruce wayne died that night.... batman is his true self.... in the lore of the Arkhamverse, bruce needs to go as batman as much as possible, this is evident in the character bios in Arkham City where bruce tried to do as many things that batman himself can do to stop arkham citys campaign but it wasn't possible so he had to do it as Bruce Wayne
Why is Batman my favorite super hero? Because his super power is the power of his will, and not some kind of magical bullshit caused by genetics modification or mutation. Respect!
If i have to be honest, this trailer shows me what Batman means really to us. Batman's journey as young Bruce Wayne, who's parents were murdered by a thug, his training under Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins, and the beginning to the Caped Crusader and the Dark Knight we know now. Batman gives and shows us what really tragedy and fear means. This is one of the reason why Batman is one of the respected superhero of all time. When I saw this trailer while watching movie Premium Rush, it gave me thoughts about what if I was Batman and I felt all of his pain of tragedy and fear. I cried at this trailer of Batman's life.
u: man that looks alot like bruce wayne in arkham city lol lol BRO NICE BALD HAIR AND BATMAN COSTUME : holy shit thats a nice suit looks like batman WAIT WHAT THATS A FUCKING GAME
It’s amazing how in less than a minute a video game trailer completely captures the essence of Batman/ Bruce Wayne’s entire character and tells you all you need to know about him and what motivates him, his pain, his loss, his fear, and his struggles, and his determination to keep on fighting no matter what. That one moment in that alleyway completely changed his life forever.
This is so strong, emotional, just one minute but so meaningful. This is the reason why Batman may be the most loved hero: he represents all of us, he is so human. This one minute video are images of human condition. Many downs, but with his strenght, he keeps going, he never gives up, he struggles but he fights. He sacrifeces himself. Batman should not be seen as only a comic or a film, he must be seen as a human flag, a model. Batman means sacrifice for love. The goal that should belong to all mankind, to a great man and a great woman.
This is what they took from us. RIP Kevin Conroy. You (and Arkhamverse Batman) deserved a better curtain call than the slop that was "Kill The Justice League".
People often confuse originality, revolution & quality, and they believe the 2 firsts always comes with the 2nd. Origins didn't revolutionize the franchise but it didn't intend to, it's made for those who just can't get enough of previous Arkham games (especially City, because Asylum looks quite boring now), and it succeeded at it. It's really a good game, despite the bugs.
Potential94 No one said it was bad, most people just say it’s the worst game in the series, which isn’t saying much since Arkham City is considered one of the best games of the 2010’s, it’s a tough act to follow.
Before watching this, I watched the intro for the 1966 Batman series. Then I watched this. How much Batman has changed in visual media (television, movies, games, etc) in just 48 years...
Blake Rose Well, maybe not "Just" but still around 48 years. Sure, Batman's been around longer than that, but I talk about his visual media (TVs, games, movies, etc.).
I'll just finish that comment by saying that I actually saw a lot of my own life in this clip. When I was 8, my older brother was shot by a stray bullet in front of me, I was bullied in school, started boxing when I was 15, joined the Marines at 20, all I'm waiting on is what this life leads up to.
Harold Davidson Yeah, your life does actually sound like a watered down version of Batman's (saw gun-related tragedy at eight, bullied in school, became a trained fighter as a teen, promoted to someone with a dangerous life but saves lives)
Arkham origins is very underrated game , I think the most people are very spoiled about Batman ,theyve give us so much in it , theyve work very hard to make this game so original , I love this game like other Batman games , its BATMAN DAMN IT!
***** I believe that ''buggy'' thing is their only problem in it , Id like how joker turned to be the black mask that was so creative because jokers personality is just like it , the initiation dlc was so creative , wb mr were so glad because they are developers so they give everything from themselves to make this game original .
Most of their problems are taste issues and other than the game is bugged but I only got one and it was made in a year I mean look at the new spiderman game which is the same as the first game.
I dont like other games besides batmans actually im not a passionate gamer , im only addicted to arkham games ive played main story for 100 times ,but I know what ur talking about spidey there.
Bruce Wayne Well I'm a big gamer and for a superhero game to have as much content that there was in Origins and design wise in a year is and should be impressive.
Yeah ,theres only few things that are really bad , counter the enemy not always works , the explosive gel when you have to blow the wall he spray it on the ground , you have to spray 3-4 times to spray that on the wall so those kind of things ....., like bugs when you fly (thats hilarious bug actually) and the fight with bane and death stroke very bad experience but after all its pretty bad ass game , im addicted to it
I don't understand all the hate towards this game, the gameplay was as good as the old ones, the story was brilliant in my opinion, the voice acting was almost as good as the ones prior and a bigger map! People are so spoiled I swear. Note that this game was just filler so that we didn't have to wait too long for Rocksteady's third installment, so be grateful they cared enough to give us something to keep us happy until they dished out the main course. That being said, I can't wait for Arkham Knight next year!
No, combat wasn't as good as AC, because they added shock gloves, that completely wiped off the need to fight each enemy differently. And remember Arkham Asylum: combat was soooo good, that it seemed perfect and they could not add anything that would improve it, but you know what? AC just exploded my mind with so many cool new features! Besides, they changed the map and the way that you were travelling through it. They added crazy amount of new (to the game) characters. The map had a unique design in different parts of the map ( for example: steel mill, police department, church) and was filled with easter eggs. Story was brilliant ( well, yes, it wasn't as dynamic as Arkham asylum, because of the open world). Voice cast was even better than in the first game, because of the new characters. Then, AO came out. New graphics ( AC had good graphics, and I was happy with that), new voice cast ( not as good as AC), new characters ( deathstroke's execution was awful), the only feature they added is new detective mode, half of the map is from AC, not to mention the emptiness of the other part. And no, they didn't make Arkham Origins because they "care". They made it because they wanted more money from this franchise. Whoosh, sorry for my english, it's horrible...probably.
0:26 you can see when the sword just scratches his face, and then when it jump cuts to Batman it looks like the scar is there, but really faded and un-noticeable. My eyes could be playing tricks on me... But it just shows Batman has a scar, emotionally and wont let go.

I watched it at least 10 times........
I think I got you beat on that

Still to this day the best trailer I have ever seen not bc of it being great fighting or showing really cool stuff but bc this shows in the best way possible who batman is and what he went through to become batman and how he will never forget why he does what he does
I completely agree mate.
Never*
You are so right batman rock
the trailer really builds up to that yell batman gives at 0:33. you can hear all of his anger and sorrow
sad
Batman's a badass.
he wasn’t being bullied he was being pinned on a mat during martial arts
How the fuck wasn't this clip placed in the game? It absolutely deserved to belong in the game.
Phil Brannigan He was being bullied, in the clip prior to his Martial Arts training.
Obviously that wasn't what OP was referring to. They mentioned his brawl at school then said "Next, is him being bullied or push around" indicating the next scene when he's at martial arts training. @@MichaelSparda
@@jase276 Obviously I was replying to Phil and not the OP, they stated “he wasn’t being bullied”.
Six years later and I’m still waiting for an extended version of this sweet cinematic.

We can't let this video get lost in history.

Or: Fear, Loss, Anger, Determined, Darkness
So Tim Miller director of the new Deadpool movie directed this trailer. I was already hyped for the movie and now learning this my excitement is further increased. This trailer is still just as haunting as the first time I watched it back in 2013. The Merc with a Mouth feels like he's in good hands.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say you listened to the latest hollywood babble on because they bring it up on last weeks episode
Babble the fuck on my friend! :D
He also did the DC universe cinematic trailer.
The guy seriously needs to take on a DC film after DP2.
Glad to see people finally appreciate this underrated game after Arkham Knight's letdown in terms of boss fights. This game had the best boss fights!
Meh. Arkham City was the best by far though.
+Heinz Guderian too easy for me. after first play through I could get through all of them easily. the only good one (for me at least) was Mr.freeze
Bane overshadows the other bosses for me. I was just scared to fight this dude.
Dick Pound deathstroke was actually pretty tough for me. It was a real challenge and good old hand to hand combat unlike in arkham knight
This still hits hard, each flash I could see different stages of my own life, beautiful music as well
"I haven't been a child since I was 8 years old."
Gives me goosebumps everytime I watch this. Who else?
Yes. In less than a minute, we see a video that shows us just the tragic world batman lives in... you stop believing in fairytales here and feel sympathetic for this man... I can tell you all the adrenaline of emotions this trailer gives me...
Me too. Poor Bruce Wayne .
Sorry i'm late,forgive me.
Same Here.

Pain either makes you heartless or selfless
Well said
Both
True but it can also be both.
That's why Joker and batman are the same. Joker became heartless and batman became selfless. The only difference was that Joker gave up on humanity.
The difference is that joker gave in to darkness and Batman never will

This is the best trailer for any Arkham game, any batman film or anything Bat related. So powerful. Raises so many questions, ideas and emotions. Brilliant.
I completely agree. This is the best trailer I've ever seen.
The only part I question is in the beginning. When he's smiling. While Joe Chill has a gun trained on his parents.
Jay Lovelady smiles than joe comes smile turns to frown and BAM parents are killed
The only thing I don't get is why Bruce has no hair
Miguel Moreno maybe they shave it when they train you know so you can keep cool
the Arkham games nailed the batman universe in my opinion. everything about these games felt right to me
silja lin It is *partly* inspired by Batman the Animated Series, but yeah, it indeed is perhaps the best interpretation of Batman. Perhaps better than even Nolan's interpretation.
Batman never backs down until he knows he's done. Be like Batman.
It’s been 8 years. 8 years of me wishing that “it’s all still with me” was a real song.
so its not taken from a song?????
@@SgtKnievelit is taken from a song, but it doesn't sound like what we hear in this teaser.

1.Happy kids with parents
2.Parents funeral
3.High School Bullies
4.Military
5.Training with the Shadows
6.Batman
Batman was never in military. He hates guns and would never blindly take orders to kill
@@hansolo1571 instead military I believe he is wearing a white gi (karate or jiu jutsu uniform) my best guess
@evilphoenix 007 there is a difference between training in the military and training military style hand to hand combat
@@hansolo1571
Batman doesn't hate guns, it's just not his cup of Tea. But he can understand the appeal of firearms.
Frank Woods yes, his face was hitting a mat, so it was most definitely jiu jitsu or judo
Why is Batman my favorite super hero? Because his super power is the power of his will, and not some kind of magical bullshit caused by genetics modification or mutation. Respect!
technically not super though.
Same bro. I agree. His will is like no others
Don't think Arkham Batman trained under Ra's, that's just Nolans Batman.
Eugene Steven Kong the thug had a name it was in the comics but,the thug died by his own men
@Richard Colmenares: Joe Chill
Raffney He was and by various other instructors.

Hahaha.WTF
u: man that looks alot like bruce wayne in arkham city lol lol BRO NICE BALD HAIR AND BATMAN COSTUME : holy shit thats a nice suit looks like batman WAIT WHAT THATS A FUCKING GAME
They told his story perfectly in 30 seconds but every movie has to add it as filler
I remember feeling such emotion when I first saw this years ago and I still feel it now in 2020.
This sums up Batman in less than a minute and it’s amazing. With all the hits he took in life, he used them as lessons and hit back harder.
It’s why I love Batman so much. Goes through alot of hardship just to fight back in the end. So damn relatable man 🥲🦇
Fr
I believe this trailer shows why people love batman, it's hard to keep focus on a goal, and having that type of will is his power.
This is what they took from us. RIP Kevin Conroy. You (and Arkhamverse Batman) deserved a better curtain call than the slop that was "Kill The Justice League".
Kevin was not the voice actor of Batman in Arkham Origins but i agree
This game was not bad!!!!
TheJoe971 It's my favorite next to asylum.
Potential94 No one said it was bad, most people just say it’s the worst game in the series, which isn’t saying much since Arkham City is considered one of the best games of the 2010’s, it’s a tough act to follow.
Final Question: NAME, you obviously haven’t played City then.
The Man in Black Its not even a debate, Arkham City is the best in the series
Before watching this, I watched the intro for the 1966 Batman series.
Then I watched this.
How much Batman has changed in visual media (television, movies, games, etc) in just 48 years...
Blake Rose Well, maybe not "Just" but still around 48 years. Sure, Batman's been around longer than that, but I talk about his visual media (TVs, games, movies, etc.).
Is it negative? i personally think its a good development because it has made Batman more popular and a wide hero
Jian Zhi Zhang It's positive.
The late 60's were a wild, carefree, crazy time. Batman has caught up to todays dark and serious times
it was in 1992 with "batman the animated series" that it started to take the deep dark roots we all love today. so "only" 26 years
These 30s show the origin story of Batman better than, all movies combined.
If you look close enough he gets cut a little bit on his cheek but doesn’t react 0:26
Bruh!! I never noticed that! Thanks💪🏾
Wow
After watching this you realize how simple your life is.......
Connor Trollsten For some, not all.
Harold Davidson For almost everyone ever, not all.*
Harold Davidson
Yeah, your life does actually sound like a watered down version of Batman's (saw gun-related tragedy at eight, bullied in school, became a trained fighter as a teen, promoted to someone with a dangerous life but saves lives)
Harold Davidson Pointy ears and a cape?
This video inspires me a lot ..

Yeah ,theres only few things that are really bad , counter the enemy not always works , the explosive gel when you have to blow the wall he spray it on the ground , you have to spray 3-4 times to spray that on the wall so those kind of things ....., like bugs when you fly (thats hilarious bug actually) and the fight with bane and death stroke very bad experience but after all its pretty bad ass game , im addicted to it
The story wasn't great but it's still a badass game. My favourite part is Deathstroke's boss battle.
Rómulo Eduardo Figueroa Díaz
True but not the countering bit.
Rómulo Eduardo Figueroa Díaz Hmmm no you're thinking the Copperhead fight, Deathstroke's fight is it's own thing
The ZombieMan How can you get those mixed up?
ah-in-nist sipes I'm not, the Copperhead fight is more like the Ra's fight than the Deathstroke fight
Origin's Deathstroke battle was BADASS , especially with the disappointment of fighting Deathstroke in a freakin' tank in Arkham Knight.
Whoosh, sorry for my english, it's horrible...probably.
dante1725 Just quit buying Batman games if you want to cry so much about it.
Because it was a bug riddled mess.
Explaining why you didn't like something = crying. Logic!
The game is a glitch-fest.
0:26 you can see when the sword just scratches his face, and then when it jump cuts to Batman it looks like the scar is there, but really faded and un-noticeable. My eyes could be playing tricks on me...
But it just shows Batman has a scar, emotionally and wont let go.
This trailer defines what Batman was, is and will always be.
