• Batman: Arkham Origins...
===================================
Batman: Arkham Origins is the next installment in the blockbuster Batman: Arkham videogame franchise. Developed by WB Games Montréal, the game features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, the first two critically acclaimed games of the franchise.
Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, players will meet many important characters for the first time and forge key relationships.
GAME FEATURES:
● The Arkham Story Begins: Batman: Arkham Origins features an all-new single-player campaign written by Dooma Wendschuh and Corey May, with Geoff Johns consulting. Players become an early-career Batman as he encounters for the first time many of the super villains that shape his future.
● Enhanced Detective Mode: Batman's detective skills are tested as never before with an all-new Crime Scene system that allows players to scrub through the evidence in order to find key pieces of information. Players use Batman's cowl and Bat Computer to digitally recreate crime scenes, allowing them track clues that normal eyes would miss.
● Gotham City as Never Seen Before: Explore areas of Gotham City before its transformation into Arkham City, and experience all new areas and other iconic locations. The dynamic and rich environments are filled with a variety of enemies, "crimes-in-progress" and other content that will encourage exploration and player engagement.
● Most Wanted Side Missions: Hunt down villains who are connected to, but not part of the core story. It's the player's choice if and when they want to complete these threads.
● New Enemies: Encounter new enemies such as the Armored Enforcer and Martial Artist who challenge fans to approach FreeFlow Combat in different ways.
● New Gadget: Utilize an arsenal of familiar gadgets from previous Batman: Arkham games, as well as new items such as the Remote Claw. Batman can take down enemies by using the Remote Claw to attach enemies to one another or to objects within the environment for quick takedowns.
● New and Familiar Characters: Encounter a full cast of iconic DC Comics characters including Black Mask, Penguin, Deathstroke, Bane, Anarky, Captain Gordon, The Joker and others.

And this is the same guy that voiced Joel in Last Of Us and Booker in BioShock Infinite.. This guy is a voice master.
I never knew how talented Troy Baker was before this game. Arkham Origins was to Troy Baker what The Dark Knight was to Heath Ledger; his finest hour!!!!!!
Triton K175 He's rather good, but he'll never fully replace Mark Hamill...
Chris Lee I still think he's a worthy successor
And pagan min from far cry 4
***** I won't argue with you on that...
Glad the audience had the respect to not make any noise during his performance. He sounds great, not as polished as Mark Hamill but he definitely is a great Joker.
Perfect successor of Hamill, I would say.
Hamill had years of experience with the voice. To say this is the first time he's played the character, he did a FANTASTIC job!
Team BombHead The thing is that Baker's Joker is an impression of Hamill's Joker.
Absolutely.
He cannot sound like Mark's Joker, cause Mark did Prince of Crime for 20-25 years, Troy only 2 years.
Mark Hamill will always be The Joker, but Troy Baker killed it.
zac moore
Indeed, he is quite a talented man... he didn't replace him... he Honored him. : )
zac moore Yeah, if they were going to go with someone else to play the younger version of the character....at least they nailed it. It's very difficult to tell them apart if you didn't know it wasn't Hamill.
zac moore Thank you for summing up my thoughts so beautifully...
zac moore well i respect all people like mark but for me troy is the joker !
zac moore My reaction exactly. I´d go far to say Hamill has found his successor, and the number 2 best Joker rendition ever (after Hamill)
if its not hamil im glad its this guy
I still think Hamil is better .
paul sz they are kind of..almost identical tbh.
Nines Ing I like Hamil better Not only for making Arkham city and Asylum but also for entertaining us in the Childhood when he made the Joker's voice in the Batman Cartoon Series .
this is not a Hamil Vs Troy Baker, Hamil didnt want to do it, and this guy done an amazing job
thomas cully hamill couldnt do it , its supposed to be an origin story so you need a younger joker and batman . hence the new voices in origin
Both Hamill and baker are both the joker. When Mark retires I hope Troy takes the mantle
+Austin Trench
Hamill already retired, as i remember he said that the only thing he might come back to do would be the killing joke (and hes making it now)
+juho aalto Hamill retired before Origins and he still came back for Knight. I'm not quite convinced he's retired yet.
+Aesahethr Hamill also will play on Star Citizen and Star Wars Episode 8 so i don't think this is the last of him
plus he said if another game by rocksteady with Batman will happen he will sure play him
Same. But when Kevin retires, I hope Bruce Greenwood takes up the Bat mantle.
+Austin Trench Yeah they're both almost the same thing, I can't tell the difference
My favorite voice actor. So flexible.
+SurgeOneGaming Well, Arkham Knight is Red Hood.
M. Chedderbeef SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
DrizzyPuffs Not really, the game's been out for 8 months. Not my fault if you didn't know that.
+M. Chedderbeef You shouldn't assume things lol
My favorite is Nolan North
Weird how now he's Telltale Batman.
***** Yeah, he has a very extended number of voices.
Lego Batman 3 isn't saying much. That game was full of terrible va, especially with Freeze and Superman.
He was Joker, Red Hood, Tim Drake, Dick Grayson and Batman. He's been about every popular character you can think of.
***** I don't care if they are, honestly.
+The One True Batman They ain't edgy af as Jason Todd
He has the laugh down to a science, Troy sounds amazing!
He really does sound like Mark Hamil if he was much much more younger.
That Electric Kid Or like Hamill in Batman The Animated Series season 1 where he was kind of young.
Kelsey Robinson I think he should be the next Joker
Fat Jesus 139 Bruh, he is the new Joker cuz Mark Hamill retired.
MostRandomKidOnBlock *spoiler*
Mark Hamill is in Arkham Knight
I had no idea troy could sound like hammil's joker. This gives me hope should anything happen to mark, we have troy. Mark, in my opinion, set the bar for joker's voice in animations. The fact that troy can come that close is fucking fantastic. U da man troy, u da man.
There is an interview where he says he based his interpretation on Hamill because he always liked it as a kid.
Mikhail Ramos he also kind of had to base his off hammill's joker because he's playing a slightly younger version of hammill's joker
Bobby Klein Also, and he nailed it. :)
actually Mark Hamill quit already.
If i'm not mistaken he officially said, he will no longer do the joker.
IcoKirov
Hamil did indeed quit, but he's stated in several interviews he would come back for one more performance for 'The Killing Joke', the Alan Moore story. A lot of fans have been pining for that for years, and Hamil, if I recall, said that's what made him love the Joker. So, if they ever did that, he'll do one last role, but aside from that, yeah, he's done.
www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JakeLester/news/?a=48850
Just so people don't think its bullshit. If you punch that same title into Google, you'll find a lot of other sites that cite the same thing.
Arkham Origins is a great game. It puts people off because it is a prequel and Hamill doesn't do the voice. But when I played it I was surprised how good it was. Especially with the Firefly boss fight.
Arkham origins was my first Arkham game and I liked it a lot
+JakePlaysGames you might as well play the other games when they release them with all the dlc
+StopFear I've played all of them and all the DLC, I started playing after Arkham Knight was tresses so I played all the games in chronological order- origins, asylum, city, and then knight
How was it a great game? It was boring as hell. The story was boring, Troy Baker tried way too fucking hard as the joker it was cringey and all the environments were ripped from arkham city. Origins doesn't hold a candle to any of the other arkham games.
+TwinPeaksCoffee it was a great game. just dont compare it to city because its a standalone game and has nothing to do with city or asylum. Different cast and different story. the game was great, the origin story of the joker and harley quin was great. boss fights were epic compared to the shitty version. of boss fights in knight and city. Deathstroke in a fucking tank??? really !!!! origins is great, only the city is a bit empty but thats a minor thing.
How the hell has Troy Baker not been cast to play The Joker in a live film yet? He's especially got the tall and slender look. Just throw on some white makeup, green hair, and a purple suit and he's good. His voice is just mesmerizing and spine tingling that it's intoxicating.
Because live action is mostly known for suckery
Holy shit this dude took some notes from Luke Skywalker
***** Well that's the point, he's playing the younger version of Hamill's Joker.
Caleb Witts Holy inspiration Batman
laflugantabastardo There is no cartoony Joker bro, but in animation world Di Maggio is very underrated. People don´t give him the credit. Can´t top Hamill but I take Di Maggio over Nickolson and Ledger.
+laflugantabastardo Are you kidding me? Hamill's laugh is menacing enough
+laflugantabastardo indeed. though it sounds like just a dumb rumor, it is apparently true that the reason tim curry was replaced on BTAS is he was too freaking scary. And it's easy to believe, knowing how he sounds sometimes.. hamill's joker wasn't scary SOUNDING, which is what made him even scarier. Like holy crap who IS this guy, how did he GET this way.. there's nothing scarier than a guy with access to high explosives who isn't taking anything around him very seriously, not even killing you.
He did a great job as the joker.
I usually hate it when the change voice actors like they did with splinter call but Troy sounds very similar to Mark.
Bakers not the joker we want but he's also not the one we deserve but he is the joker we need
After Mark Hamill, we need this guy as the new Joker.
Hard to believe he's also Revolver Ocelot.
Roger Craig Smith puts on a nice italian accent for ezio auditore but troy's the accent MASTER.
+Fodimin Layton “SirFodiminX” he is also vincent brooks from catherine
+Fodimin “SirFodiminX” Layton Right?!!
And Gul'dan in world of warcraft now.
+Joe Young his daughter
Name: Troy Baker.
Occupation: Zombie hunting psychopath.
Agreed
Holy shit, his Hamill is spot on O.O
***** hamill sounds old because.. well, he has litterly gotten old.
but i find the old. raspy joker voice to be more character rich. while baker is a little too smooth.. baker works fine as a younger joker
that was probably poorly explained, but yeh, i (personally) prefer hamill over baker
Merlith Gero I know Hamill's gotten old, but he could've sounded younger.
Baker works better as a younger joker, but probably not the Arkham City joker, because that joker was dying.
you explained it well enough.
***** oh, and i still think hamill has the best joker laugh
Merlith Gero I thought Baker's was the best, it sounded more psychotic than Hamill's.
Hamill is better in Originality.
***** Funny, I got the exact opposite feeling from the two. Hamill seems more natural to me, while I could always tell when Troy was struggling to mimic mark.
Troy is a voice acting badass in video games!! :D
Especially The Last of Us and Origins!!
and all the other 99999999999 games
I think Origins was when he started getting major respect as a voice actor. I didn't even realize that it wasn't Mark Hammil until the credits rolled in that game. Major props to making that classic Joker voice.
And BioShock
HOLY HELL. That voice is going to be in my nightmares.
It's official: the torch has been passed. Troy Baker is definitely a worthy successor to Mark Hamill. And I say that as a die-hard Mark Hamill fan.
Oh man I remember being there in person, this was amazing to hear.
Note; I can hear myself screaming "DO IT!" at 0:46 oh my god.
MyRecklessDesire You were the Shia LaBeouf of 2013 Comic-Con. Good on 'ya!
+MyRecklessDesire JUST DO IT!
Oh my me, I wanted to know who that was
dew it
MemeyLoaf mtn dew it
He would be an amazing Joker on the big screen!
Yes he would
He probably isn't a good at real acting, he probably just wants to stay as a voice actor
+JakePlaysGames no he did motion capture for the last of us which is pretty much acting, watch the grounded video for the making of the last of us
+Edxyyz 109 yea he would be great for acting
The guy to the left of him(his right) has the perfect face for the joker. Long face, pointy chin and nose... just picture him with the makeup on.
give him some make up and scars and put him in another batman movie
Scars? You do know all the Jokers other than Heath Ledgers don't have scares right?
I didn't say it was just Heath Ledger had scars, just that the vast majority don't
Tom Hooper You literally said ALL other Jokers didn't have scars. (edited cause I said that exact opposite of what I wanted to say haha)
I said "not all have the Jokers scars" I didn't say that "only Heath Ledger has scars" I am not trying to offend anyone I'm just making a point that some people only know the Joker through Heath Ledgers version (which was brilliant don't get me wrong) but I am saying that there are many other brilliant Jokers.
Tom Hooper "You do know all the Jokers other than Heath Ledgers don't have scares right?" Read your own comment. You blatantly said "all the Jokers."
Never ever did I feel 'Man, this game would've been better with Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy'
Such is the fidelity of the voice acting. Loved it every bit!
***** I'm aware of that. But, the voice acting by Troy Baker and Roger Smith has been spot on and I wouldn't mind if they'd continue as Batman and Joker in the future.
Troy Baker is so talented, just finished playing Shadow of Mordor and it was so surprising to see that it was Troy who did the voice of Talion.
The voice reminded me of Chris Hemsworth's 'Thor' when voicing Talion. He could so voice Thor in a marvel videogame.
If the next Transformers movie have Unicron in it, I want him to make a voice much more scarier than Orson Welles.
I knew i recognized that voice somewhere! XD
This guy is a true talented actor, he can pull off a lot of voices, some that I would not imagine, i applaud Troy Baker
Baker Joker is an even darker Hamill Joker..
..while Hamill Joker is a more playful Baker Joker
Either way.. Baker should be the one to take Hamill's torch as THE Joker :3
It's so hard imagining that this is the same guy that made Joel's voice in The Last of Us.
And then Snow in Final Fantasy XIII...
Meggie Russell and Booker from Bioshock Infinite.
Yeah, if that man could just rub off some talent onto me, that'd be great.
***** And Delsin Rowe from Infamous Second Son, and Male Voice 1 from Saints Row 3 and 4
okay i get it.
Holy shit,.. O.o Is it me or does he sound WAY too similar to Mark Hamil's Joker?
thats the plan actually, they wanted to find young version of both batman and jokers voice actors
Then Jesus F'ing Christ he's so damn good,.. :P
And he nailed it. He nailed it HARD!
Andrew Vrba Giggity,..
I thought meh, noone is as awesome as mark, but when he started I dropped my phone. Holy cow
One of THE greatest voice actors of our era people!
I love videos where we can watch the voice actor do the voice.
mark hamill is first place on joker
troy baker second
third still unknown
John DiMaggio?
+Paul Schauer nah, his laugh is good but his voice as a joker is not convincing
+Sam Caballero I've seen a movie him as joker I think he did good
+Adrian Mendoza Heath ledger
lets not forget Jack Nicholson XD
Literally brought tears to my eyes! Troy is officially my idol voice actor.
Hamill for the win
The Original Judwan Hamell will always be in my heart, good sir; the fact that you have to comment that brings tears to my nipples....wait.
Me too :)
Whatever
***** He is very close to Hamil's Joker
HOLY SHIT! Troy Baker nailed the Jokers voice DOWN!
GREAT JOB MAN!
Troy baker fucking legend!
Me and you look alike.
Indeed.
Wow... How can a voice be soooo hot?!! Troy is the hero of our hearts and ears
That laugh at the end chills
I remember hearing about Hamill not playing The Joker in Origins & I myself, like most fans, was pissed. But Troy Baker played an awesome joker! If Hamill does officially retire as The Joker, at least we have someone who can't step up.
Wow. He almost sounds like Mark Hamill's Joker. Nicely done. I wonder if he plans to voice Joker on any of the cartoons later on?
I hear a few voice clips. He sounds pretty good. I know Adam Sessler said that it was a good fit for him. Troy Baker's normal character is like the Joker. Must have been a class clown in school. Funny.
Troy Baker could probably do a live action Joker
He has all the physicality and voice of the joker that he could of course play it on the Suicide Squad! I wonder if Jared Leto took classes with him or something! He's amazing and handsome ;) Can't wait to see Jared Leto as the joker!! My favorite villain of all time!
Did you hear that it's now confirmed that Mark Hamill will indeed voice the Joker for The Killing Joke animated film?!?!?! Are we in Heaven?
BODDENERGON we are in heaven!! and yes!! I can't wait! Batman Vs Superman, Suicide Squad and now this! DC Comics will kick some ass next year!!
Marcia Pze Although I'm also very excited for Captain America Civil War, it will get its ass kicked by DC along with Dr. Strange too.
BODDENERGON Have to admit that I truly had my Marvel phase but now, I think DC Comics makes me more excited. Simply because I have always loved Batman! I can't wait to watch Civil War though, Iron Man is my favorite! Damn 2016 will be a GREAT year!
Marcia Pze Iron Man is one of my favorites of Marvel besides Daredevil, but my other favorite, Spiderman will also be in it!
A) You're a random person watching this online. Your knowledge is not anymore credible than the next guy.
B) This is his first time voicing the Joker. He'll get better through the years. Just like Mark.
@@flightrisk1047 crazy how few comments there are
I wasn't expecting that. That was fucking awesome.
Mark Hamill was always my favorite Joker, and when I heard he was retiring his role as the Joker, I was heartbroken. When I learned that the Joker was in the new Arkham game, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't going to be Mark. But then I heard Troy's Joker and found myself with a smile on my face and a chill down my spine, just as the Joker should always leave you with. I hope that Troy Baker will continue to play the Joker throughout his career and spread the joy of mayhem.
We just found a replacement for the Mark Hamill Joker, if Mark needs to step down get Troy Baker.
Shit... Troy Baker would be the GOD of prank calls.
Though he's not Mark Hamill, he still gives me goosebumps :)
I still haven't gotten to the Joker in Arkham Origins yet. So I don't even want to watch this. But the few seconds I watched was amazing. Awesome job Troy!
This doesn't included anything from Origins. It's a monologue from the Killin Joke a comic book that came out in the 80s
I know. The other guy told me. Thanks though. I'm avoiding playing that game for some reason. I have been playing BF4 and don't have time to play anything else. Even though BF4 is complete garbage, I'm hoping it gets fixed. Maybe I can spend that time playing it.
Aki79 Trust me it's a great game and it has an ok multiplayer
I've watched this like 10 times and I'm still not sick of it.
Bioshock Infinite, then The Last of Us and now even Joker. DAYUM SON TROY U ON A ROLL :D
And now Ibn Batuta
Big Mike Ibn Batuta is the next Uncharted and you know it.
Don't forget Saints Row 3 and 4!
And Snow from Final Fantasy XIII and Kanji from Persona 4.
Big Mike HAHAHAHAHAHA TOO FUNNY. yet true
He's so good
so good that I'm starting to think he's just mouthing the words to a recording of Mark Hamil's voice.
Troy Baker epitomises versatility
there's a joker living inside his larynx lol
Troy Baker my good man I solute u
...okay then....I found that rant of yours rather random in all honesty
Gamez1985 Just post a video proving it, nobody needs to hear your excuses, no matter how humble they may be...
3:34 Holy cow, how tall is Troy?!!!
About 6'3
MrMyster1ous Thanks. For a moment I thought he was 6' 8''. I gues the guys next to him are just short ha ha.
HistoryGuru1234 yep, they're just short :D same thoughts here
Thanks for the comment!
Troy is about 6'3'' and Roger Craig Smith is approx. 5'6'' ... So yeah :P he is pretty tall, and they are pretty short
This monologue gave me chills jesus. Mark Hamill's on the other hand wasn't so creepy in the Killing Joke movie.
Ik I was waiting to hear hamills version as his joker is the best but when I heard it I was so underwhelmed like Troy did it 10x better
+Damian Charleston Watch the one where he did that live
I think it's because in the comics he is meant to say it as as a joke and fail it
Dude. How did such a gift find its way into his voice? omg. It's the perfect imitation.
Holy shit! That was spectacular
If you're complaining that he sounds too much like Mark Hamill, it's because that's how he's supposed to sound. I'm sure that if they wanted him to do something new with it, he'd blow the fuck out of our minds.
Yeah he's supposed to sound like a young version of the Arkhamverse Joker, it's obvious he'd sound like Hamill.
Let's face it, Heath Ledger did a good creepy fucked Joker, but comics Joker had more theatrics, more humor to it. Mark Hamill is the fucking Joker so if someone like Troy Baker emulates him, there is nothing wrong with that and he did an amazing job.
3:19 for the laugh
DEWITT! DEWITT! DEWITT! DEWITT! DEWITT! DEWITT!
troy is a legend, I love him so much.
Delsin Rowe.
Joel.
Joker.
Jason Todd.
Sam Drake.
Booker DeWitt.
Two-Face.
Erron Black.
Shinnok.
Talion.
Revolver Ocelot.
Pagan Min.
absolute legend.
Kinda crazy how much batman stuff he's done.
He's been both Jason Todd and Dick Grayson, he's been the Joker, he's been Batman, Mad Hatter, Two-Face. Dude's great.
Troy also did voices for batman. And did a damn good job.
Ariful Karim Actually that was Roger Craig Smith
ilikethecokev2 2 look up Lego batman.
Ariful Karim
Oh, I thought you meant in Origins, my bad.
Ariful Karim not up to the level Mark Hamill
2016, mark Hamill's Killng Joke monologue....
im sorry troy, but Mark... is way and beyond on a different level
but Troy you did an excellent job too.
troys sounded more aggressive than Marks whereas Marks was more chilling to the bone XD
True dat. They are like two different sides of the Joker the aggressive one and the creepy as hell one. It would be kinda interesting to see them do a schizophrenic joker where they both do the voice for him.
But mark won't be the joker forever, I wouldn't mind troy being the joker after mark retires
I have to say that I like Trooy's monologue more
I disagree, parts of the killing joke sounded obvious Mark Hamill was reading off the page......there was even tiny half second pauses in 2 or 3 Killing Joke lines, where Hamill had to read ahead.
Hamills' best Joker performance is and always will be his work in the Arkham video games and/or Batman Beyond Return Of The Joker
He's played Batman, Nightwing, Robin (Time Drake), and The Joker. Dude's legend.
Love how Baker is so influenced by Hamill. Every crack and change of tone is trying to capture what Hamill did in BAS and the Arkham games. Even though Hamill dropped the ball in the movie, he's still the biggest reference for The Joker.
I think it started when he was gettign the job as Joker replacement in Arkham Origins, then he just worked on that. And of course, him watching BTAS as a kid certainly helped in Hamill being "the" joker for Troy to want to imitate.
"Hamill dropped the ball in the movie"
What movie?
TKJ
xinic5 The Killing Joke. The final monologue seems a bit off, too fast paced.
Hoztyle
Sorry for acting like a dumbass... What monologue? The Joke, or the "bad day" portion?
I do agree, they could have spent more time with the Killing Joke, a lot of it did seemed rushed to me. They could have slowed it down, and expanded the run time to emphasize scenes, instead of having that Batgirl "intro" that so many hated (I didn't mind it, but I don't really read Batman outside of Joker appearances.)
this guy is fucking talented. well can't compare it with mark but he is too good at this age and this stage.. i like the joker in arkham origins and the batman dude too. very well acting (y)
omg that laugh at the end literally gave me chills troy is an amazing joker
That was amazing.
Love his Joker laugh!
Now that Mark Hamill will voice the Joker in the Killing joke as well...I can die happy.
who else is watching this in 2015, and watched it more than once? =)
If he were the joker in suicide squad it would had truly been the joker in flesh and blood
He totally should have played the Joker in the new Suicide Squad movie. That would have been so amazing.
White Wolf Troy Baker's a really busy guy, I guess. Getting tons of great work in video games. Otherwise maybe he would have been?
Well a voice actor and movie actor are very different so he might not want to act
Ahh troy you are so amazing!!!
I met this guy at the London comic con in October last year! He's so AWSOME!
Mark Hamill and Troy Baker should do a conversation between Old Joker and Young Joker which would be epic
^THIS!!!!!
I find it weird how alike Troy Baker's Joker and Mark Hamill's Joker are
Obviously, Hamill set the tone for Joker's voice, and Baker emulates it.
In full context, Troy Baker heard Mark hamill's and wanted to go for a younger version of Mark Hamill's Joker , to emulate a version of his verison in simple form .
Baker is a legend. He's been doing awesome stuff since 2005. He can't do wrong in my book!
Troy Baker looks so happy at 3:24, he must have so nervous about whether people would like him being Mark Hamil's replacement.
The reason why he sounds like Mark's joker is because he is basically playing a younger version of Mark's joker because he DOSE sound like Mark Hamill from the early days of Batman the animated series when he just started playing the role, it's not as raspy as the joker from asylum and city because this version is meant to be based around Batman's second year of being Batman so he's younger, when the joker apparently first appeared in Gotham, so kinda like Tim Burton's Batman (1989) exsept without Grissom or a giant vat of acid... Yeah they could of gone with a different take or came up with an original but then no one would be saying "he sounds like Mark's joker" because that's the whole point of him kinda sounding like Mark's joker.... I would only approve of a different take on the voice if in another game not connected to the Arkham series. Like Injustice or Mortal Combat vs. DC Universe. Plus he played Two Face and Robin (Tim Drake) in Arkham City! "Your mind has been blown..."
I never believed anyone can match Hamil as Joker, but Troy did the impossible, he kept the looney toons atmosphere of Hamil's Joker but also gave it the dark chaotic twist that we saw from Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight. His performance in Origins just blew me away, he was actually terrifying! I was so worried about the new generation of voice actors for two of my favorite characters (Batman and Joker) and i am so happy with how it turned out! I just hope these two will start being the regulars for all the movies and shows in the future the way Conroy and Hamil were.
why don't we have an animated killing joke movie yet?
***** rating
eiji niizuma Yup. They can't really hide the stuff that would be censored in a movie as much as they can in a comic.
ArkayneShad0w itd be the first nc17 DC animated movie
eiji niizuma Which wouldn't exactly get a good response from, well most people, really.
Nah i'd say it'd be really good
Troy Baker is a boss!!
that's funny because he's one of the voices you can choose in staints row for the boss
I was so worried when Mark said he wouldn't voice The Joker anymore, I thought no one would be able to be as good as him. I'm happy to say that I was wrong. Troy Baker surprises us once again and delivers this amazing voice acting. He is incredibly talented. And he deserves to be the new Joker.
Booker is back :D
Joel is back?
Greed from Fullmetal Alchemist is back? xD
Male voice one is back?
I'm still waiting for the killing joke movie adaptation. This guy is awesome. I mean he's not mark hamill but does that really make him bad I feel he was great and a worthy succesor. So I keep asking when are they gonna make the killing joke animated and with troy as the joker!?
This is incredible! And what a year it's been for him too! Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us and now THIS.
would like to see troy baker in motion pictures. maybe the next joker since heath is no longer with us rip.
And to think this guy voiced Joel in The Last of Us. Insane.
Yeah, hes an incredibly talented voice actor
And the Boss in Saints Row.
1:47 you can hear a Joker laugh in the audience
In terms of the game, yeah, I kind of agree. Mark has a better performance when comparing Baker's game to Hamill's cartoon performances though. Either way, Troy is badass.
He have fantastic voice
This was GOLD! Before I played "Arkham Origins," I watched this and I was instantly sold on Troy Baker. He BECAME the Joker (figuratively speaking).
Talent. Bravo.
Wouldn't it be awesome if he is cast as the new joker in the future movies :)
This guy gave such a brilliant performance as joker I really wish he showed up more.
"JOKER, CATCH!"
Call of Duty : Ghosts, snoop-dog voice pack? Where the eff is my troy baker voice pack??
He was the Navy Seal announcer in Black Ops II
OHVImedia he's dude in advanced warfare....
Jacob Twitchell I know... Look at when I posted that comment...
Yeah and they announced that game back in may... you had time.

If I were making a film version of the killing joke; I would definitely cast Troy baker as the joker, though my version of the killing joke would be rated R, I would make it very realistic

Memory's so treacherous. One moment you're lost in a carnival of delights with poignant childhood aromas, the flashing neon of puberty, all that sentimental candy floss. The next it leads you somewhere you don't want to go: somewhere dark and cold, filled with the damp, ambiguous shapes of things you'd hoped were forgotten. Memories can be vile, repulsive little brutes like children I suppose. But can we live without them? Memories are what reason is based upon, if we can't face them we deny reason itself. Although why not? We are not contractually tied down to rationality. There is no sanity clause. So next time you're locked in an unpleasant train of thought heading down the places in your past where the screaming is unbearable, remember, there is always madness. Madness is the emergency exit. You can step outside and close the doors on all those dreadful things that happened. You can lock them away forever.
