By the time the 2000s rolled around, their album sales decreased and Mike vanished from the group. I was Mike’s waitress back in the day at Moody’s on the Pike in Philly . He was very nice and left me a generous tip. Something I’ll never forget. I pray everything works out for him and children.

I know they felt stupid when "I'll Make Love to You" became one of the biggest hits. They needed to give Babyface an apology for how they treated him. Yes, their first album was successful but they wasn't as successful as Babyface.
Babyface and L.a.Reid also wrote End of the road.
in their behind the music interview and in several subsequent interviews when asked about it Shawn always mentions that they tucked their tails in their legs and called him to apologize. They been cool and never doubted him ever since. seems to me everybody else likes bringing it up though, especially after that Dallas Austin interview
I don't think they disrespected him personally, but I do know they weren't feeling the song and not because it wasn't good but it had the same type vibe as "End Of The Road" but they have worked with Babyface plenty of times since then even after Motown. Marc Nelson also wrote songs with and for Babyface and his artists which is how he became a part of Az Yet, Az Yet were signed to LaFace and were put together by Babyface. Which is why that didn't last, there was no chemistry or brotherhood there by them being put together as a group and not naturally formed into a group

Mike is the sweetest one out of the group. My friends took pictures with him and he wasn't stuck up. They were touring with Mc Hammer and TLC back then.
I think the other 3 members egos were a lil hit by Michael's voice and attractiveness. Plus, he always seemed to be the most down to earth and friendliest of the group. I wish him well and I pray that gets his time to shine again 🙏🏽✨

I was really hurt when Michael was no longer in the group. I just expect to hear his bass voice in the songs and nobody can duplicate him. Since they're supposed to be full grown men now, they need to sit down in person and talk to each other about what happened and what needs to happen. I'd love to see him rejoin them. It's just not the same without him.

I know, one of my best friend's brother has lived with MS all of his life. I haven't bought an album by then since their second album because I heard the stories. Friends of mine who met them over the years can speak to that fact. Battling back to back major illnesses plus therapy informs you who are the real friends and family in your life especially when money is involved!
MS is a bitch. I've lost my job,woman, ability to drive, ability to stand longer than 10 mins(if that),I'm 39 using a cane/walker and bathroom problems. I can go on but... MS is a beast that's tore me up, especially in the head. Thankfully my kids keep me sane. All you can do is stay strong and battle on.

My bff Jason live in Calli and he has a home girl that was a video model. The things Misty said about the brothers was shocking. Wayne thinking he was the shit likes to go after Nate's girls. She wasn't interested in Nate like that but they exchanged numbers and kept in touch. Wayne was doing what competitive young men do and they ended up fighting, like for real. Thats how she knew Nate was fed up because they were platonic although it was obvious he wanted more. She's actually in Mint Conditions video Whoa. It happened around that time because they were on tour.

Mike ALWAYS stood out to me. I do remember when he used a cain and he walked with a slight limp; but he was so Rico Suave about it you can see he didn't let that hinder anything. As soon as he started talking in his bass boosted, big tree stump dck voice I was like "Wanya, Shawn, Nathan WHO??" LOL! He also has a nice smile. I like that he was loyal to the band and he didn't dip out the first chance he got. God bless him for that.😁

Don't know how true this is but one thing I noticed is that everyone that worked with them complained about their inflated egos after becoming successful. Your gift and ambition as well as drive to succeed is essential and important but your character is the foundation that everything else is built on. Basically a lousy character can bring everything else crashing down...

Growing up an 80’s baby and a pre-teen/teen of the 90’s, B2M were LITERALLY the soundtrack of my LIFE!!! I always wondered what happened to them as a group and Mike and for some reason, I always compared them to not only the Temptations, but in being more specific, Mike to Melvin of the Temptations. From his beautiful deep singing voice and even down to his medical condition. I thought he and Melvin had the same condition/disease. So great hearing his story! You never let us down and always provide us with truthful and informative content!
They are one of the few groups that didn’t try to replace an original member, that is truly a rarity in that business❤️.

The duo of Tim&Bob, whom was given the major task by Dallas Austin to produce that sophomore album, which became their most highlighted award winning album.
Without “Bass” Mike, there’s no Boyz ll Men. What a shame to hear they haven’t been humble as they should have been. Be humble & grateful! Get MIKE back & start making sweet music again already!

Dallas Austin don't get enough acknowledgement. He was apart of the shift in production in the music sene coming into the early 90's, hip hop r&b and rap was changed. Give that man his flowers, TLC, ABC (another bad creation) ect. He was most definitely apart of the sound of the early to mid 90's alone with Teddy Ralley, Jermaine Dupre and Dr.dre.

Mike was my absolute favorite member ! Bay-beeee..you don't even understand LOL... As a Phillygirl in the 90s, I was around their age, and I was obsessed with Boyz to Men & everyone knew it... and man I had the HUGEST crush on Mike. I had all their albums- in English & Spanish . It’s funny how life turns out, the irony is that years later - I wound up having his son as my student in class! Crazy right ?! This was a great video- very eye opening 🌟 I wish him the best...he seems like a really nice guy!

Chronic health problems like MS are EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to live with. Once the systems show, your life is not the same in Any capacity. Healthy people don't understand... they needed to be more empathetic to Mike's situation.
Hard to do that when the person isn't being honest with what's going on with them.

Hi, I'm a true fan of Boys to Men, I'm an old head, old group singer from Philly that never made in the business. I always love the baritone and bass tones and Mike had it. I met Mike at his son's 10th birthday party in NJ, as a matter of fact, I was the DJ (aka DJ TC). All I can say is sometimes you have to let by gones be by gones. I truly wish Mike the best in his health and life, but I really wish you would again be part of Boys to Men, that voice is truly missing, come on Mike, make history!

Out of all the boys, Mike was always my favorite bass singer. I'll give you that, but overall, I do hope that Boys2Men will keep staying together throughout anything else. In my eyes, they always had a type of brotherhood together. Stay strong boys, and every one else too. Stay strong. We are in this thing together, and the sad part about having ME is that it's both unpredictable and there is no cure for it yet. I know because both me and my mom have it as well. Stay Strong. 🙏
