I’m playing something like rags to riches except for I’m calling it. Humble beginnings so the story is he graduated from high school and his parents didn’t give him the option for college. They brought him a plot of land left him with $3000. He furnished his plot with a tent, a small little building that has a sink the easel in a cooler in it, a punching bag, a little table and chair and he also brought his dog with him so he had to buy a feeder everything he got from thrifty. There was already a bush on the lot for him to use the restroom and now all his money is completely gone so he’ll have to go out in Oasis Springs do some fishing whatever he can to make money. He’ll also have to use his money t to buy an empty home, furnish it and then start a career either the scientist police career doctor, or you have a retail shop. I’m also going to make him take a class for cooking. That’s why I didn’t buy him a grill or a stove because I feel like he don’t know anything and his parents just left him out here like OK you graduated here you go you figure it out and they told him son this is what we all have to do so when you have a child, they’ll have to do the exact same thing to build themselves up to to make money like you guys live a nice good life when you’re in the house but once you’re done if you don’t get anything out of that that’s on you you can even go to college if you want but you got to figure out how you’re gonna do it because we’re not paying for it. This will teach you how to be a man and I suggest you find a woman that’s going to have your back to thinking then, so also he hast to find a girlfriend that’s going to be there for him.

away from my first comment. Rags to Riches sounds like it could merg nicely with the legacy challenge. Which I quite like the idea of so I might have to start my game over. Good thing I wasn't off of the first generation aha!

me starting to have a break down towards the end realising the rags to riches is more complicated that I thought. I don't have ANY packs though so does that mean I can ONLY make money of things like painting? If I merge it with Legacy challenge with long life sims, can the next gen have a normal job?

I was reading the rules for the rags to riches challenge and one of them is no hobby money, but everyone uses fishing… Like do they not know fishing is a hobby?

There are so many variations of the challenge and people can pick and choose to play however they want. There is no “official” rags to riches challenge.

Sorry but this isn't a real rags to riches, the real one you don't get to start using your phone until you have the money for it, and you can sell items out of your inventory in the start because you wouldn't have the convenience of a phone from the start if you are supposed to start with nothing, or else it doesn't make much sense to be called rags to riches now does it lol. i mean you can play it however you want, but the real way is with nothing from the start

Are we now gatekeeping Sims 4 challenges? 😂😂 You can change the challenge to fit your gameplay style. There is no "real" rags to riches lol
