my sister helped me put together my first fan troll in about 10 minutes and she is the most hideous thing on the planet and I love her very much. remember the rules are ALWAYS optional and if someone tells you your troll is wrong just tell them to fuck off because you make your own goddamn rules I ALMOST FORGOT TO SAY!!!!!!!!!! this is a really nice video! the commentary is nice and your art style is great. subbed!

I've lately been getting really into fantrolls, I've never been an artist but this video singlehandedly inspired me to learn how to draw purely because farrago fiction is so goddamn annoying to use
character design isn't all just vibes and ideas! the "there's no such thing as a wrong decision" mentality can only take you so far - especially when applied to the realm of style mimicry, which this video is explicitly aimed at. as far as making comic-accurate trolls goes, there are established rules and aesthetic choices.
My sincere thank you for these videos. You're one of my favorite artists overall for your dedicated study on mspa art styles. I saw you're doing a comp sci program - if you'd ever like an interdisciplinary compsci grad's perspective, I'd love to chat. I'm starting to finally get back into art myself and I want to study and figure out what really makes the sbahj art styles work and see if I could design an algorithmic approach.
Wow. I literally adored watching this so much. You are insanely talented and i'm annoying so I'm trying to figure out what setup/program you have that gets your lines to manipulate like that. Looking for something for myself, yknow? Just overall this is super cool.
I absolutely love clowns (If that wasn't obvious. . .) and I think more people should make clown OCs of any color blood, not just purple. I have a teal blood OC who is idk what to call it but their like a juggalo for the juggalo cult and pretends to be a purple blood so they can be a "real clown" but in reality everybody knows and is plotting the best way to murder them :] (sorry I now no one cared I'm just in a generally positive mood right now and I promise i'm not saying that just for attention-)
admittedly i haven't really used firealpaca since making this video. i heard from a friend that an update a little after it broke the brush, i have yet to figure out a new way to do it. soz

you can do the same thing they did in the video but make it a 2-4 pixel thing instead of a 1 pixel thing. worked for me.

what tablet do you use? i'm stuck (lmao) with no other option than to buy one since none of the programs i've seen have mouse support.
at the time of recording this video, i was using a Wacom Intuos Draw CTL490. these days i use an Intuos Pro, but that's a hell of a lot more expensive
UPDATE: i got a nice tablet. i'm drawing somewhat well now. Will keep practicing :3 Thank you for the tips.
