    Good tip for those who don't know. I have the Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals and I use the Next Level DD wheel stand along with my Fanatec CSW 2.5 wheelbase. I use an elastomer mod with my pedals to replace the springs, and use the calibration software to adjust the brake force to suit my needs.

      How do you like the Thrustmater Load Cells overall? Are they 'worth a buy'?

    • @blklion100
      @blklion100 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kylerobinson6102 I like them. I initially bought them to replace the T3PA pedals that I got with my T300. When I switched to the CSW 2.5, there was no need for me to switch the CSL Elite or the Clubsport v3. I was an early adopter, having pre-ordered them when they were first announced. I haven't had any issues with them. I race on both pc and console, again with no issues.

    Been holding off on these for this exact reason. in fact my situation is a little worse because i have an aftermarket pedal tray for my playseat challenge. Basically it just has a sort of rail that the front leg of the challenge rests on and stops it from moving backwards, but its not physically connected, so tilting is still an issue, even with my regular brake pedal on the CSL pedals. Been trying to come up with a solution, but this works!

    Hey Karl, hope you get to read this…As many of us are ordering the CSL DD pro with load cell pedals for ps5 as it just released and is anticipated for major use with the awaited Gran Turismo 7, and for the use of portability, many of us need a foldable rig. Is it possible for you to make a video with the F-GT lite using the load cell pedals and CSL dd and compare the same setup with the Play seat challenge. I’m sure that video will gain a TON of traction towards your channel. my main objective is making sure which rig handles the CSL DD with fanatec load cell pedals better & to see you review them both back to back would great. Even if you can solely review the above with just the FGT lite , showing us which position to have the pedals to reduce seat lift and all of that good stuff, ect. Would be super helpful for us all as you have all the equipment mentioned above. Thanks!

    The other thing is mounting the pedals on the Playseat challenge. Because there is no supporting rod on these pedals you'll have to have the throttle and brake somewhat close together to meet the back piece of the Playseat. I'd like to see you do a video on how you set them up. Two and three pedal version.

  • @pailoxdd

    The easiest way to make it stop lifting while braking hard is to put some weights on the piece thats connecting the seat and the pedals, weight plates are great if you have some. I personally just use a sixpack of water bottles

    I have an Playseat Challenge and the t-lcm brakes. Works fine with a couple of simple mods. Pedal tray is done for as the threads on the plastic knobs holding it in place has begun to fail. Almost no flex with the pedals but horrible flex on the wheel plate itself. I need something more sturdy haha.

      I don't have a PS5 mate so I couldn't say.
      The PSC just uses a big velcro strap (which I don't actually have) so I guess you'll just have to use that mate?

      @@LadrimSlump Thanks for sharing the video but I think the pedals in the video are the old CSL ones so not sure if the new ones will have the same holes as those to use to fix it with zip ties etc. unfortunately. As mentioned by other’s comments, I am not sure the Velcro strap will be big enough and as the pedals have no end plate at the front I am thinking they will likely shift around - this is my concern at least.

    • @KarlGosling
      @KarlGosling  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

  • @racingenjoyer
    @racingenjoyer 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Thanks for the video, I love your Playseat challenge videos. I have one more question. Once I would regulate the maximum force, so the middle of the chair doesn't lift off when braking. What about these 2 red knobs/screws that are holding the regulation of the pedals length from the chair? These are made from plastic and they hold enough for me when using T3PA. But will they do enough to hold the Fanatec Load cell? Or will I need to compensate even more? Or should I ask - What would happen first when putting pressure on the brake pedal, the middle of the chair would lift off or these 2 red screws won't hold enough to withstand the force I would put on the brake pedal? Unfortunately I can't put it near the wall or something, to make it stable. It's just standing in the middle of room sort of.
