Thanks great video, I didn't know about using Gusta for 2+ verbs in the infinitive and hadn't noticed the possible confusion with gustas, it seems so appropriate for it to refer to the Tu conjugation and not singular or plural use, so you have cleared that up for me. Asi' que muchas gracias Steve
#2 it's le gustas...It was a tricky one (Diana is what David likes). In a few weeks, I'm going to be recording a video on verbs like gustar where I explain more about how to conjugate these verbs and why they work the way they do 🙂
@@TellMeInSpanishEng Yea. The reason I had 🤔. What is Oye? Also, would le gusta work? I can't figure out why it is gustas. I understand the section where you explained me gustas tú, but gustas here flew over my head.
It seems like verbs such as gustar or encantar are what we would call passive voice in english. “You are liked by me”. the object performs the action upon the subject.
We also have passive voice in Spanish and it works exactly like you said: "Las manzanas son comidas por mí". If we wanted to do a literal translation with verbs like gustar, it would be closer to "The movie is pleasing to me = Me gusta la película". But as you can tell, it's kind of awkward🙂
I always get nosotros and nos confused. What are the difference between them? I see sentences that start with “ nosotros nos…) or just ( nos ). Thank you so much for your videos I really learn alot from them
'Nosotros' is a subject pronoun, as in 'Nosotros comemos mucho.' With 'gustar,' however, we use indirect object pronouns, as in 'Nos gusta comer.' You might also see sentences like 'A nosotros nos gusta comer.' In this case, the phrase 'A nosotros' adds extra emphasis, but the preposition 'a' is crucial; without it, the sentence would be incorrect. 🙂I think this lesson can help: th-cam.com/video/iK5Ztrxwrz4/w-d-xo.html
That's a great question! To avoid confusion, it's better to conjugate separately: 'Me gusta el libro' and 'Me gustan las películas.' However, if you're already comfortable with 'gustar,' you can conjugate based on the first item you mention. For example, 'Me gusta el libro y las películas'.
Jesus is the light of the world, He is Lord. every knee shall bow every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. do seek Him. He loves you. Matthew 6:33 King James Version 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

what happens when you say Me gusta el libro y los peliculas is it supposed to be gustan or gusta for this situation?
