Then maybe you could explain it to me? All I got is that 'a mi', 'a ti', etc. simply puts an emphasis on what you like, i.e. "I like college football" vs. "I LIKE COLLEGE FOOTBALL". If that was it, it could have been taught in 30 seconds.
Usually your videos are easy to understand but this gave me more questions than answers and I feel like it is not complete. Can you explain in another video why "me gustas", "te gusto", "os gustamos", "me gustáis" etc? The endings are confusing to me since you only used "gusta" and "gustan".

Why can't I say "me gustan correr"? When I have an object, I have multiple of options: me gustan las manzanas, me gustas tu. With a verb you only advise to use "me gusta".
@@jamesfahy2935 Oh … English is not my first language :) The word “to please” is not common in English, we as non-native English speakers don’t “feel” this word and barely understand examples with it.
In order to get the ridiculous but funny "yo gusta" out of the picture, it is much better to go back to the hidden logic of "me gusta", which can be done in 3 simple steps: 1. Algo gusta a mí 2. Me gusta algo 3. Me gusta (whatever) It is very likely that in the student's mother tongue 'to like' and 'to please' work in opposite directions, just like 'querer' and 'gustar' in Spanish.
