Last year we began a series where patients volunteer to share their stories to help those that might just be starting their recovery journey. Even long-term, stable patients can benefit from identifying with someone else in a similar situation as themselves. We hope you enjoy this latest installment in the "For Patients, By Patients" series with Casey's story.
If you are interested in sharing your story, now or in the future, please reach out to our counseling staff. The only requirements are that you are active in the program, that you have one year or more of sobriety, not necessarily all while in our program, and that you complete a privacy release.
And many thanks to Casey for sharing her story with others. It is so moving and inspirational to hear recovery success stories like hers! Keep up the GREAT work!
