Virginia Law was my dream school. I was not accepted on the first try. I went to a regional law school, finished 8th in my class, proved to the U.Va. admissions folks that they were wrong, and transfered to Virginia where I received my J.D. If attending U.Va. is important to you, never quit!! Go to a lesser school (aren't they all?), prove that you are smart enough to cut it at Virginia, and transfer. Then, after you are accepted, don't forget to drop the Admissions Committee a line telling them how wrong they were about your application the first time!!
