    You can do some live streams from your new tent? Well at least it's nice and dry in there. It sounds like it's been raining there all day.

    The poles are fiberglass I'm pretty sure correct they couldn't be carbon fiber or aluminum 81 would be better but fiberglass is heavy but they're pretty durable if they're made well...

    • @hangarfiftyone3527

      the poles are very heavy about 35 pounds and have to flex a lot they don't look carbon fiber to me, very thick thanks for the comment hope my video was helpful

    Hey thanks for the info I’m planning to buy this tent 🏕 how well does it due in windy conditions

    • @hangarfiftyone3527
      @hangarfiftyone3527  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      mine has handled VERY windy days like a champ! had a storm one night 30-40mph winds and it pulled a couple stakes out of the ground but was still standing

    How does it hold up in rain? It looks like the rain would puddle at the bottoms of the window covers.

    • @hangarfiftyone3527
      @hangarfiftyone3527  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      IT DOES GREAT IN THE RAIN, NO PROBLEM WITH THE WINDOWS ; VERY HEAVY WIND AND RAIN WILL GET A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF RAIN THREW THE ROOF COVER BUT IT'S AMAZING HOW WELL IT HANDLES IT. I REALLY LIKE THIS TENT

    How does this hold up in wind and rain is it water proff. #Camptons lol

    • @hangarfiftyone3527
      @hangarfiftyone3527  ปีที่แล้ว

      held up very well threw a micro burst and heavy winds ; not water proof but less then a 1/4 cup of water in whole tent during 30 mph winds and rain

    IT"S HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when it's packed away does it take 2 people to move it?

    • @hangarfiftyone3527
      @hangarfiftyone3527  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      it weighs about 60 lbs all together but I pack the tent polls separately to make it about a 30 30 split

    Wondering if it ended up leaking after all that rain.

    • @hangarfiftyone3527
      @hangarfiftyone3527  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      well I've used it a bunch of times now (most weekends ) and it has only leaked a small amount when it's very windy; this is my first tent but I would guess most tents would leak some in storm conditions

  • @ayejay317
    @ayejay317 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did it leak when it rained? Did you scotchgard it? If so how many cans did you need?

    • @hangarfiftyone3527
      @hangarfiftyone3527  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not scotch guard it ; only leaked once during a VERY windy night 30-40 MPH winds less the 1oz of water in whole tent came in through windows

    I'm thinking about getting this tent. Someone is selling it locally for $130 brand new
