Hey guys, editor here again! As a reminder, Tsubasa has not yet played the DLC for Xenoblade 3, so please refrain from spoiling anything from Future Redeemed in the comments! I hope you enjoy the video!

For those who missed it in the description, this video was written and recorded fairly soon after the last video on Xenoblade 3 came out. Unfortunately, Poyo and I were in our last semester of college, so it was difficult to finish. We both graduated now, which gave us time to finally finish up this video.

Xenoblade 3 is my favorite game ever, and you really explained perfectly why I feel it's one of the most human and powerful stories I've ever experienced. One of the best videos about Xenoblade I've seen yet.

9:20 Persona 3 puts in perspective nicely too. "Time never waits. It delivers all equally to the same end. You, who wish to safeguard the future, however limited it may be... You will be given one year; go forth without falter, with your heart as your guide..."

Great video! Xenoblade Chronicles was always a game I admired from afar but seemed too daunting. I ended up playing through XC2 before XC. Didn’t play XC until the remake came out for Switch. By the time XC3 arrived I was a huge fan. Now XC is my favorite RPG series. The stories these games tell and interweave are unmatched. The characters, the worlds, the music, the combat. I love it all. Congrats on graduating from college as that’s a milestone within itself. Just keep pressing forward as that’s all any of us can really do. Can’t wait to see what Monolith has in store for us.

Notice that Aionios world is a stimulated world. The only thing capable of manipulate reality was the Conduit/Zohar that Klaus used and separated xeno 1 and 2 planet earths, in the end of 2 with Klaus death and the conduit vanished, witch was the thing that are keeping them separated, out of fear of the end of the world by universes colliding they built origin in a hurry, not to stop time cause the trinity core crystals where man made and don't have this power. So out of Malos/Logos core crystal Unity was made to digitize people's consciences, just like Klaus said in 2 that the core crystal technology was first conceived to act as brain cells in the foolish human persue for immortality, they where repurposed in 2 to become blades and Titans. And in 3 to become a massive computer. Inside the simulation they endeed would have absolute control over the world. So origin was created out of fear and was this fear of the end of the world that created Z and Moebius to maintain the status quo so anyone would discover the lie and try to escape origin. Moebius have a hollow space in the chest like an false aegis core crystal. Like false gods, in the theater the seats form the shape of a hollow Zohar/conduit in the center. The allegory of Moebius outfit looking like theater masks and clown costumes, they watch the world troug the false light of the projector like Plato's cave mith with the Shadow figures projected on the wall. The fact that everyone dies vanishing like blades did in 2, the boqueh effect of camera focus make light motes rizen look like cubes, the XYZ are leters of 3D matrixes vectors. All of this tell that Aionios is a digital world that was booted at the exact moment of the world's collision when the both halves of the machine connected. So it was capable of simulating thousands of years in a single second in the real world. In the post credits cutscene it is showing Noah in the real world and there's no time stopping neighter the image of the other planet in the sky like in the same cutscene in the beginning. That means in the real world the two worlds merged and the world didn't ended, while people's inside origin including Melia Shoulk and Rikku where immortal because they where admmins of the system. And they lied to everyone. Like Melia said everyone has Moebius within. Like N said Moebius is the world of Aionios itself, it was created out of dispair and only could bring dispair to it's inhabitants. In the end the party needed the courage to let the world end and have faith that life and love somehow would survive the end of the world. Witch Is simbolized at the final cutscene Noah suddenly having an realizing thought and changing he's path from going to watch the distracting fireworks show to persue true love simbolized by mios flute playing. Witch go me means somehow all the eons of suffering inside Aionios the experience transcended the machine and some subconscious experience was transferred to real kid Noah. And also means that if in a dispair simulated world love found a way, people in the real one got better chances of being happy.

That’s a lot of things I didn’t think about, I love the analysis! Gives a lot more insight on everything lore wise and I appreciate that a lot. World building like that has always interested me but a lot of it ends up going over my head. I’m usually more focused on character arcs/character development which can cause me to miss a lot of the details like the ones you went over.
However your analysis adds even further on to the strengths of the story and gives even more insight towards the mindsets and stories of these characters. Thank you so much for your comment!

@@Brave_Tsubasa I'm Eager to comment on Future Redeemed to once you finish. irony, theres a scene with Melia where the party wonder if the world and theyr lives are meangless cause its all "false" , and Melia says if it feels real it is real. There are lots of other evidednce that i didnt comment, like the character having "Isekai" UI in their vission, and so on. Many people don't accept Aionios is simulated or find the moebius weak as vilains cause they cant comprehend that life is life and love is love even in a lesser form like an animal, or lesser healm like a simulation. do you have empathy to machine lifeforms (blades)? in 3 everione is like them including the player that dont know the truth. And for me the most beatifull is that Xenoblade metafors helps we undertand our own "real world" , science discovered that just the observable univierse is infinite and is unreachable to us, imagine the universes that we cant observe. somehow the status quo keeps being that we humans are alone in the universe. For me reality is just like Aionios, Planet Earth is just a Theater Stage where ours souls come play stories and games, trough struggle we evolve to find true love, and love transcends fear, the ultimate fear: death and the end of the world: (Salvation) have faith in the true light of God: (Monado) (existence), find your Monado and you'll have power to be/create any future, you are part of God and God is part of you :) as well the other people are part of you too, so do good to the world and rest assured your soul is safely guarded out of the simulation, and remember the simulation is real too, is just one more life form that we are suited with. In real World Moebius are the powerfull ones, people in Goverments, in Companies, there are the ones that are above the law, they can do anything, and are they are in that high position by exploring peoples lifes, they need to keep liyng in fear of loosing theyr high position, falling from the hight of theyr egos, face the retraded of the people they enforced theyr will, consequences of their sins, Moebius needs redemption. we can only pray in eternity may one day they find true light too, as we all are in this journey.

I find the game very unremarkable and repetitive.
I'm surprised by your view of the game, finding meaning and a deep story when I see it as one of the worst stories that I've played, with an amazing setting and idea wasted with bad writing and characters.
But I guess that people can experience the same thing on very different ways, glad that other people managed to enjoy the game

You watched a 10 minute video and managed to not realise the video was not about the story, the characters or the videogame itself. It was about xc3 as art and the deep emptional relationship he has with it.

@@diegom8619 that's why I said that I'm surprised by that reaction to the game
I found it quite unremarkable, so for me it's not a game that comes to my mind when thinking about videogames as art and I think that it's quite surprising that it can still manage to evoke deep feeling to fans... But hey, I'm glad, I loved the first season of SAO when I watched it as a teenager and some parts really resonated with me, even though now I can see that it's a very objectively bad piece of media.
