"Old man" I'm gonna stand behind you no matter where you go. You take pride in family, your religion, and racing. Those are the things I have been taught to stand behind down south.
@@theoldmansgarage hey ol' man, you ever listen to Rabbits 🐇 used cars 🚗? Hey Bill, all will be good. Your son (son's) have grown into being their own men and needs to find there own way at present. Once they have done that bit and realise you are not competing with him them, all will evolve into an awesome team.. have faith brother.

Billy and Tigger you have a great father, I lost my dad a year ago today, you all have a great channel and is a inspiration to a lot of people. My dad stock car raced and I wish I would of listen to the things he tried to teach me. Cherish the things you’re dad is teaching you.
I know you call yourself the Ole man I’m 10 years older and I think you should do some racing as I’m in to it big time have always loved old cars since my dad sold them in the 60s and 70s love your story’s and those two love hounds you carry with you everywhere they are funny till I meet you keep up the story’s and the tech thanks
I could not agree more!! that is one of the things that has made me a die hard fan and thats your values the way you have raised those boys is something so much of this world needs.thank you for that sir.
These videos bring a sense of peace and originality to the world right now. I really look forward to your videos Old Man. Great family and blessed to have the opportunity to have you share everything with all of us friends and supporters. God Bless from Middletown Ohio.
I love the whole hearted grassroots racing and the father son relationship! I used to work with my Dad and things got hard for us. But we still have an amazing relationship! I personally don't care where the channel goes, I will be seriously upset if it stops, but I just want you and your family to be happy. Period
Take Take Take? Man, if you only had a clue what you and your family GIVE to all of us. I'm almost 40 now, and I never had a father, and I lost my mother when I was a very young man. I for example do feel a bit lonely in life, and I miss having a close family like I used to. I know I probably won't ever have it again, but to see the way you and your family love each other, and work so hard to make your passions work is just inspiring, and hits me in a damn soft spot. I try to get all my car friends into the channels and I am always ranting about "How they are the coolest family on youtube" or "the coolest family in racing" and in my heart of hearts I believe that is true. As far as Billys single upload a week... it sucks for me as a fan lol. I understand him though, because I am sure it can be a bit overwhelming to work, have young love, racing cars, and vlogging/editing at the same time. You guys as a whole are the farthest thing from culture vultures.
From one "Ole Man" to another, never let your dreams become fantasy! One is attainable, one is not. There are plenty of fans to go around, no house is strong without a good foundation and some of our best things came out of American "Garage"!
I love the channel. I was Billy at one point working hand-in-hand with my father and I was a little stubborn thought I knew more. And unfortunately the older I got the more I realized my old man was right I’m now 40 years old and my dad‘s in his mid-60s not saying he was right 100% of the time but he was damn right 95% of the time Billy will come around it may not be right now but in time
There is absolutely no problem you might be looking into it too deep All of your channels together with merchandise do great Your son is a smart innovative man who is in with The Times hes gonna succeed no matter what!
I think he's left a big gap in content that you can fill up, a bunch on the table for you guys to co exist! Maybe some initial boundaries will help everything for the long run!!
My life has been a shit show hear lately, and yours and Billy’s videos and just drag racing in general is the only way I’ve found that I can escape my reality and relax. Keep your faith and keep workin, you can make it happen.
I’m 37 and I can tell you the knowledge to the sport and the cars is absolutely great and helpful your videos are the only ones I can watch all the way through with out skipping ahead keep up the great work god bless you and the family
I own a small family owned and operated mechanic shop. The struggle is real but I find similarities with my life and your channel. I think you guys have the best channel hands down. I look forward to every video.
Imagine waking up at 3 am to get the day started, and this pops up. So I had my coffee with you, and I'll get started soon. You take me back to the days when, yes, it was illegal to race on the streets, but not nearly as bad as it is now. I'm old now, and can't get out there and race anymore, but I still love it. And you're providing smiles for us, to remember old friends and cars we had. I think you could put out episodes about how much the grass grew this past weekend. You're a real guy, with the experience that it takes to be a leader in the industry. So go lead. You take your channel wherever you want it to go, and we'll be here waiting for the next one...
One of the best things ive noticed in your videos and from meeting you is you always tell them you love them. Thats one of the best things ever Bill. Thats one of the things they will always remember. Much love and God bless!!!
Old man nothing old school about you but that 55 screens something else DONT EVER STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING OR WHO YOU ARE FANTASTIC AND HUMBLE I KNOW OF NO OTHER CHANNEL THAT IS. CAPABLE OF YOUR HUMBLENESS YOU THANK THOSE AROUND YOU SO FREEKING GREAT
The reason you guys have so many followers and success is because you and your family are genuine people that shows the care and appreciation through your videos, and your daily life encounters whether they are caught on camera or not. It’s rare to find people like you and your family. Though I can’t speak for everyone, I however greatly appreciate what you guys do and watch all of yours and Billy’s videos. Thank you for the entertainment and great content.
I understand how you feel. I am almost your age and my son is 27 married, with and daughter now. When they grow up we are not priority anymore and it’s normal. That doesn’t make it suck any less. He is all about ls and turbo and I am old school small block, carb, and nitrous. I love your channel and look forward to what you have coming.
I don't think people realize how smart our dads are. We all get smarter as we age but it just something about our fathers and their experience in life.
My pops about the same age as the ole man the amount of things i learned from him and still dont know half of what he knows .that 60s 70s generation they know
Also want to say I love every story but I enjoy watching you and now that I understand how and why the channel came about I really can appreciate the whole deal I mean I have always loved the channel but this week I have went through almost every video and the 1 where you explained why u started the channel and you did talk about some times you were not proud of. The truth is I came up about the same way and racing saved me as well, I am not as big as you guys heck I only have a 10 sec truck that I do bracket race in Maryland but, It did save my life and I wish my dad was half as bright as you were to see where this were going I had help from a the gut next door I will leave out his name he has pass since but he pulled my from the gutter and I had to work for it but I now understand why he sent me this route and I am greatful for it
I just want to add that I'm a young guy and like carburetors and hearing a small block rowing through the gears. I love your channel because I don't want to just watch other people drag race I want to do it myself one day with a s10(my first truck). You have already saved me alot of time and money with just the front suspension setup alone. Thanks for channel and keep it coming.
We will be right behind you. Make it more than a channel, make it a lifestyle. Hopefully the kids will join you on the trip because it would be great for all of you. Possibly open their eyes to what's possible.
Which ever way your channel goes I will keep watching. Enjoy the family time with your boys. You are a good man and you always give of your time to other racers. Just make sure you take time for yourself. Hi June Pup.
Being 72 years old; I'm kinda old school too. I was impressed as hell with that guys car in Owensboro 572 two fours and let it eat! No power adders that gets me fired up.
Thank you for being you, taking the time to explain the tech segments in detail, the whole thing! I'd subscribe to any online mag/articles you put out. Your shop tour and interviews would be amazing!! That is giving back, you are doing great! I'm 40 and I know your fan base is a much more broad spectrum than youd think.
Go for it I will definitely watch! I met you and your family at English Mountain Dragway. Super nice people!! I’m a Ford guy but I will always support FAMILY!! Because that is what life is all about!! You put the good LORD first and it will all work out!! Best of luck to you and your family!!!
Just wanted to let you know your for sure giving back and doing what you said you wanted to to. It’s greatly appreciated. Been watching you awhile now and am going back and watching the old videos. Thank you!!!
I don't know anyone else on here you are living my dream,I am 67 yrs old an a disabled combat yet.i was in involove in drag racing started in 1969,I have ran modified elim.,super stock elim.had my own machine shop twice in different states. What you do for me in let my experience thing i yeared over the years again .And it feels good. You keep Billys feet to the fire because I know, you only have once to do it.I couldn't do it with my son because he has MS an is bed fast. So keep up the good work you do I enjoy the culure,PS you ain't no vulure
dont let your sons lack of drive hold you back form achieving great things with your channel. i love what you do and believe you can really make something out of this and in my opinion they can help or take a back seat if you start taking their "customers" with views or merchandise. its the boys choice dont let it hinder what you can achieve
I'm a young man and I watch your channel every night. I enjoy your sons channel and I respect how fast both your boys trucks are. I like them old skool. Smelly, big cam, big carb, lots of gear.. before I got deep into racing dirt sprint cars I was a HUGE street racer and I was making 9 second 1/4 mile passes on the street back in 2008-2009. Street racing around here died so I had to move on but I still cruise my car everywhere. I love your channel and content keep it coming!
Love your channel love everything about you guys I love seeing how your family sticks together when it comes to racing and anything else me and my son have father-son time sitting down watching you and your son do y'all's thing and I street race too my son's interested in it and now he really wants to do it from me and him sitting down watching you guys thanks for what you're doing keep up the good work.
It’s definitely doable because there’s plenty that are doing it. It absolutely requires 3-4 uploads weekly. Billy will see soon and the family will keep growing I’ve got faith
Everything your saying makes sense to me. You guy’s are definitely have to WORKFORIT especially in the beginning to lay the groundwork for an awesome channel.
Hi my name is Artie and I’ve just started watching and subscribed to your channel. I’m up here on Long Island NY and I’m a retired. Aircraft mechanic. When I was a youngster in the 60’s we all had cars like you are driving now. We had 57, 55 chevys and fords that we always worked on and you and I are old school in fact I’m probably older than dirt but still love the old cars like your driving. They mean so much to me. I had a 68 mustang brand new but Vietnam came along and when I returned marriage and kids and dogs. Came along and the mustang had to go.I hated that but what are you gonna do. Keep that 55 going it sounds great and I miss it. Even Long Islands drag strips are long gone. well thanks for listening I’ll get back to the video think your done at the bank. This pandemic is driving me nuts thanks for your channel. I busted my ass my whole life and now we’re living through this. Anyway stay safe and well 😊🏁🇺🇸 your in central Ohio my daughter and grand kids live in Loveland Ohio. Long story if we ever meet I’d need days to get through it. I know what your talking about
I just love how real you are. You tell it how it is and what it is with no bullshit. Above all else genuine. I love your channel sir because of what you give to us people watching it. You get a little but of everything and thatd including Billy's channel. Thanks for these 👍
Just want to thank you and your family, my 14 year old son started watching your son and SRC which got me watching. Now you are taking it to a level where I enjoy and looking forward to your videos because I enjoy the technical aspects keep up the great work we are both behind you!
Pop's, you are a damn good father, don't ever think any different. Keep your hopes up. I love your videos, I'm not young and not old but 48. I'm from old school thinking and not so much new age stuff. Keep it coming. I ask only one thing, make shirt's and ball Caps with your American flag logo. I love it.
That dog maybe crazy, but it loves the hell out of all of you. She is such a sweetheart and if I'm right she maybe a little spoiled also. Great channel, videos and great guys you have there. You are right it takes more than one person to do what you want to do and alot of time. Take it one step at a time.
Hey Mr. Billy "Old Man"! I've been watching on your sons channels alot, and now I'm watching yours as well. Life is too short, i understand everyone need to get along and wish them the best of all times. My dad and I get along, we have some ups and downs like everyone does, but I'm glad he give an advice of what not and what to do. Im 37 years old, never to old to learn and you're gonna learn everyday till time is up. I understand what you're say, Mr. Old man, and I wish you the best and your family as well. Don't take it hard, just keep moving forward, and enjoy it while you're at it. If you ever come down in Louisiana, I would like to meet ya. Have a safe trip and go get them tiger! God bless yall!
Its gotta be real and you've gotta be feeling it in your soul. It's the only way it works. Billy and you have earned the right to do what's right. Great content
One old man to another(I'm 60), there is plenty of stuff for all of you. And it's all good! BTW, you get down to Texas, you will have to come by my shop. Building acouple of old Fords I think you would enjoy. Later!
Old man my brother I love ur channel and everything u represent just remember u are the FOUNDATION of ur family no matter what decison are being made behind closed doors within ur family U are their foundation in faith hope and love ur friend PAUL G team SAN ANTONIO TX @SRC garage
You are such a good man. Its good to see there are more of us out there. God bless you and your family. I hope every grand dream you have comes true. You have been a somebody all your life but now you're making a voice for yourself and we would be proud to see you achieve your goal in this. Some of us will be forever under the rock. Just please dont forget us.
Don't worry pops, mine are just a few years older than yours now and almost as fast as their gone they come back to us but in a different way. Their lives may be much different than ours but the love and respect that they show as they get a little older and the work ethic/drive kicks in and its beautiful to watch. And very satisfying knowing that we did a good job. Love your channel and look forward to seeing a new video every day. But take a break every once in awhile and enjoy with miss Vicky.
Yes, ur correct, ive been in this game since i was 14, im 50 now, lol, from a fathers view point ur 100% correct on ur views, wish my 2 boys would take interest, im still wrenching, even after a bad crash in my outlaw car in 2009, told i would never walk again, but im walking, no pain meds, u guys and what ur doing keeps me positive to keep moving forward, i do miss racing, i would race tomorrow if my wife would let me, but i made a promise to her, so i live through u guys, street racing, no prep, so thank u guys.
Just sayin that in January and February there are still tracks open in Florida Texas, and California. I love what you're doin. I've been a big drag racing fan forever, and have built a couple of cars. Now I'm finally building my truck, and am using a lot of the info I've learned from you to make it as fast as I possibly can. I thank you for every bit of knowledge that you have given out. I am working on getting videos to put up on my channel to lay out the build, and if nothing else give people the chance to watch me screw things up, and learn what not to do.
I would love to see some in depth interviews and some shop tours and whatnot. I think that kinda stuff would be huge for SRC 💯 agreed also 2-3 uploads a week with some more personal/day to day stuff would be awesome too. Keep up the good work old man 👌🏽
Its a pleasure you and your kids take us a long in your everyday life! I can't say this for everyone but it's great to watch and travel to watch you guys race and to get the chance to meet and visit. You all are just as great in person as you are in the videos! Keep up the great work and we will keep watching!
Just now catching up on the videos. Thanks for the love Bill, I really appreciate it! Lucky to have some great people in my corner, the respect is mutual 💯
You've done plenty. Relax and just be you. Because of you, a man with a car problem, we have 2 of your sons to watch for years to come. You were able to pass that car habit to your sons and opened your lives to everyone to watch. Because of you there are kids all over that now want to learn about cars. We thank you.
Love the content you provide, not only are you showing what it take's to race an maintance the car. You are teaching all the safety, an all the realistic goal's to expect when you put your time into the sport you love. If this lifestyle doesn't put back into the community you wouldn't be doing an sharing like you are. You've taught everyone what this lifestyle consists of. Really appreciate what you are doing it's not easy, the cost is insane. Think what your doing is awesome. Love watching street racing, building the car's is a thrill. Alway's going watch your content.
In case you havent realized it but theres thousands of us that will back you with everything you do! There needs to be more stand up people who do this! Love your and Billy's channel! You guys ever find yourselves In Las Vegas, your always welcome to come out to see our race spot and race!
Hey there old man. Love your video channel I live in South Florida I'm 55 now but my background is in the Auto industry. My father was an auto parts manufacturer for General Motors and Ford. We were OEM. Because of my family's involvement with cars of course I was a Motorhead. With what you talk about regarding the channel where you want to take it. I agree with you 100%. My father when he was alive he told me to very important things. First fail to plan plan to fail. How important it is to actually have goals and have a plan on how to achieve them instead of just winging it. II on his Deathbed he told me you have to treat life like a game of chess you have to think 5 Moves ahead before you make your next move. Just food for thought keep it going I enjoy it
I'm with you brother. Love the content on your channel and relate to it better. There is room for all of it and each channel (or media) as they will feed each other. As the old saying in business goes..."when the tide rises, all boats will rise" Good luck and God Bless. Follow your dream and vision.
You got this man. It’s ok to have two channels. You guys have a good thing. They are a bit different and that’s ok too. You guys can do them together as needed and keep them separate as needed too. With technology today there’s nothing you guys can’t accomplish between the two channels. Maybe your channel taking off will be the example Billy needs ,in your eyes, to get up on his end and get with the program. You guys are both passionate about the life. It’s just the difference in old school and new school. I may be wrong, but I’m sure you and your Pa butted heads now and again when you were Billy’s age. Like I’ve mentioned in the passed, you can only be the best example you can be and hope that those you’re mentoring will follow suit.
Seriously love your channel and your thought process. I work 40+hrs a week, had my car for 20yrs and finally getting to work ok her more and more. Been my passion for a long long time. Keep it up. Would love to be involved in such a great idea like you have!
10:50 where you talk about the olders being more drawn to your channel. Im 23 but grew up around an uncle whos now in his mid 60s. You kind of remind me of him in the way you can teach, very calm and thorough.
Even when I see you’ve uploaded a video in the middle of the night I gotta get up and watch it. I really enjoy your videos and content and want to thank you for sharing so much of of your knowledge with those of us that are just learning drag racing but we have the passion to go faster and aren’t afraid to work hard or even tail some times. I appreciate what your doing with your channel and look forward watching and learning from every video that you upload.
I didn’t realize this was your own channel, I follow SRC on Facebook, and just looked y’all up on here. I thought these were just videos I haven’t seen on Facebook. I’m glad I found your channel though, I’m really enjoying it. I haven’t spoken to my father in years (he’s not worth speaking too) it is nice to see there are good fathers out there.
good luck OLD MAN you are a winner and your channel is awesome I hope Billy understands that this is a good plan but he needs to know this is hard work and he is not much on hard work and is the least he can due since you are the one who helped him get where he is now YOU EARNED IT do not kid yourself
Sorry again I don't comment and have not much ever but in my eyes you have earned it old man you set you your sons up ,You have raised your family and from what you said the way you set out too you have help Billy with that truck not taking from him he is awasome and he is way younger than myself but not to ramble on you but in the time you also have another s10 for Tommy and have earned your spot from young guys and old and I pray these guys step up and let you know I wish my dad was half the man you are sir
I wish you luck. your love for the sport is definitely needed we need your side of The View we need your work ethic we need your honesty just remember it's one quarter mile at a time
I've already said it before, but you and that dog are the highlight of the show. The ultimate judgement of a person's character is how they treat animals. Bill, you are a good man.
This is what I’ve learned in my 40 years of being on this earth. Now I’m not disrespecting anyone at all but this is what I’ve learned. When a person comes up living a life where he has to earn every penny he has, he appreciates everything he learns and buys all long the way. For those that where handed things to them to start their life or parents feel bad because they understand the hard life and they don’t want that for there kids are the ones that don’t understand that certain drive. Now everyone has a drive but that certain drive puts everything second in life when trying to achieve a certain goal is the drive not to many have anymore. I’ve made that mistake with my kids and not saying that’s what you did but this is my opinion on my life. You drill that into your kids because we only have one chance in life to do it right. Wish you the best of luck brother and if you need anything please let me know. I’ll help you anyway I can
I think its a great idea. Go chase it. I think giving the real deal street racers some light is awesome. Show the public what some of these people do for a living to have a little fun. Lots of cool people to interview. Heck can run over to a few smaller shops/performance industries and show people what the company does and makes.
Yep we are still out there. Us ol'guys. Listening to you I've thought about building a new truck to do some drag racing for fun. And your Ideas are spot on.
I understand everything you are saying Bill. I'm 50 with 2 sons. We did everything together when they were young. I thought that closeness would last forever. And it's painful when you realize it won't. I can tell the pain you are feeling about distance growing between you. I'm old school too. You and I are very much alike. I think we'd get along good
Young Man I am several years older than you I can tell by your body language something was and is working you greatly. You may have too take a step back and MAKE HIM GROW UP personal advice KEEP THE FAITH AND GOD BE WITH YOU WITH EVERY STEP YOU TAKE BECAUSE I WILL!!!!!!
There’s something to be said about a dad and son relationship. It will come around for ya someday. My dad was never right when I was 25 either. I’m sure your dad thought the same? This generation needs more help than ever. But you are a good influence for US all
You sir, Bill are amazing man , love what you do for the Racing world , you Help everyone out I'm very thankful for all you do.......prayers Offered up
I started watching your son's Channel and then when you started your Channel for some reason I connected and I look forward I guess you kind of remind me of myself I'm a little older than you are but 10 years and I always love drag racing and old cars I was like an egg for 38 years so have my own shop at the house I'm disabled now so I do a little bit at a time but I'm definitely a big Chevy guy keep being yourself
Some people will Identify with you more than your son. Just a generations thing. I will support you both.
"Old man" I'm gonna stand behind you no matter where you go. You take pride in family, your religion, and racing. Those are the things I have been taught to stand behind down south.

Iloveyou too miss Vicki you Do look like my grand father Nat perez ❤
You and June are why I really love this channel.
Yessir, that car was badass 👍🏽
Thank you for being you, taking the time to explain the tech segments in detail, the whole thing! I'd subscribe to any online mag/articles you put out. Your shop tour and interviews would be amazing!! That is giving back, you are doing great! I'm 40 and I know your fan base is a much more broad spectrum than youd think.
Love the intro, also love your character and respect level for every aspect of life. Tis the reason you sir are successful.

From one old gear head to another keep up the good work. You get back what you put in. Much respect to you and your family for putting it out there.
I'm behind you 100% old man. Keep it going. You've made my love for racing come alive and at 53 that's no easy task.
40 y/o here and your a great source of content once a week ain't enough. Man young men would kill to have a father figure like you.
Love the channel man watch it all the time. You’re a great example to young fathers!
Your angle on all the motor sports is what I totally agree, is what us old school people live for.. looking forward to every new episode
I'm PUMPED for the next chapter! Keep it up! 💪🙏
Man with the plan, sounds great Old Man!! Wherever all this takes you, you will have well earned it brother!!! Thank you
In case you havent realized it but theres thousands of us that will back you with everything you do!
Patreon would also be a good help in gaining support for the family, don't change your ways and words don't lose faith. Carey on with what you do.
I wish you luck. your love for the sport is definitely needed we need your side of The View we need your work ethic we need your honesty just remember it's one quarter mile at a time
Checking in from Kansas. From my perspective you are not hurting Billy's channel. I think you are building up a larger brand. Mutually beneficial.
I've already said it before, but you and that dog are the highlight of the show. The ultimate judgement of a person's character is how they treat animals. Bill, you are a good man.
Love the hole family and the channels. I will be watching whatever you all do. Wish the best for you and God bless the hole family.
I’ll help you anyway I can
Old man here and appreciate your channel - more carburetor tuning and mechanical lessons you have learned over the years would be great
No matter what endeavors you pursue I will support and follow your channel. I wish you luck.
I love all of your channels they all meet a need or have a space. I am 57, I also worked with my father first and then with my son. I can relate.
Chase your dreams and goals we stand behind u old man big prayers to be very successful with all of what u wanna do
I think its a great idea. Go chase it. I think giving the real deal street racers some light is awesome. Show the public what some of these people do for a living to have a little fun. Lots of cool people to interview. Heck can run over to a few smaller shops/performance industries and show people what the company does and makes.
And the followers will love it and tune in.
Absolutely LUV this channel. Yessir, the intro is KILLAH! Just keep do'n what you're do'n 'ol Dad,, we're with ya!
Yep we are still out there. Us ol'guys. Listening to you I've thought about building a new truck to do some drag racing for fun. And your Ideas are spot on.
Follow your dreams because we will watch !!
Yours and Billy’s Chanel so humble so dam refreshing thanks
