BEAUTIFUL simple and no fuss. You use high quality ingredients, so no need to "muck" up the sauce with junk.❤ new sub here from Central San Joaquin Valley California
Thanks, Stephanie, and welcome aboard!
Godfather...I just made your red sauce and meatballs and i gotta say.....Im in heaven man...that was the most delicious spaghetti and meatballs ive EVER had! I will NEVER buy red sauce ever again. I cant wait to try out the rest of your amazing recipes..next up is that chicken parm tomorrow
Very flattering, thanks so much and so happy you’re enjoying our videos!
My grandmother used to grow Rosso tomatoes with seeds her family would send her from Italy. I use Pastene or Tuturosso San Marzano tomatoes for my sauce. Looks excellent and thanks for sharing.
Thanks Mike!
Hey: I stumbled onto your cooking videos, and I have now watched several of them. Today, I made your marinara and meat ball recipes...really, really, really good. I very much appreciate all the work, effort, and time it takes you to produce the videos. Also, I further appreciate you sharing the authentic family recipes...outstanding. Many, many thanks.
So nice of you….makes us very happy when folks actually cook and enjoy our recipes.
We appreciate and thank you very much!
Great video! Thank you for sharing your recipes!!!
Thank you for watching!
Onions cook "Slower" than the garlic, not faster as you stated in the video. "I put the onions in first because they cook faster than the garlic and I don't want to burn the garlic". ANOTHER WONDERFUL video friend! This is extremely similar to the way i make my sauce currently! I WILL make this exact version in the next few days. I have no immediate use for it at the moment, but it won't take long for one to come up! I'll, again, let you know of my results. Where was "the moo"? I miss that lil girl!
That’s what I meant! Thanks again….
Moomoo is on her own schedule lol!
K. I. S. S. always keep it simple stupid. Nice version. You do it right. God bless. Thanks
Thanks Rich!
Hey I love your videos, you are the reason we went out and bought a mincer/sausage maker and used your recipe, the best sausages we have ever tasted. Just wondering about canned tomatoes and whether to buy ones with no sugar or not godfather !
😂😂
Thanks so much!
Makes me smile to hear about folks trying our recipes!
NO SUGAR my Aussie friend!!!
Cutting video for Italian chicken sausage tomorrow!
That looks bussin
What the heck does "bussin" mean?
Thanks Hoss!
I reduce my onions with some red wine.
Nice!
Thank you!!
How often do you put wine and/or basil in it if you are just using it for pasta?
Great question. As I said, in the video, it just depends on what mood I’m in. I do like to mix it up every once in a great while but for the most part cooking just like that.
Thanks again.
Is this what you would put on spaghetti?? Or would you dress it up with other ingredientes?
It’s wide open to whatever you use tomato sauce for. Pasta, lasagna, etc. As it states in the video. Thanks so much for your support
Is there a recipe? I know that sounds crazy but I like to print them out so I don't forget...Cheers
No, but email me and I’ll send back specific instructions for you…

Just discovered your channel, looking to make some homemade red sauce and balls. My understanding is you bring the sauce initially to a boil, then what heat do you simmer it on for 45 minutes?
Then whatever heat that is, is that what level of heat you cook your balls for 30 minutes ish based on that ball video?
Yes, bring to a boil/simmer, then cook the sauce and balls on a very low simmer for at least 30 minutes but up to two hours if you’d like. Do not cook the balls for more than 30 to 45 minutes. Especially if you’ve baked them or fried them first. If you’ve put them in raw, you want to cook them for an hour.
@@godfatherbbqitalian thank you so much, funny enough I just got home from the grocery store with all the ingredients, and have this video up on the tv as I’m starting it!
That’s awesome! Let me know how it comes out please. Thanks so much!
@@godfatherbbqitalian great balls and sauce, thank you for sharing the recipe! Spaghetti and meatballs tonight.

My wife always says to me why do you leave the can on the counter with the spoon in it. I said because just leave It there. You always leave the can on the counter with the spoon In It.
Yes! A very important detail.
Thank you !
a good italian cooks their sauce for half the day not 45 minutes. LOL
Not marinara my friend, a meat sauce, yes.
Do some research
Thanks
