  • Did the sentencing to death of Jiang Qing, the widow of Mao Zedong, founder of the People's Republic of China, enable the Chinese Communist Party led by Deng Xiaoping to absolve itself of the crimes of the Great Helmsman? Accused of counter-revolutionary crimes after Mao's death, she embodied the hard left of the Chinese Communist Party, which Deng is determined to get rid of to make way for his modernisation plan

"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players."
Thus spoke Shakespeare, who knew a thing or two about theatre.
Jiang Qing was handed the role of villain in the stage of Chinese history.
She played the role well, and she played it with relish.
There is probably no woman more reviled than Jiang in modern Chinese history.
The mistreatment of Wang Guangmei, wife of President Liu Shaoqi (at 7:07) during the Cultural Revolution, is testament to her vindictive nature.
There is a famous photo of Madame Wang being paraded wearing a necklace of pingpong balls, in caricuture to the pearls she wore in a state visit to Indonesia.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Perhaps Chinese history might have taken a different route if this second rate actress had been better received early in her career.
Just as European history may have taken a different route if Hitler had succeeded as a painter instead of heading the National Socialist movement.
Just a tip: The letter "Q" in hanyu pinyin is pronounced as "ch".
So "Jiang Qing" should be pronounced "Jiang Ching", not "Jiang King".
And the "Qing" Dynasty is pronounced as "Ching" dynasty.

While comparing and contrasting these two figures can provide valuable insights into China's complex history, it is essential to do so in a way that promotes understanding and critical analysis rather than sensationalizing or trivializing their contributions.

Deng Xiaoping, on the other hand, played a key role in China's economic reforms and modernization efforts following the tumultuous period of the Cultural Revolution. His pragmatic approach to governance led to significant economic growth and development in China.

Before the advent of communism in China, the country was plagued by a feudal system that oppressed the majority of the population. Communism helped to dismantle this system and redistribute resources more equitably among the people.

The Communist Party of China (CPC) played a crucial role in unifying the country and providing stability after years of civil unrest and foreign invasions. The CPC's leadership helped to bring about a sense of national unity and pride among the Chinese people.

Yep. After Deng Xiaoping the market economy with the Authoritarian bureaucratic system, the Chinese working class, particularly the Labour worker all became cheap labour for globalisation.
Sweatshop with cheap labour, but big winnings for global capitalism.

*Resilience and Adaptability**: Despite facing challenges and setbacks, the Chinese Communist Party has shown resilience and adaptability over the years. The ability to evolve and adapt to changing circumstances has allowed communism to remain a dominant force in Chinese politics.

While communism had its successes in China, it is also essential to acknowledge the criticisms and drawbacks associated with the system. The ideological nature of communism led to periods of turmoil and suffering, such as the Cultural Revolution and other political campaigns. Additionally, the rigid control exerted by the Communist Party has been a point of contention for those seeking more political freedoms.

Cultural revolution was a huge mistake and a lesson. Progress must be rooted in materialism and in productive forces rather than idealism and culture wars

it takes the in China and westerner mainstream vulgate without deepening or giving a new investigation at all.
As an example China was a Confucian country with a very conformist culture against the " Half of the sky" as Mao called the woman, and sustained her emancipation . Against the current, was not Jiang but Mao who vowed the new enter Jiang. Mao who was a vigorous man with normal sexual desires even under the condition of the civil war, was very respectful of woman and female comrades. This the report of Mobo Gao in his valuable and serious work:" In defense of China past. Mao and the Cultural Revolution", Ed Pluto London. Which Mobo ridiculize the figure and the words of Li Zhisui, the self-proclaimed Mao's special physician. Who was the media successful main strategist of a Chairman womanizer .
