- Together with Mateo from PRZperformance we unlocked pops and bangs on my mini JCW LCI2 F56.
Prior to this I had to remove the opf filter. Quick and easy process that made the car sound so much better.
only with OPF delete does the mini not pop? you need a softwareupdate also?
The multitone rooftop is mindblowing, in future i think to try it on my r56 with a wrap. Nice car mate

@michabujanowicz8165 Are you aware of the specific modifications that were made? Was it related to coding options, or did they make changes to the ignition tables? I'm curious to understand, as far as I know, ECU/DME units from September 2020 onwards are typically restricted from being reprogrammed.
Did you ever find out? I think they just code the DME using E-SYS and change the emission standard from EUR6 RDE / RDE II to EUR6.
I assume the DME is locked for flashing, but not for coding.
@@rebelroad401 I contacted Matteo to schedule a service for my F56 JCW, and I couldn't be happier. I also added a catless downpipe, so experiences may vary.
Based on my research and the process with Matteo, it seems the service involves coding or tuning the TCU via E-Sys. While the ECU is blocked from re-flashing, the TCU is not, allowing modification (maybe of some ignition parameters?)
Both Matteo (PRZ) and the guys from RAARO offer a "Pops Enablement service" and a "Faster gearchange service," indicating these changes on the TCU side.

I cut the opf before doing this procedure. Besides the opf delete the car is stock.

No. The car is equipped with an aftermarket exhaust from Ulter Sport

Hi...thx for this video. i have a brandnew 08/23 JCW F56. the errocodes are gone after finnishing the software? did you change anything on the exhaust and does it work with the original exhaust system? is the OPF/GPF still installed? how much cost the flash? (many questinons...i know 😛)
oh i read now...the OPF was removed....in austria you can no longer get a driving license at the annual check. so i cant do.😪
@home1fun just have a straight pipe on clamps and put the opf back in for the inspection.
