I will also say that Japanese Twitter thanked Elon for "healing" the site. They noticed that there were no political talking points on the trending tab like there usually was. Yeah, one of my former friends who was a leftist tried pulling that card. I pointed out they have spent their entire 50 years of life weasling out of every cent they could. They paid people $500 to get out of paying a thousand. If there was a box that said, "Not paying taxes this year' they would fill it out every year. They are the very thing they are complaining about.
Was there an epiphany? No, just an angry look because I called them out on their BS. It started happening all the time so I cut ties. 30 years of friendship gone, but I wasn't the one who changed, they did. They went from an easygoing early 90's leftist to the current version. Sad, but it happens.
